  1. 1. Should Steve Kean be sacked

I don't think any result will effect peoples views too much really. Most have an opinion on last season and this.

Also it should not be left to run for more than a week.

Just get a reading for one week and repeat in a couple of months if you want to.

I agree with this.

As I said, I expect a trouncing, I just want to see if there is any difference from the Stoke game and was weighing up the pros and cons of fair polling with regards to the timing of the start of the poll.

So,are we going to reset the poll?

I want kean out but would be interested to see the result of a new poll.

If you don't want to accept that overwhelming poll result, then just ask around. I don't know anyone other than Braddoch who thinks he's doing a good job.

I accept the poll result at the date it was undertaken.

I expect a follow up poll to be similar, but I'd like to see how similar.

Is that a problem?

Yes but it is not a fixed poll,

voters can change their vote

It's no problem at all, as Yoda says it's an active poll. If you're looking for support for Kean, there isn't much about. Don't need a poll for that. Look at the comments section in the LT every day.

The best way of assessing whether Venky's/Kean's reign has been successful in the eyes of the fans, is by ST sales this Summer.

Does no harm in resetting rather than allowing apathy to influence poll results. It will make a tiny difference one way or the other. It's been reset before. Why not now?

Thats a very good point under sam we were so organised and had a defence you could depend upon.

Now our defensive record is a joke.

Sam had a plan and stuck to it because most of the time it worked (there were one or two times when it was a disaster mind).

He worked wonders with the players we had and set the team up to the players strengths.

So much has changed and it drives me mad to still hear people down playing what sam did for this club.

I also don't understand the arguement that he wouldn't have given teh younger players a chance.

As memory serves he brought in Jones, Hanley and junior and was introducing them slowly.

The only reason jones got a long run was due to injuries initially.

He certainly didn't play players to their strengths. We had one of the shortest squads in the league at that point.

Why cant Kean just be honest with the fans or is that too much to ask for someone of his ilk ?

Just a yes, ive made mistakes and I hold my hand upto them with a this is the plan to go forward with from Kean and more people might come back online.

But so far he comes across as being completely dishonest, incompetent and untrustworthy.

cant see the point in resetting the poll, as it´s possible to change your vote.

Having a poll at this point in time, serves no purpose at all. Do i want kean gone, sure as hell i do, but sacking him right now, with only 10 games left seems rather far fetched.

But given your agenda, i gueas thats what you are looking for, am i right or wrong steve.?

Certainly wouldn't fancy reading this ###### from the start.

Funny thing is, it's likely to rack up at least another 200 pages IMO.

Why don't you come clean on what your agenda is?

why do you think apathy has set in re the poll, just maybe voters are happy with how they voted and don't want to change,

hey why don't you start a thread asking that very question?

Braddock's problem would appear to be that he thinks a slight (extremely slight) upturn in results will affect people's perceptions of Kean. In fact I've found that is not generally true among fans I talk to. His results are the primary cause of our wanting rid of him, but his slimy press conferences, the lies and drivel he spouts, the way he has deliberately tried to stir up divisions between fans, the way he seems to live in a parallel universe where we actually like him but are afraid to say it in case some nasty protesters have a go at us so we all write letters of support instead and a million other little things he does (yes, I can exaggerate too) are all equally important reasons to dislike his tenure, and they are not improving. I still don't trust a word he says; in fact I distrust him even more now than I did 6 months ago because I've had 6 more months of lies. I wouldn't change my vote - I still want him out but he's here until the end of the season I think because there isn't really a current alternative and the Raos aren't for sacking him. Won't change my opinion if we end up safe. Wouldn't even if we ended up clearly safe before the end of the season. Wouldn't even if he came out and apologised for the months of garbage he's put us through because I wouldn't trust it was sincere. So no point in resetting a poll because I suspect many others feel exactly the same.

JAL he has no moral fibre or sense of decency, he has lied time after time. Every problem is of somebody else's making drink driving, fans behaviour, players leaving, players injuries etc. He used his kids as a human shield at a press conference and now he has a ninja.

He is the willing, overpaid puppet of a group of shysters and scumbags who is fully aware of his role in the degradation and pillaging of Rovers, because of all this I will never trust this turd of man and cannot wait to see the back of him and his employers.

What he said! Don't trust him & never will!

I think you are all missing my point. I'm not expecting much of a change at all. Negligible in fact. I'd still be interested to see it.

Don't go there,

coco will spin it as a positive

with braddock passing on the info to him

I wouldnt sack him now. I'd let him go at the end of the season. A bit pointless to do it now

I agree , counterproductive to sack him now but at the end of the season get rid , which ever division we are in ..

I agree lets reset it. However since I cannot do this I have deleted my vote and pondered things. I believe he's now dropped to 33 for and 600odd against.

It's about quality not quantity.

25 points from 28 games would have seen us some way from safety in most seasons. The return is utterly unacceptable, so Kean still should go. If he actually ever gets our points total above 1 per game, that might be the time to reconsider.

According to the numbers I see, it is 33 for Kean and 917 against.

I would be interested in a new poll after the last day of the season.
