Dunnfc Posted September 11, 2011 Posted September 11, 2011 Only turned 31 and one of the most underrated players in the PL, released after one game at St Ettiene. I wonder if keano will use his fulham connections where he once coached him to tempt him here. Malbranque would be an awesome squaddie for us! I guess as a free we'd also be able to register him straight away. What do you guys think?

MarkBRFC Posted September 11, 2011 Posted September 11, 2011 I dont think we really need anymore attacking players, ive always rated him though, remember him ripping us to shreds at ewood aroumd 5/6 years ago.
Billy Castell Posted September 11, 2011 Posted September 11, 2011 I think he's been anonymous for many games at Sunderland over the last few seasons, with the occaisional good performance.
Seggie Posted September 11, 2011 Posted September 11, 2011 He retired to care for his son who has cancer.
Hughesy Posted September 12, 2011 Posted September 12, 2011 Id rather re-sign Tugay than an average sunderland midfielder who has done nothing for the last 2-3 years.
Pitty Posted September 12, 2011 Posted September 12, 2011 He is a free agent because his son is really ill and he wants to spend quality time with him. Football takes a back seat, fair play to him.
Pitty Posted September 12, 2011 Posted September 12, 2011 He doesn't have a son. Yeah your right, just checked. Some tit on twitter making rumour about son up. Anyway he is not good enough for Rovers, end of.
tchocky Posted September 13, 2011 Posted September 13, 2011 Also said in recent interview the reason he quit St. Etienne so soon was because he has no motivation. Not the type of character we need now. And would he even be interested?
