Surely, some of the players must be up for a change of manager. Or is it the fact that with Coach Steve Kean, they will get praised for what ever they do in the game, and they get a bit careless. There is simply no dicipline! Very worring.

We need a strong leader who makes the players afraid of underpreforming, rather than dont really give a s**t =/

Have to say Glen, your efforts here are just incredible! :tu:

I wish so badly that I could join this march. I hope everyone who lives nearby and has the chance to join this march, does so. Please step up and show that you care about your club!!

If Venkys want the fans behind they have to appreciate that they have made mistakes, both in PR and in running the club, since they took over. To acknowledge these mistakes and then say they are learning and ask the fans to back them again would be a good move. However the biggest mistake they made was being influenced to replace Allardyce with putting an unproved, first team coach as manager of an established Premiership football club. Time has already proven the mistake. Stubborness is the only thing stopping them admitting the mistake.

Venkys - The first step on the road to redemption is righting your biggest wrong.

Spot on Hasta.Venky's must acknowledge and look to correct the mistakes THEY have made.We are primarily in this situation due to their nieveity.

The biggest step they can make right now is to intall a proper and experienced manager at Ewood.

Kean:

"I spoke with the owners yesterday. As always they gave me their full backing and said, 'If there is going to be a demonstration, don't worry, we're fully behind you'.

AS IF THE FANS OPINIONS COUNT FOR NOTHING! :angry2:

Seems to me the club/owners are on a pr offensive this week. Clearly rattled IMO.

Sorry Big Chris, you wanted out 6 weeks ago...head not in right place etc - team captain!

However, nothing in the release mentioning Kean again...

As an aside - regarding the end of the protest - finish outside the Blackburn end - make any statement Underneath the stand (pictures of R Clayton). That way the focus is away from the J Walker statue and on the ground itself?

I love how Samba who must of read what the march is about does not come up with a single comment backing the manager.. *chuckle* I would of half expected with this PR punt him to of been told to come out and back the manager.. can't help but get the feeling deep down that Venkys and now Samba talking in the press but no mention of Kean is them starting to take a step away from him, Keans own article is almost the opposite view with him failing to see that the performances have been poor (and I put Everton in there as we played well but failed to score, failed to keep a clean sheet and lost) but Venkys admitting we played poorly.

I normally hate Kean inteviews, hate them lol

But I'm very pleased with two things he said:

1) he is disappointed about the protest, this has changed from "it doesn't make feel bad AT ALL 'smug haha'"

2) He address the fact the protest is about and not the players, I thought he would have turned the fans against each other, but he clearly stated the fans protesting are behind the team.

First Kean interview in a long time where I have not felt insulted and he has come across emotionless.

An improvement from last week:

An improvement from last week:

His none verbal communication and the words he speaks say two different things.

For a start, the guy asking the question doesn't say... "Does it make you feel bad?" He says... "How does that make you feel?" It's Kean who says... "It doesn't make me feel bad at all." That suggests to me that "feeling bad" was on his mind. The interviewer didn't actually ask that and for me it was a bit of a drop of his guard.

Sorry to go a bit Derren Brown there but for me, he's definitely feeling the pinch despite his bravado.

Yes it does.

As a matter of fact it is a far bigger sample than is often used to create statistics.

When you see:

90% of women think...

65% of Preston fans think....

The sample is as low as five people.

A percentage this high suggests that it is extremely unlikely that it is a minority of fans that want Kean out.

There has been more than 1 poll on here, another by BBC Lancs, all of which come to the same conclusion.

That means the polls are of a very good statistical significance.

Far more so than many of our everyday products advertised at the cost of millions of pounds by companies.

Wether the march should go ahead or not, its a massive majority of fans who want him out.

EVERTON H ?? LAST SEASON WOLVES AWAY, BOLTON H, ARSENAL AWAY, CITY H

so we didnt play well in those games...now ??

Its a little like throwing a ball at cans, if you throw enough you will hit one now and again, four games in twenty odd are hardly great stats and we almost came unstuck against Wolves through our bad shape and discipline.

Given there were decent games, Ince had one or two also, but most managers dont get so long to find a good performance which was a reasonably consistant Premier League team up to his tenure!

see, I didnt need rolleyes either to make my point!!

Hmm . ever thought that leaving Kean's name out is deliberate for another reason ? A section of fans are directing everything that is wrong at Kean's door - if you are trying to promote harmony amongst the fans - you deliberately avoid mentioning what they are aiming all their anger at.

He wouldn't be human if he didn't feel under pressure.

Here is a FACT. But for a 12yrd shot at goal being 1/2 an inch off target in the last home game the 'pitchfork brigade' would not be out on the streets tomorrow.

Come on ES.. thats your opinion, not a fact!

But we are bottom !

I know we are bottom ... but the point I was trying to make are how fine the margins are at this stage of the campaign. Individual mistakes in games are amplified and distort the table with so few games played, plus I don't think for a second that the team he put out against Wolves was his first, second or even third choice.

Do you honestly believe that if Rovers were sitting reasonably pretty at 11th in the table that there would be a march tomorrow?

Also hypothetical as we are not, and also pours water that people are doing it just as hatred against Kean.

If we where sitting comfortably in 11th it wouldn't really be much fan issue would it?

However, we are not and are not even sitting comfortably at the bottom ie its only early in the Season and people cannot/do not see how we are going to get anything much from our next run of games - considering the average teams we have just played and registered 1 point with arguably 1 acceptable performance (Everton) - and tie this in with what happened last season, the rubbish he spouts and to add insult to injury his dd situation/inclinations and his dismissive nature to the fans.

Rovers fans are well known for being grumblers and not action takers - so what do you think it is that has forced there hand to do this?

Not sure if this is relevant - aren't you a member of the FF - do you have an agenda of some sort or do you genuinely believe he can lead us to better things. You are normally a good poster on here but I don't see how your comments justify against the demo.

What's the rumour doing the rounds now...anyone marching tommorow will be banned by venkys! Wtf that all about? Surly it's just a rumour!

I dont think they could afford to lose anymore fans, if they banned the people who attend the march they will only find loyal fans without a game to go to who will end up outside the ground every home game.
