Malbranque would be an awesome squaddie for us! I guess as a free we'd also be able to register him straight away.

Was he released before the end of the transfer window? If not, Prem teams can't touch him.

I dont think we really need anymore attacking players, ive always rated him though, remember him ripping us to shreds at ewood aroumd 5/6 years ago.

Also said in recent interview the reason he quit St. Etienne so soon was because he has no motivation. Not the type of character we need now. And would he even be interested?
