It really made me angry when i heard that on the podcast. Sick to death of our views and opinions counting for nothing. I am finding it very difficult right now to feel connected to the club I love, because Venkys and Kean are royally ruining everything. People have been writing to the club for months, people who are passionate and hurting try to do something peaceful to highlight our discontent. He laughed and called supporters morons. I bet he would be devastated if this happened to Celtic/whoever he supports.

Rah.

I agree with ya mate he clearly couldn't give a tos about the fans. I was just trying to say regardless of what he thinks of the fans or how he treats the fans he is a crap manager and needs to be kicked out on his ass.

I don't watch any of his interviews any more nor do I read anything he says. I will never again listen to him speak as he makes me sick. He spouts nothing but lies trying to keep a job that he should never have been considered for.

It's all irelevent anyway, calling people who wanted him sacked morons isn't good at all but not enough to tip the scales I bet.

Roversider wrote: If he did describe some of the Rovers fans morons it is hardly the reason for sacking him, lots of other reasons you might find but a comment like that, come on guys, lighten up. He clearly doesn't understand what a moron actually is after all.

what you have to realise he has called fans who pay his wages who buy merchandise from the club shop tickets for the games deserve a little more respect and I would also not question Glen's judgement either after all for someone as intelligent as him to organise one of the best most peaceful marches with no trouble whatsoever would never make such serious things up. Also you guys go on about this incident about calling people morons but it is not just this incident if we give him enough rope he could hang himself with it

e.g.

1. Perverting the court of justice by lying in court trying to blame Fergie/our fans for his mistakes & then trying to squirm out of it in court.

2. Lying to police & wasting their time covering up for his drink driving mistakes.

3. Being a rubbish manager statistics speak for themselves.

4. Calling a fan a donut towards the beginning of his reign & now calling our fans morons.

the point I am making is quite clear it is not just one incident these are a catalogue of mistakes he has made during his tenure all these incidents put together is what many are furious with and you could also add into that mix dragging the good name of the club through the mud with the drink driving charge & bringing shame to the princes trust who sponsor us this season it is not just one mistake but a whole host with this much amount of rope he could hang himself FACT!

Rant Over!

Can you explain it again glen?

You saw the full interview? Was it not live? Or was this in the advert break?

Sky came to my house last Monday and showed me the interview prior to me being interviewed for the show. It was the full interview and not the snippet you would of seen on Sky sports news throughout the day of him and me talking to Sky,

They spoke to me for around 15 minutes and had me on for around 3 minutes when first aired, and that was cut to about 20 seconds for the rest of the day

Can you recall in what sense or indeed what sentence the word was used? could he have said for example (thought there would have been) more on the protest which on one hearing could for example be mistaken for morons protest Did you ask to see/hear the 'moron' portion again whilst Sky were with you?

I am not defending SK at all just want him ''nailed'' correctly as I find his speech difficult to understand at the best of times.

I bet Maradona has said worse about fans, but I feel like Bryan. This club is losing all credibility and the Rao/Kean axis is turning it into a shadow of a club, a badge of dishonour. If Kean is not given the boot after Man City, then Venky's should be removed by any legal means possible. I can't be bothered with any e-mails any more, the Indians don't give a crap.

Tbh i'm not too bothered what he said, I never posted it in BRFCS someone else did, I dnt think a big issue should be made about it, as its no worse than Kevin Gallachers comments.

He was asked about the protest, where he replied, with a laugh and the words "What the couple of hundred morons outside 99% of fans are behind us"

I only watched the full interview once, and it was through headphones, via the Sky recording camera which had a 5 inch TV viewer on it

Steve Kean's removal needs to be judged purely on his results record, not his personality, personal life or throw away comments. I have been called much worse, and its water off a ducks back to me tbh

Thanks Glen. I agree with you that he should be judged by results - and would add that he should have been ''well gone'' by now. Mind you if he called me that to my face he'd be eating his haggis through a tube :rover:

If I were the chairman Glen, I would be concerned. Concerned enough to at least take him to one side and let him know in no uncertain terms that the fans have been around Ewood park for many years prior to him being here, will be here after he's gone - and are the lifeblood of this club.

You have reacted very calmly to it Glen, especially since your organisation of the protest was done with so much planning to avoid being seen as just a bunch of 'morons'.

There are two ways which to look at SK's comment:

1) He believed what he said to be true - a scary thought and possibly shows how completely deluded he is

2) He lied to laugh off the protest

I don't know which is worse. In both cases it is yet another example of him having ZERO respect and empathy with the fans.

I'm watching Dragon's Den...and I find myself thinking about the entrepreneurs who go on the show and try to convince the Dragons that their rubbish product is actually a revelation and despite poor sales figures, claim it will be a success if this and if that....and I find myself thinking about Steve Kean. Except Venky's aren't The Dragons as their knowledge of their investment is proving to be quite inadequate...anyway to sum up, if Venky's were the Dragons they would invest in Steve Kean's product. And indeed they are.

I think that made sense.

i've reached the point where I no longer read much on here or post myself. I just visit occasionally to see if he's gone yet and if so who is coming in to replace him. The only matches I've seen so far this season are the wins against Arsenal and Orient so I can't be too rude about the team or the way he has them playing, but it's definitely time and past time he was gone - I'd have sacked him after the Wolves game at the latest.

I never thought I'd hate a manager more than I hated Ince... but yeah, I think Kean's just about there.

Steve Kean is not Blackburn Rovers, he never will be. He does not represent the fans and he does not represent anything good about the club. He only represents everything terrible this club has become since the Indians set about destroying it.

Disillusioned doesn't even begin to describe it.

Even after the Arsenal game a significant majority wanted him gone. presumably the waverers had got carried away with the euphoria of actually winning a game. like many others I dislike him on many levels and although Ive wanted managers sacked in the past, I've never been as angered as I am by this guy. The pressure will keep growing and I expect Saturday to hasten his demise.

I just hope that the fans that are not happy with kean being Blackburn Rovers manager make themselves heard and voice their displeasure instead of sitting there not saying anything, venkeys are supposed to be there again in some capacity and they need to hear how unhappy the "minority" are.

just hope people start to be more vocal on saturday showing their disconent WHEN we lose, otherwise nothing will happen, i will be singing 'kean out' all through the match, no matter what the score is, if by some miracle we snatch something, we cant let that hide the fact that kean isnt up to the job, will just mask his many shortcomings ie the arsenal game.

as somebody correctly said on here yesterday, we will not get thousands marching, but we can get thousands singing "stand up if you want kean sacked" or "you dont know what your doing" inside the ground should we collapse (which i think we will) against man city at the weekend.

thousands want kean gone, however only hundreds publicly showed they did, so Venky's weren't unduly concerned. WE MUST SPEAK IN THOUSANDS AS ONE VOICE.
