They might be young , but not thick , they can see that for themselves

We are one win away from tenth - with a little bit of luck we would have had that against Everton.

I am concerned about our position - but mainly because of what went on last season. Talk of relegation is a little premature - though I will easily concede that we need a win quickly.

Just watched the interview with Venky no.2

It seems all our problems are down to bad luck!

Oh well - that's ok then!

I honestly don't think they care about the results. IMO they want their publicity and then bale out and recoup their investment.

It's now even more important that the fans get down to the protest march tomorrow.

Least BBC Is covering the March, and Kean out campaign, I will be on NW Tonight at 6.30, Forgive my dress but been on a course all week and was doing a physical today so had to dress in tracksuit

Venkys message was two fingers upto supporters and should the worse happen and we lose tomorrow, i'd advise all attendee's to stay in the ground after the game to voice their opinion.

Venky's at the game with all their friends and by doing that for 15 minutes from your seat at the end of the game it will hammer home the message

There is a minority of "drifters" whose opinion changes from game to game. But overall, the numbers are unanimous. If given the choice, I think at least 2/3rds of Ewood Park would want him gone yesterday.

2/3rds of Ewood based on what ? Looking at this forum at the moment is a bit like going on Trip Advisor.

Oh dear. It's not Steve's fault, he's a nice man. My heart is sinking lower than a worms belly at all this . 25 years dedicated to the Rovers and we're being torn apart in 10 short months. They are standing by this man, even if it's to the detriment of our club. I can't take much more, the worst bit is that it's all their own doing.

Problem is they won't be able to recoup their cash if we get relegated.. especially if we do not get ol' Jnr to sign a new contract.

Thought you were more sensible than that.

Irrespective of how you think the rest of the season will go, you cannot be in a relegation fight after four games

You can certianly see the signs. We have a manager that can't win matches, who's point tally both this season and last is relegation form, why take the risk with said manager?

When would you consider it a relegation fight? After the Arsenal game.. Newcastle.. or maybe Man City?

It's not inconceivable that given the up coming fixtures we will be on 1-2 points after 7 games of the season..

The contract that was going to be signed within 24 hours over 2 weeks ago. Yet another example of the bs and contempt for the fans emanating from the club.

I place the responsibility of ensuring that the chants in the ground are pro-rovers (rather than anti-Kean) at the feet of the people organising the march. Whether we have the mythical "twelve man" or have to play with a man down is down to them.

That's a ridiculous statement. For every one person marching there will be 14/15 people of the silent majority that still want Kean out. Those protesting prior to the game may well support Rovers through the 90 mins, there is nothing to stop the other 14000 voicing their displeasure. It's a democracy for Gods sake.

Edit: Thanks Mark

Believe me roversmum, things were far more vitriolic in the 70's with Jim Iley and the 80's with Bob Saxton. On both occasions the chairman and directors opted to stand by their manager until fan power forced them to swing the axe. As regards Glen, I don't know if he has a smoking gun or not but for the sake of the club it's better if everything is out in the open at an early stage rather than having months of rumour enveloping the club.

Sadly, our owners are finding out the hard way that owning a football club is not a walk in the park. The buck stops at the top and that's Mrs. Desai and her brothers. They need to appoint some old hands to steady the ship both on and off the field. The saddest thing is that we already had those kind of people and opted to get rid of them.

The fact that the owners have spent very little time in Blackburn and made no attempt to get to know the people of the town has not helped them. Their PR has been dreadful and putting Samba up to ask for support, when the player has spent the best part of the previous twelve months looking to get away, just shows how amateurish and desperate it has all become.

Many of us have seen darker days than these at Ewood Park but I suspect that the present situation is the one that will probably do the most lasting damage.

Apart from the appalling results that the manager has to his name, the moment he opted not to apologise for the drink driving episode and attempted to wriggle out of it was the moment that the owners should have parted company. In sticking with Kean they have ensured that any protests against the manager will also, directly or indirectly, throw mud in their direction.

The Rao family may well be decent and honourable people. Not having met them I couldn't comment. However, they are being judged, rather like Steve Kean, on their ability to manage a football club and at the moment they are not covering themselves with glory.

An Excellent post Parsonblue, from top to bottom our club at present is in a dire mess.

Agreed, they have just destroyed the positive 'we're listening' PR spin they've been wheeling out with that interview.

I'm so sure that Kean is problem, look what he is telling the media, young Batistuta's, young Rooney's, young Irwins, young Gerrard's.

I honestly believe that Kean has made such ridiculous promises and unrealistic lies to Venkys that Kean is infact too good to be "untrue".

Kean has created such a fantasy world that I can see in Venkys eyes that they are naive and have fallen for Kean.

It so important that everyone pays attention to what Venkys heart felt yet misguided interview and Kean ridiculous comments in todays press and March.

Everyone be there tomorrow and save our club

II realise it's a little unfashionable to post anything even slightly pro kean on here but.... I feel Kean should be given till the end of november to turn things around. Plenty of time to recover if needed. In my opinion the protest will cause more harm than good at a time when we should be showing unity . Seems a lot on here are far too easily whipped into a frenzy as soon as blood can be smelt .Unlike this board the vast majority I speak to at games and in the pub at matches seem to think kean should have till a bit closer to Xmas and actually quite like what he is trying to to with our club. Shocking???

Dangerous comment, Harford was sacked in October we just survived.

Hodgson was sacked in November we got relegated.

No need to hide at all Mattie, you are entitled to your opinion.

The fact is that by Xmas time we could be dead and buried as a club if matters do not miraculously turn around for Kean. Many are not prepared to take that huge gamble, you only have to look at his awful record since he has been in charge.
