Yep.

I'm pretty close to giving up. It seems the owners would sooner have the club relegated than sack Kean. What a sad situation. I've been supporting the club for close to 20 years and I barely recognise it now, I'm sure plenty of others are feeling the same.

I believe it's called "Blind Faith" the same thing they had in Kentaro too.

All this positive spin for me is for 2 reasons: 1 Hes frightened of coming out and telling everyone what they saw was really true and that we were sh!te for fear of upsetting the players by criticising them in public and 2 as soon as he starts saying we were sh!te in public then the owners might start realising that the fans were right all along which would mean they might get rid of him.

I may well be wrong but to come out after the Newcastle game and say that the game hinged on the decision to allow the 3rd goal to me smacks of a deluded fool when eveyone can see that we were by far 2nd best throughout and deserved absolutely nothing out of the game

As I said before, I have a feeling the Arsenal win will end up either having a neutral, or more likely a negative net effect on our points total this season.

The extra time this will have brought him will, IMO end up adding up to more than three points lost.

The Arsenal win has sent us down.

It meant there was no point in fans arguing amongst ourselves as Kean made himself unsackable once again. It is incredible that so-called Rovers fans were on here crowing after the lucky win against Arsenal. Real fans now know who are those who deserve to be listened to and those who need to be ignored.

This entire thread is a joke.

He's going nowhere. Nowhere, nowhere, NOWHERE!

Live with it.

Get him out now, no more excuses, after the excuse that was supposed to be a performance today.

I'm going to a funeral this week, for someone who was a genuine Rovers fan for over 50 years (RIP Gordon). His last match was the Arsenal win (watched on TV), I'm sure he loved it, but he wasn't fooled and wanted Kean out still, until he passed away last Sunday evening....all the family and HE was appalled at what is happening.

Have the likes of Roversmum, Tony DiamonD Inc and the others been in here?

They like to give it out after a win but you never see them after a loss..

GOING DOWN, GOING DOWN, GOING DOWN...

GOing DOWN...WE ARE GOING DOWN!

Let's embrace it instead of being cowards and pretending to fight it.

As things stand, we won't make 20 points.

I don't think that kean is unsackable. The Venky have supported him and allowed him to bring in his own players. You could argue that supporting your manager is a good thing. This said at some point this support will go. They might not understand football but will understand the cost of relegation. City will be that point. If we are 3 down at half time the crowd will turn. At the moment we haven't heard all the crowd shout for him to go. once the majority of fans are against you it is only time

It's true we haven't though just before the first Arsenal equaliser the rumblings were beginning to grow. Objections could clearly be heard in the JW and from the BBE. I feel that goal saved Kean from the crowd turning on him.

One worry I have is Venkys, should they decide to sack Kean, show no sign of having an idea of who should be approached. Do it soon and we have a chance, wait till end of October and we could be dead and almost buried by then.

As much as it galls me to say it he is going nowhere (in my opinion). The main reason for this is that our owners are completely clueless. They have strung us along since they bought the club making wrong decisions, poor PR, cosmetic excercises etc. My patience with them is really running out. But the fans who have met them tell us they are really nice people..................

The only hope we have is that the new people we have in senior positions (sorry but I really can't remember their names) have enough football nous to see what is really happening.

On the other hand any win yesterday would have put us level with QPR. a win by two clear goals and we'd have been 11th!!!!!!!!!!!

That's almost Keanspeak.

We didn't win, we can't have a debate unless we deal in facts.

Sadly I don't think Venkys have available money to sack him appoint a decent manager - any top manager would of course cost money to employ (plus their staff).

Kean won't be going anywhere anytime soon, cheap option who Venkys have their full trust in.

Venkys were paying money in an attempt to try and create some structure at the club but time and time again they are put off, from paying big money, for the best staff.

Kamy has said on twitter that venky's PR have said ' kean will be judged on results and last night was bad.'

according to kamy the reply has always been ' kean retains the support of the owners.'

That to me is a definite shift and the fact that they have been doing their homework with regards names for a new manager leaves me clinging to something for hope.

Man city next week could be the final nail in the coffin.

could we not organise a mass petition where people put some details and a comment about kean to show people that its not 1% who want him out, could then send this to venky's?

I don't care if I get flamed for this, but given the choice between a loss against City next week and a draw, I would pick a loss.

There's no doubt in my mind that if we lose (and Kamy is right in suggesting Venky's are changing stance on Kean) then our points tally come season end will be higher by virtue of getting rid of Kean earlier.

I'd still pick a Rovers win over either, but that's not gonna happen. City are in prime form.

Can also see myself jumping for joy if Rovers snatched a late goal and made it 1-1 for example, but that would subside once reality dawned.

Agree. Never wanted Rovers to lose before but in the scheme of things if it got Kean out the door then I'd take it. TBH I think it will only happen if we get done by 3 or 4 goals.

International break after city, 2 weeks to appoint someone who can sort us out defensively before QPR.

The 6 week period starting with QPR sees us play QPR, Norwich and Wigan away, we can't afford to lose any of those games if we are to stay up...and lets face it SWP will tear Givet a new one, whilst Barton will boss the midfield :-(

Kean has to go. I have tried giving him time but the obvious flaws in his approach are getting worse not better. We cannot keep the ball, we have no midfield and yesterday we didn't even have the attacking edge kean has supposedly given us.

I would not mind so much if I could see at least some improvement or a sign he wad trying to address the issues but all I can see is the same old dross and kean seemingly confident that one day it will all click into place.

Watching rovers and kean is like watching the chuckle brothers just without any chuckles.......
