Venkys - "We have no plans to change the manager. Steve Kean is a good man and will deliver the goods." #brfc @granadareports

Ah, p*ss off, Venky's.

All this 'good man, positive man' b******s means nothing when you're rooted to the bottom of the table.

Bad luck?!

I might lie my way into a job that I'm clearly not competent at it, then whenever any questions how crap I am at my job, I'll just say that it's all down to bad luck.

I think deluded doesn't even do justice :angry2:

Just how I feel about the whole scenario [without the smilie, I might add].

Another +1 from me to you Topman.

The best way to have Kean removed and only way its going to happen, is if people attend March tomorrow, There will be no more ptotest after this one and if numbers are not good then they will brush it off.

I beg and plead with all fans who want Kean gone to join the March. I have always been against protest and to find mself now being part of organising one just shows how bad things have got.

Vote with your feet, by not Kean wins and once again fans voices are unheard.

It's as though Venky's and Kean are both saying to the fans "We'll face you down, even if it means us going down".

Goons, both of 'em

Exactly. They must not lose face, even if it ruins their investment.

Where's that pillow, I'm either going to scream into it, or smother mesel.

Sorry Den - but what would you have had him say ? We are about to play a huge match - would you think it wise to undermine the manager at this stage - or even undermine the confidence of the players ?

I can't see how - only hours before a match - the Venky's can say any different.

Kean: "Look at Jason Lowe who will play tomorrow (on Saturday). I have a 16-year-old (19) who is like Steven Gerrard at his age."

A young Gerrard, a young Batistuta, a young Rooney, a young Irwin.

Crazy man.

Unless he turns out to be right then genius!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It is interesting - if it had been any other manager we would be applauding him promoting youth, giving them a chance, building them up giving them confidence.

They just shouldn't say anything. Why comment now? If they back the manager it makes the fans even more upset, if they undermine him obviously that has a detrimental effect on Kean and the squad. It'd be better for them to just shut up and not say anything, nobody trusts a word that comes out of their mouths anyway.

How about they tell the truth for once in their lifetime.

Something along the lines of "we all know we haven't been playing well and neither the performances or results are acceptable to the manager, the players or the owners. We have to realise that we are already in a relegation fight and we have to realise that sooner, rather than later".

You know DMTP, something that proper football people would say.

Or, night before the game, say bugger all to Granada fecking Reports!

Jeez - they get called for not talking to the media - and now are wrong for talking to the media.

My big worry about tomorrow - I can't see how post-march the anti-Kean chants will suddenly stop in the ground and be replaced by chants supporting the team. I place the responsibility of ensuring that the chants in the ground are pro-rovers (rather than anti-Kean) at the feet of the people organising the march. Whether we have the mythical "twelve man" or have to play with a man down is down to them.

It will be interesting to see what Kean and the Raos say when we are well and truly adrift, needing 2, 3 or even 4 wins to climb out of the bottom three (or even off the bottom) and rely on teams above us to lose while we do it.

No amount of positive spin and clinging to hard luck stories can be used to talk your way out of that situation. No statements like "he's a good man and he'll turn it around" type quotes from the Raos will suffice.

At what point will Kean's grating SEM-coached lip-licking bulging-eyed facade of positivity crack?

Sooner or later something has to give. If he stays this will happen and it won't be a pretty sight.

No, they got called for not talking to the fans, and the LT etc early in their ownership, when they managers and executives were leaving.

Now they are never out of the media, which after all is the whole point of this venture for them.

Considering the latest media flop from Venky's think they are bit jealous its kean getting all the publicity and not them, after all its all about Venkys getting publicity football is secondary to that .

Perhaps they will get all the publicity they want in a few games when we are still adrift at the bottom.

We have a young team - so lets tell them they are in a relegation fight after only 4 matches !
