The only thing we had going for us in this relegation scrap was that we've usually lost by the odd goal and consequently had a better goal difference than the rest down there. Gone in one game!

Still we can get worselves back on the training ground and sort this out so we get it right.

Shame----just when Kean was starting to win the fans round.

I've backed a very large sum in betfair on kean not getting sacked before the end of the season. Easy money.

Betfair don't have such a market. If they ever did then, as they are an exchange, it would still be live so that you could trade out.

DMTP if you please :-)

I have never voted on this particular poll.

Things have improved - after the depths we experienced just prior to xmas. I still stick to what I have always said - while the players are behind him - and while the owners won't invest in a decent manager - he is the best hope we have (sad though it is to say that).

It's now patently obvious that not all the players are behind him. Even if they were, so what? Yes, we had a mini revival around Christmas time but did anyone think it would be sustained? Going over the same ground but look at the results since those buffoons put him in charge. Not only is he not the best hope we have I would sooner anyone else be given the chance (and yes I know it wont happen). Simon Grayson's available and he would be like Alex Ferguson compared to this clown.

Well Samba was never behind him was he?!! And it doesn't look like Nelsen was or Andrews! After today is anyone but Desai behind him? Even the media might finally catch on and admit we were correct in our assessment!

What an utter shambles as Andrews told us.

kean should also and i dont mean this in an aggressive way but he really should just walk away now for his own sake whilst he still has a lot of respect within the game, i genuinely feel if he was to leave now take some time of to put things into perspective, he will have learnt a lot and could go on to be a decent manager somwhere else under better circumstances(look at pardew, i thought he was a terrible manager before going to newcastle).

really? pardew did a fine job at reading, didnt he also get west ham promoted? kean has done nothing in his previous 'coaching' career to even merit being mentioned in the same breath as pardew, kean wont be a decent manager anywhere else because he wont get a job anywhere else!!!

The trully frustrating thing for me is the good results that Kean lovers keep going on about.

Beating Man United at Old Trafford doesnt give you 40 points!!!

Id have much rather lost away to them, lost at home to Arsenal, lost to Everton and Liverpool

But beaten Wolves and Bolton and drew with WBA and Stoke say. (Under Hughes id be looking to beat all four)

I realise it would be the same amount of points but it would give us two things,

1. Consistency, I expect to beat WBA at home but we lose, I expect to lose to Arsenal but we win? I expect to beat Wolves at home, we lose, I expect to get hammered by United away, we win!!!??

As a Rovers fan under any decent manager I dont mind if we were to lose every home and away match vs the top 6 but then beat or draw with every other team in the league (obviously lose a few, mainly away from home, but looking like we are trying to win those matches)our team even under Kean has shown they can literally beat anyone anywhere!!! But cant do it on a consistent basis. Are the players only playing well against top teams so they can earn a move away? Does Kean only get his players motivated for the BIG games?

2. IF we were to have beaten Wolves and Bolton instead of United and Arsenal we would have the same amount of points BUT Wolves and Bolton would both have 3 points less putting us out of the relegation zone! Losing to Everton and Liverpool instead of WBA and Stoke and getting draws vs them would have WBA only 4 points above the drop zone instead of the 6 they are now.

Basically the likes of Burnley and Blackpool can boast about how they beat Man United and Liverpool the season they went down.......but they still went down!!

Your home games are your bread and butter, you should be picking up at least 10 wins at home out of 19 matches, well thats 30 points alone. Throw in some draws and then your away points and not only are you safe but your pushing for top half of the table. Kean has lost 9 out of 12 at home this season. The likes of Wolves, WBA and Bolton are coming to Ewood and going for the win and getting it!!! THATS why we deserve to go down!!

I would happily play our reserves vs top 6 teams away as long as I had my first team fit for all home games against bottom 12 teams.

We SHOULD be beating Norwich, Wigan etc at home but im not sure we will? Our squad is soooooo poor at the moment, out of the 25 named players I think players that trully deserve to be playing for decent PL sides are Robbo, Samba, Givet, Yakubu................every now and again the likes of Olsson and Junior etc and il admit ive been impressed with Hanley, Lowe and Henley but for what they are which is kids thrown in at the deep end playing for a clueless manager with no tactics (sorry the tactic is we must score at least 3 because we will always conceed at least 2)

Formica, Vuckevic and Rochina all look class to me but Kean insists on playing Dunn and Pedersen ahead of them so they simply cant be any good, can they?

Basically people will criticise Venkys for not giving Kean funds etc well I looked at the PL table tonight and Norwich and Swansea were 9th and 10th and fair dos to them. I dont think they spent mega bucks this season? I dont actually think they have better squads than us? I know they certainly have a lot less experience than us in the PL so the blame in Keans case and praise for Rogers and Lambert lies with the managers!!! Steve Bruce had Sunderland in relegation fight. Martin Oneil has Sunderland 8th AFTER the massive head start he gave the rest of the league!!!

Managers are so important hence why SAF and Mourinho are so well credited, in my opinion we have the worst manager in the league and thats why we are in the bottom 3. Even Alan Curbishley or Warnock would have us 13th to 16th.

Sorry about long post but this whole situation has made me really ill, im seeing the club I love being destroyed and there is nothing I can do about it.

Basically QPR is a MUST win game.......but so was Bolton......... and Newcastle reserves

Its ok, we will just win away at Chelsea and City instead!!!!

Yeah Id rather have Ince over Kean purely for what he achieved as a player!

Also I was hoping Inces connections with United, Liverpool and Inter might mean he could loan some of their fringe players, which he did with Dannny Simpson who I thought was garbage but maybe it was a little too soon for him cos hes and ever present in a Newcastle side that are 5th and complimented on their solid defence........oh and hes a right back!!!!!

Does Kean use his connections with Fulham, Coventry or in Spain?

Yes, thats how we signed andy johnson so easily.......oh wait a minute that didnt happen.

Sorry we got Dann because Kean worked with him at Coventry..........Hes done well so far hasnt he......

If we were in the Carling Cup semi final with Ince in charge he could tell the players what its like to play at Wembley and how it feels to lift trophies. Plus Ince knows what is needed to be a decent defensive centre mid, he signed Grella who to be fair when fit does the business just unlucky that hes always injured.

It feels as though we may never hear from our owners again. We are just being left to rot and die. It is a damning indictment on modern football that no-one outside the club seems to care. This really is about as bad as it gets. We have zero identity and no hope.

Incidently God found his own special way of telling me to stop going to matches. I attended the Newcastle match and started to feel ill during the second half, this culminated in intense projectile vomiting in a service station on the M62 and 24 nightmare hours, about which I will spare you the details. Thankfully, this rather convenient bout of food poisoning has left me with an aversion to Ewood Park, where the symptoms started. I shan't be attending again for some time.

why should Kean walk?, he is perfect for Venkys, no wonder they upped his salary, he just lost Nelson, Roberts, Andrews, Salgado and purchased nobodies and he is happy, he is Venkys perfect toy.

There is no human being on this earth more perfect then Kean for Venkys, a man that will lie for them, lie to himself, lie to the fans, mislead the media, protect Venkys, never betray them and basically take it up the a$$ for them as they screw him over.

I actually consider Kean totally irreplaceable for Venkys.

Would be good if Venkys could have a manager in place who had lots of experience in th PL, a history of working on a budget at other clubs but could still achieve things like say saving us from relegation in his first season then building on that by coming 10th in his second season.

Oh we had Big Sam

I can guarantee you he has little to no respect from anyone in the game.

He who shall not be named still seems to like him, Which I'm a bit surprised at, because if it wasn't for Kean's failings Rovers could have been an even more profitable ongoing project than it turned out to be.

Last time you voted, you voted to keep him though - didn't you? I'm just a bit confused when you posted that Kean should have gone before Xmas, but have never voted for him to go?

BTW, how do you see the team pattern now, is it improved, or has it fallen apart?

steve kean didn't even know that Rovers were cancelling Ryan Nelsen contract

http://www.dailystar.co.uk/posts/view/233709/Ryan-Nelsen-exit-a-shock-to-Steve-Kean/

Who make this decision??? was it Mrs D, Simon Hunt, Paul Hunt or Vinny Rao?

Are Kean and his advisors now briefing the press against Venky's? 'I mean, how do you expect Stevie to work under such conditions?'.

Teflon man rides again.

Am I the only one thinking that Kean was trying to bullsh1t in his post match interview again. In every interview he referred to the early goal and the sending-off as the turning-points as though we were only 1 goal down at the time !!!! We were 3-1 down, getting hammered and I doubt the result would have been much different even with 11 men on the pitch.
