Tense nervous final, congrats to the Kiwis by far the best team in the tournament. However, got to say they got every single call from the referee today. I saw 3 high-tackles none of which resulted in even a penalty against them, and we saw replays of most things apart from the tackle where a french player got a knee in his face.

Agree, the AB's do get away with a lot.

I thought they started well and dominated the first half, but the French came back well and probably were the better side.

having said that, the game has (must)to encourage running Rugby. Whilst it's good to see great defensive efforts, backline movement is terrific to watch, especially when a try is scored.

Matt, What's the difference between Union and League?

Union can muster more than four teams for a world Cup.

the AB's had to win it, anything less would have been a national disgrace, good on the French for going all out though, I was hoping they would win just so I could watch the faces of all my kiwi/samoan/tongan mates but so be it.
