I think it is unfair to sack him after just 4 games, he might not be such a popular manager but he still kept us up last season with relegation threatening over a dozen clubs going into the last weeks of the season. We ended up with 43 pts which is usually enough to keep you certain of survival a few games before the season ends but the league was the tightest it's been in years. Give him 10 games and if we have less than 12 pts then sack him, get a proven man in to steady tbe ship. We have a decent squad and i still think we're better than at least another 6-7 teams this season.

Ye give him 10 more games, then it's 5 in 35.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've said it before and I'll say it again. If Kean were to be sacked, who in their right mind would want to come and work as a manager of an English football club for the naive Indian chicken farmers???????????????

Someone who wants to earn £5m+ over a three year period, with bosses who blindly defend them should they go through the worst run of results in decades perhaps?

If Venky's employ someone, they certainly stick with them. You have to give them that. After all, if Kean goes it's due to fan pressure not because they want rid.

Venky's being in charge has got to be a bonus if you're an out of work football manager. Any half decent manager would have a lucrative job for life under them.

Just to clarify i didn't say 10 more games, what i meant was 10 games played. My bad.

Like i said though after 10 games we should have at least 12 pts if we are to have any chance of a top 10 finish, so if not then get rid. A new manager would still have 28 games to sort us out and sign a few players in january, simples.

I don't normally do the Twitter thing, but saw Jason Brown asking about the march tomorrow and when asked what he thought of Kean he said:

Kean is a good man and he as respect from a lot of the boys there but I think the way things was done hasn't helped

And then when asked by somebody to expand on that, he removed the entire post.

Exactly. They must not lose face, even if it ruins their investment.

Where's that pillow, I'm either going to scream into it, or smother mesel.

We're doooooooooomed! If this is the attitude they have towards the fans then I'm afraid they'll lose out in the end. The team will be relegated, they'll have no prestige, no TV money and no fans!

As for us we'll just have to bide our time hard though that will be.

Sort of sums up the tremblers really doesn't it! :glare:

Quote from Den -'It's as though Venky's and Kean are both saying to the fans "We'll face you down, even if it means us going down".

Goons, both of 'em '

Nothing like basing your opinions on facts!

So from what you say we have to get 11 points from the next six games. That means winning at least three of them. Kean has only won five from his last 25. I really struggle to understand your logic. Do you seriously think we are capable of that given our fixtures?

This 10 games nonsense is a figure plucked out of the air, a nice round number.

Mattie - Whilst I fully respect your position, what makes you think that Venkys will get rid of Kean in November, if they are refusing to consider it at the moment?

I reckon the decision will be made for them if we are still not getting results after 10 or 12 games. They are business people and will be wanting to protect their investment regardless of how much they might like kean.

"trembler"!!! What a bloody idiot!

If you'd been born earlier you could have played in that band on the Titanic.

Keep thinking nothing's wrong right up until the end.

Errrr.....

the tremblers - whatever they are - have consistently told you since three weeks into Venky's reign, that the club was heading into very troubled waters.

The deniers have consistently argued that there have never been any problems.

Hmmm.....

There is a clear distinction to be made here:

Those that have whipped up hysteria based on rumour, heresay and clear agendas (wanting Kean out before his poor record)

And those who have formed their opinions on footballing matters, and have demonstrated a little patience and foresight (not all pro Kean)

Please don't be offended by me calling you and your guard tremblers. My intention is not to offend, just to open your eyes.

Likewise I'm not offended by you labeling me an idiot, because I possibly am. However it does not prevent me form thinking things through, and stepping back from the flames now and again.
