I wanted both Harford and Hodgson to lose their final games and they did, got sacked.

I don't want Kean to lose at Man City because to win we would have to be BEYOND amazing.

I expect to lose, if Kean can beat Man City then respect.

Most likely he will get embarrassed.

I'd be happy to win, if we must lose maybe an embarrassment might push him.

Is this poll going to be reset every match..win one lose one..Christ this is getting rediculous.

Don't worry it will protray an average, I thik its quite interesting how it spiked last week.

We need to win one next or the graph will become flat.

I don't care if I get flamed for this, but given the choice between a loss against City next week and a draw, I would pick a loss.

There's no doubt in my mind that if we lose (and Kamy is right in suggesting Venky's are changing stance on Kean) then our points tally come season end will be higher by virtue of getting rid of Kean earlier.

I'd still pick a Rovers win over either, but that's not gonna happen. City are in prime form.

Can also see myself jumping for joy if Rovers snatched a late goal and made it 1-1 for example, but that would subside once reality dawned.

Couldn't agree more. If we'd got a pasting against Arsenal with the protest happening he may have got one last chance, then yesterday would have got rid of him. Instead we're going to have to waste atleast 3 more games before he goes.

All those criticising Glen and the protesters after the Arsenal win should be looking at themselves long and hard - you're all partially to blame for this being allowed to continue.

He's got to go.

If he were in charge of any other of the Venky's key businesses, he'd have been given the flick ages ago.

Come on Mrs Desai, realise it's not working and do the right thing to get one of your key businesses back on track. You have to realise, with some businesses it's easy to resurrect through sales, with football, once you're down a division, it takes much much more to back up.

So Mrs Desai, rid the club of him, get someone with some football nous.

Poll's a bit lopsided at the moment. Assumedly that will change, as those who voted last time to "give him more time" were talking about 3 - 4 more games and it's only been 1 so far. Surely their minds wouldn't be swayed so easily by a single result!

Meanwhile I've voted the same as always, out.

Here is what she heard:

Basically we were doing extremely well until the sending off. Holliet scored a fantastic goal, and then a Newcastle player fouled our defender. Its clear to everyone that this is bad luck. All the fans were singing my name, I have 99% backing.

On a side note Mrs Desai on the coach we played your film "India Thriller" to the players and they were most impressed with your production, some said it was better then Michael Jackson orignal, this leaves the players in NO DOUBT that you really know what it takes to make a GREAT film and sign up a great manager that reflects these standards.

Chris, in other circumstances I'd LOL at that, but things are a bit more serious now.

I can't think of the last time I felt so down about the rovers, even when Ince and Kidd were here, as we had JW in there.

Perhaps the last time was when Johnny Carey left.

edit: another time was the 1960 FA Cup final debacle.

My post it not just LOL though, I'm certain that Venkys are buying his bull, that how he got the job and that is what he feeding them still.

Hence he will not be sacked before Man City for sure, if ever.

Although playing India Thriller to the players might not be totally true.

cant believe anybody is voting to give him more time, i can only assume they didnt see the full game(or any other game this year other than the few we won by luck)

, we were pathetic, the formation and tactics dont work, maybe barcelona, chesea, manu can get away with playing that sort of fluid attacking system because they have worldclass players in every position, but no other team outside those few would even attempt it on a regular basis.

We dont have a single wordclass player and only about 4 really good ones-hoilet, samba, robinson, olson(but only when played on left wing), the rest of are team are average players or young in experianced players(with no quality experianced leaders around them to guide them).

now would be the ideal time to get a new man in charge, only got 1 game in the next 3 weeks and thats against city who we wouldnt be expected to beat anyway(so may aswel have a caretaker in charge for that game and see what happens), 3 weeks is adacute time to get a new man in a settled with time to work with the players in training.

I haven't heard his name mentioned for a while, so let's fan the flames a little bit eh? :)

Yesterday was a magnificent yardstick for measuring Kean and Allardyce.

Last season, after a dodgy start despite a home win previously, Allardyce realised we had to toughen up at the back to get a result. He knew something a bit different was required. What he came up with was a strange 5-4-1 formation that worked brilliantly. It caught Newcastle completely by surprise, nullified their attack and gave us a platform to get a result.

Fast forward a year and the situation was eerily similar. Kean had spoken all week about needing to be harder to beat. His pre match quote on the morning of the game was about needing to strong in defence. The result? The same old 4-2-3-1 formation with the same old error-prone players and a completely woeful performance.

One understands tactics, one doesn't. One simple yet crucial thing that separates the two. And there is no-one on earth that can convince me we are better to watch. Possession stats are heavily against us in every game at the moment, and pass completion % is worse than under Sam.

Whilst voting for this is as affective as voting myself supreme poobaah of Lower Slabobia, my vote and opinion has not wavered from last season. This whole mess started at Liverpool last season and will end in our disappearance from Premier League football this season.

The owners are now a lose lose situation and will do nothing. Kean must know something or have some assurance contractualy.

To hell with all of this.

He has more lives than a grossly lucky cat.

Maybe its worse than that...

He's like Jason or Freddy, no matter what damage is done or how badly beaten, he is there for the next horror show sequel where the body count will be higher and the plot more insanely unbelievable.

:rover: i think this weeks poll should be

WHOSE FAULT IS IT,

VENKYS

OR

KEAN

for those who vote kean, just ponder this, the slumdogs known as VENKYS appointed the guy, only one answer in my book,

venkys out :blush::brfc:

Spot on.

Too much emphasis is being directed at Kean when the real culprits are the Venky's.

Kean's was also saying we will continue to attack teams which could mean we are more likely to concede goals.

When the support starts to sing "you don't know what you'r doing" as they did when Grella replaced Yak, then the writing is well and truly on the wall.

IMO, a mauling next week by City and Ewood will become a cauldron of 'Kean hate'.

The you don't know what your doing came loud and clear over the radio. This shows it is more than 1%. Hate to suggest this, as I am opposed to negative chanting during a match. But chants of KEAN OUT during the match v city, would have most of the crowd chanting it. I do not see any choice at the moment. It is the only way that the message will get across. I hate seeing Rovers lose any match. I expect Rovers to get beat v city, most of us do. It is the ideal match to chant Kean out. I hate saying it, but what other choice is there? Also it is just before the 9 go to Pune as well.

Venkys and Kean have to realise it is not only 1% who want him out, but the majority. That claim of 1% has to be shoved down Keans throat. If Rovers go a goal down next week, even the city fans will chant "your getting sacked in the morning".

Lets be honest, Rovers beat Arsenal 4-3, but Rovers were lucky that arsenal did not take their chances. They should have had a penalty imo. That was 3 points none of us expected Rovers to get. Which considering yesterdays shambles, is a relief.
