Miker Posted November 2, 2011 Author Posted November 2, 2011 You can be sure that there will be plenty of teams interested in him come the end of the season if he continues at his current level. He's not a top 4 level player yet, but I would say he's already showing the quality to be a regular RB for a club like ours. I'm sure he'd make it in a team like Swansea, QPR, Sunderland etc. as well. When Jones was first discovered people were highly impressed by his ability to completely nullify Drogba when we played Chelsea. I think Lowe has done a similar thing with Bale against Spurs a few weeks ago and that alone is impressive. He still has plenty to learn, but he's definitely good enough IMO.

RibbleValleyRover Posted November 10, 2011 Posted November 10, 2011 Starting for the under-21's tonight against Iceland.
Tony Diamond Inc Posted November 10, 2011 Posted November 10, 2011 I've seen enough to believe he has the attributes to become a very good player. I also agree he has a lot to learn, but he does seem to be ever improving, so...fingers crossed!
Hekla Posted November 10, 2011 Posted November 10, 2011 I was very impressed with him when I saw him in action for my first time at Ewood this season against Chelsea. He is mature and likes to make a tackle, he doesn't show fear and this is great for young guy playing in defence. He will be a favourite if we can keep him after being relegated.
Muddboy Posted November 10, 2011 Posted November 10, 2011 After seeing him tonight playing in centre midfield for England, I think he's much better at right back. Doesn't seem to know where he should be in the middle and was very ineffective. Not what I was expecting.

OJRovers Posted November 14, 2011 Posted November 14, 2011 Well done to J Lowe in getting another start for the U21s Good to see a Rovers player getting recognised for England, he's only young too for the u21s
Majiball Posted November 26, 2011 Posted November 26, 2011 Lowe wants to follow in Phil Jones footsetps by Joining United so he can play for England
Torgeir Posted November 26, 2011 Posted November 26, 2011 Lowe wants to follow in Phil Jones footsetps by Joining United so he can play for England Where in that article does he state that he wants to join United? It says he wants to follow in Jones' footsteps and play for England. Modern footballers have ambition - instead of making their current club good they want to join a club that's currently better.
