  1. 1. Should Steve Kean be sacked

Recommended Posts

Kamy you added a "not" in the other thread, and its missing on this one "not certain".

Which is the real slim shady?

Big question is if Rovers lose and the crowd turn against Kean on Saturday will he survive? After what I have been told this evening I am not as certain as I was this morning that he would survive.

Sorry, what I meant is that this morning I was certain that Kean would survive regardless of the result on Saturday, but after what I have been told this evening, I am not as certain as I was this morning about him surviving regardless of the result on Saturday.

It's been a long and frustrating day. I long for the day when we can get back to concentrating on the on the pitch stuff rather than off the field issues.

Key part of the article say:-

Sportsmail understands owners Venky’s are running out of patience and will soon decide whether to sack the Scot or give him one last chance by appointing a new No 2.

Very interesting. I think if we lose on Saturday I think he will be gone.

interesting Kamy, does that mean the mood is shifting, and I guess it needs to shift with Mrs D more than anyone...........................if we do manage to win on Saturday, then Kean uses another of his nine lives; wonder how many more that pussy has left to take................

Clearly, Kamy is the 'ghost' scribbler !!!

If he has'nt got a no 2 in before sat and we lose again he may well be gone himself this is how I am reading the situation.

Although questions still linger as in why JJ was sacked now? Did Kean fall out with him and sack him without the owners consent? Could he do that? If the owners sacked him why do it now if they intend on getting rid of Kean too?

Sometimes it feels like the brothers run the show and as soon as they go away for a few day's Mr's D has a play with her FM reality gameshow and we see a complete shift in thought.

Kean must be removed and a good manager needs to be appointed and that should just be the start of the turnaround, we need stability and we need it fast.

So that is linking O'Neill as the no 2 or ?

Just sack him ffs the only help he needs is his payoff, O Neill would be fine on his own especially with the squad we have, he plays counter attacking football with pacey players which we have.

Why is Kean unsackable? what do the owners think they owe him? he has had his chance and blown it, it's not complicated or is it?

At least we as fans and most probably the players would have a lot more confidence in Martin O'Neil than Stevie blunder.

How on earth can Kean be a coach who is classed as coaching coaches after the rubbish hes served up for the past nine months at Ewood Park - No wonder British football is knackered.

What a ridiculous article. As if O'Neill would come in to play no2 to Steve Kean. There's more chance of me getting the assistant's job than O'Neill even considering it.

with O'Neill as manager with Kean as number 2 or sack all together.

I would prefer O'Neill with his own number 2 and keep Bunskill and Mimms on the coaching staff.

I'm not a big fan of O'Neill but he would do a good job here.
