@bwalmsley2357 New ... Whether it is a good or bad thing only time will tell. Going to cause some debate.

Great just when things were looking up

You have to give credit where its due.

I am no fan of his but he did well yesterday. Everything came off for him yesterday so good for him.

Wonder what the odds are for yakubu to start the next match. Kean normally dosent pick the goal scorer from the last match.

A lot of PR stuff going on from the club. Where Kean is concerned, that has to be down to his agent doing the work a dn setting up interviews etc for him.

Yesterday was a great result and Kean's passion was commendable, He must have felt under all sorts of pressure with the Protest, media coverage ect. This has been brought on by results, If he had been any other manager at any other club, i'm pretty sure the feeling amongst some fans would of been the same.

I still don't here Steve Kean's Blue and White Army on Ewood which to me is a better indication of fans opinion as its a song we have always sung about all our managers. My opinion has not changed, and I would be thrilled to have it changed if he can produce a chain of results, Which gives me something to look forward to.I have never liked protest and to be part of one, must have put me in a state of mind of pure desperation. Football has always been pretty much part of my life, My spare cash and time goes on it, as I spend hours every week talking about football, before spending plenty each weekend by seeing my team play.

This week I have alienated the very people I love, and respect, which is my wife and children because Blackburn Rovers and organising a protest March has taken all my free time. My youngest daughter of three , who has just turned two has being crying for my attention all week to clour with her, or play in her tent, or just spend a little time with her.

My wife who I married in May this year, Has spent each evening on her own, and had to go to bed alone, only to awake the following morning to me still being up, and getting ready to go to work.

I thought I was a decent person because family values have always been what I have based my life and goals on, but this week I have seriously let them down because I feel my football club has let me down and I wanted to tell them so.

Why I have taken football so seriously over my family is unforgivable, and i'm ashamed today that my families life has been turned upside down, because of football.

If the club cared about its fans as much as we cared about the club, then I would never have had to result to drastic measure's.

I'm pleased we won yesterday, but still have serious concerns, I can't help the way I feel, but its what it is

Then I suggest that you get given a weeks ban on here. That will give you the time to go and take the wife and Kids out, spend time with them etc.

New coach I think

Or renaming ewood park - in order to get some money in for january.

Definitely a PR charm offensive so regardless of what we fans think of the situation, Kean clearly rates himself as highly vulnerable still.

I also do not think he is out of the woods yet. One swallow does not make a summer.

PR meltdown as if we have won a trophy!

Fair enough, may as well milk it.

Obviously, it will be interesting to see if this match was the turning point.

I keep hearing that only 250 people turnrd up for the march so Kean has the backing of the rest of the crowd. I think the most damning message to Kean and the owners was the crowd. Only 22500 to watch Arsenal! Makes a mockery of more people wanting to watch top teams. The crowd are voting with their feet and Kean and co need to heed that!

The sceptic in me says it is his agent pushing these interviews, knowing Kean is to be sacked. Which would make to club /owners look bad after having beated Arsenal.

Not saying I believe that.

But it is amazing the amount of publicity the club has been getting this weekend. It made no difference how many or how few the numbers on the protest march were. Every single media outlet has taken up the fact that many Rovers fans are not happy with Kean and his record since being the manager. Kean must still be under pressure, hence the amount of publicity before and since the match yesterday.

Typical of Sky to mock the fans though, as they did - yet again - yesterday.

To be honest, as much as I do not like Kean being the rovers manager. I won't put down the attendence yesterday down to Kean. The match was on TV and it was a match that had an early kick off. Some fans may have had to work the morning, take the missus shopping, kids to their friends etc etc. Also bearing in mind a lot of Rovers supporters travel well outside the Blackburn area. Driving up or travel by train would have meant an early start, no train connections.

The financial climate at the moment also has a say.

Kean is, in my opinon, responcible for a lot of bad stuff at the club, but not everything.

Crowds are down 3000 this season. That's a fact.

I'm not being funny Glen but what will this achieve ?

Kamy has already done an interview with Kean and asked the questions we all wanted to hear I really don't know what else needs to be said.

I disagree, Kamy asked questions like "do you think the budget was more less or just about right"

Glen would say as he's seems forward "you said it was the best budget in years yet you spent minus 10 million on paper" which is what most wanted answering.

If this question was answered and explained it would get a lot of people off his back (plus a few other questions I can think of)

This would be great for Kean long term, it would really get fans off his back if he answered some tough questions and kept up results.

Kean's relationship with the fans is very stained.

Mass respect if it happens.

Crowds are down in league matches around 3,000 on average. With the Tory cuts in full swing economics are a factor but the negative perception of the owners and the manager and the poor signings in the transfer window are the principal cause. Kean should take this on board rather than just dismssing the protest march - the fact is Rovers fans have been voting with their feet. More humdingers like yesterday might entice a few back but only if Rovers win - a few high-scoring home defeats and crowds are likely to sink further.

Have we not already established this is because of the overdraft being paid?

I think Nicko and a few other ITK confirmed this.

I thought Kean came across well, as he always seems to. Maybe this is why he is so happy to fly to India all the time, he always seems so convincing...

I think Kean is being very badly advised by Paul Agnew to carry on this belittling of fans who are extremely unhappy with his managerial term.

We have had three big (by BRFCS standards) polls with over 600 individual votes in each of them in which Kean received about 12% of the vote to delay the sacking- the other 88% wanting him out immediately.

Even after the Arsenal result it is still going 66% sack now and 34% think about it/ sack later. In other words, Kean has recovered to Ince levels of unpopularity!

This perpetul knocking of the fans will inevitably mean that when the crowd really turns, Kean will have made things much uglier for himself.

The second big mistake Kean is making is his big hug with the Venky's. Even now after such a long series of Venky's balls ups the emphasis is on Kean out rather than outright hostility to the ownership.

Needless to say, the tighter Kean has himself identified with the owners, the more they are getting sucked into Kean's unpopularity and the more discordant their relationship with the fans is likely to become.

Tory cuts? Do me a favour!

Yeah good point about getting fans of his back I think that would be a good thing but I just want results now, we know he can talk the talk its time to keep getting results.

I think he deserves credit for speaking to Kamy and going on SSN. I think he is on radio lancs on Wednesday as well.
