  1. 1. Should Steve Kean be sacked

Recommended Posts

Let's be honest, the guy gets an unbelieveable amount of stick, it's not his fault the owners are clueless ###### and sacked a boring but effective BFS.

I do feel sorry for managers sacked, John Bond was doing a wonderful job at Burnley, unfortunately he was sacked before he could complete what he was trying to do!!

Can somebody ban this Dingle?

Oh leave him be, Matty. What a small, insignificant life he must have to get enjoyment from these little quips. I bet he lies awake at night thinking them up. He'll struggle to get out of bed when his Mum calls for him!

I do not think you have Steve Kean any chance.Steve Kean is a great manager.

:lol::lol::lol:

Steve, get your bald head back to the training ground and focussing on tomorrow's game, rather than pissing around on the internet.

Given his sentence structure, I'd say he was Indian.

Ask him how his Cricket team is doing in Australia at the moment. They are making the French look a number two test nation at the moment.

Not to be too offensive, but when Indians are doing well, great, but when they are losing, they hide away or are oblivious to the problems that got them in the situation they are in.

Not sure where I should post this but here is a combined 2011 league table. It contains just the 17 teams that spent all of 2011 in the PL. Proves what such a great manager he is!

So the facts are that this is the performance levels you get when you hire an SEM/Kentrao client to manage your football club over a twelve month period.

Would be good to compare the previous twelve months before this just to show the competitive slide.

I struggle to see what more a

manager could do with the side

though, their fans seem to

clearly have a delusional sense

to them. Look at the promoted

sides, QPR spent money, and

Norwich and Swansea may well

sink like a stone ala Blackpool,

Hull etc and others have done.

I'd say Bolton have a better

squad, and Owen Coyle's getting

very little stick in comparison, if

any whatsoever. They are a poor

premiership side, with little

firepower and IMO only one

solid player, Paul Robinson. Poor

old Steve Kean seemed to be

promised the world, not long

ago they were linked with

Ronaldinho when the Venkis

(sp?) took over, another false set

of promises.

I feel sorry for him, and respect

him massively for sticking with it

to fight for his job.

Absolutely, he's hasn't done a

great job but he has no money

to spend, the fans should look at

the board not the manager.

Besides this no-one deserves that

much abuse just for being a ######

manager (in blackburn fans

opinions), the fans are a disgrace

Their? 100% outed as a WUM as if it wasn't obvious already. Is that you Jerome?

The board is a mute subject as they seem to be powerless to do anything - the power lies in Pune.

Slight issue with that - in normal circumstances any manager at any club with his win ratio would have been sacked (or resigned) long ago. If the same had happened at any other club there fans would have reacted in a very similar way.

I dont remember Liverpool, Man Utd, Newcastle, Everton, Darlington, Coventry, Leeds, Sunderland, West Ham, Portsmouth, etc. fans being treated the same way as Blackburn fans by the media.

With no help whatsoever

from above the bloke has

fronted up every week, shown a

lot of dignity in the face of vile

personal abuse from fans and

hostile media questioning.

He never had a chance, the

knives were out from day one

and the fans are missing the real

target, the owners, who are a

total shower. Kean didn't

appoint himself.

I reckon he will do a very good

job in the Championship in less

hysterical circumstances in the

future, if given the chance. Even

with all the turmoil, Blackburn

have been a bit unlucky and

haven't been getting thrashed

every week by any means.

Really difficult position for Kean,

clearly the owners don't give a

###### about Blackburn football

club (and judging from their

efforts neither do the players),

all just hoping to make a few

quid from Blackburn Rovers, so

there is no way they will pay him

off unless they HAVE to, they'd

far rather he takes the blame

(like bellotti) - hope he toughs it

out and forces them to pay him

off but it will be a battle of wills

and he'll take a lot more stick

before it happens.

Total case of a club hitting a

brick wall, when they go down

no-one will buy it from the

owners, who now realize what a

cock up they made buying it in

the first place, arrogant pricks,

thinking buy cheap, build it up

using peanuts and then sell at a

huge profit, ha! ha! stick to

chickens. Sorry for the true fans

though.

Maps: one question, who do you support ?

A proper Rovers fan never ever refers to the club or the team as "Blackburn".

Sorry Jim but sometimes they do if they live outside the town or abroad but that doesn't alter the fact that Maps is talking out of his arse...

And with that post you have just destroyed that last scrap of hope that you were a Blackburn Rovers supporter.

In fact if you had used the word "positive" I would have been convinced you were really Steve Kean.

Also stop pressing enter after every few words, even if you are on your mobile there is no need for this, it annoying.

Fans who live outside the area might refer to the club as Blackburn but they are wrong I'm afraid. Is and always has been just Rovers.

Well they shouldn't, nothing grates on me more than 'Blackburn', it's ROVERS.

Its plain simple. Its what we hear in the media and it is whats most natural for us to say.

IF Someone asks me who I support I normally respond with Blackburn instead of Rovers.
