Kean not legal expert - shock !

With reference to the Chris Samba situation today, a rather incoherent Kean is quoted in The Telegraph today as saying "Obviously - without going too deep because it could get into a position where..I'm not a legal expert - but he's fit and available for selection, but I've decided not to put him into the squad".

It seems that Rovers are considering the possibility of suing Samba for breach of contract. IMO, any claim for breach of contract is unlikely to have been helped greatly by Kean's admission that the decision not to include Samba in the squad was his (Kean's) and not Samba's although Samba was "available for selection" !

I'm pretty sure Rovers have no legal grounds to pursue any case against Samba as, much like Salgado, he's available for selection and Kean chooses not to pick him. Kean has admitted this publicly.

Not that I have anything against anyone being creative but at least there was an element of sarcasm and irony in what we did with those two videos from some (also) very annoyed Rovers fans.

Next time we will get him to cover some Dr Dre with a Garageband drum loop accompaniment.
