the last protest after the everton match had 1 ONE drunken druggie ranting.

Couple of my mates saw him, word has it he posts on here

They taste good though, especially with a nice Diane sauce

I really like my beef with some farva beans and a nice bottle of chianti......oh wait hang on, thats how I like to eat my human liver. Always getting them mixed up.

So do we think we'll get more down than me, some old chap and his dog singing anti-Kean songs?

Numbers wise I mean, I realise that the papers are saying 1000 strong but surely that's an exaggeration?

Forget the rest the singing dog would be enough to make headline news.. :)

Where will you be at 11.15am?

Are you on it? Watching it? Or having a bacon butty at home? 

Couple of hundred tops I'd say, but the work is done, the media have picked up on the current plight, so job done.

But I thought the job of the protest was to get Kean the sack?? If only 200 turn up, the protest will be dismissed as a minority, Kean will say that most fans back him etc. The job is far from done. Truth will be in the pudding tomorrow, but I have feeling that a lot of "Sack Kean camp" who support the protest will be sat at home / in the pub getting ready for the game, hoping that others turn up.

I have already stated that I don't back the march, think Kean should be given a few more matches but respect people's decision for doing it. Given the effort that Glenn has put in which can only be applauded for the passion he has shown for the cause, putting aside if I agree or not then hopefully people who have jumped on the lets go on march bandwagon don't let him down. However with comments like "job done" people may back out and not bother leaving it to others. If you are going back something then back it to the hill, not thinking that the press is now involved so the job is done.

I've just carried out an interview with Blackburn Rovers owners Venkys - some interesting comments on Steve Kean. Details to follow #brfc

Blackburn Rovers owner Venkatesh Rao says Steve Kean will not be sacked. His job is safe. See my interview on @granadareports at 6 #brfc

just listened to the steve kean podcast, it has changed my opinion of kean as a person(hes not the Antichrist after all!!!), but still everything he said has just reaffirmed mine(and most peoples) belief that hes just not a manager hes a coach(and seemingly a very good one), but when it comes to picking teams and making decisions once the games kicked off hes just not got it ('it' being the special ingredient that separates being a coach from being a manager).

The march does seem a bit harsh and premature now to me(and i don't think it will sway the venkys decision anyway), i think the results and performances over the next few games will make the owners minds up and i still expect a new manager in by October.

Its up to him to prove us all wrong and start getting results, now(starting tomorrow).

Will be on BBC Northwest tonight at 18.30 if you want to tune in, If you want Kean gone we need numbers tomorrow to show that that some fans want Kean out, Please vote with your feet,

I will be there about 10.30 a.m, good luck everyone

cant see anywhere near a 1000 turning up for the march to be honest, its just not in the nature of people around here to go marching around the streets even if they do 100% support the cause, wouls be a nice suprise to be proved wrong though and would show blackburn fans in a very good light if there was over a 1000 there and behaving themselves!

i hope people's determination hasnt waivered post chuckle brother interview, im more determined than ever to go on that march to get rid of baldylocks.

Not sure if this is relevant - aren't you a member of the FF - do you have an agenda of some sort or do you genuinely believe he can lead us to better things. You are normally a good poster on here but I don't see how your comments justify against the demo.

It isn't relevant. Football matters are strictly off the agenda for the Forum ... instead we busy ourselves with far more mundane matters such as should fans be allowed to 'smoke' electronic cigarettes in the ground! Besides I think at least one of the Forum members was talking about attending the protest.

To be fair, given the general tolerance of Rovers fans, (no disrespect intended) I think that anything upward of 500 would be a great turn out. May only be a small % of the overall fan base, but bigger clubs would probably only generate a similar pro rata turn out (see Everton who have 3 times our fan base).

I think that some people were beginning to think that the protest had made its point following the 'We're listening' PR spouted by the club this week...

The Rao interview has shown that to be more lies. If I was undecided...I wouldn't be after that. :angry2:

Please make the effort - it's only a bit of rain! We stood on open terraces for years :brfc:

edit: Nice one Yoda - couldn't think of the right word

I really think you should change apathy to tolerant, dont forget we have had a long spell of relative success,

something that if you supported from the 70's was never expected

I really hope that enough people turn out tomorrow and Kean is sacked, however I feel we are stuck with him for the foreseeable future which is a horrible thought, fingers crossed for tomorrow.

Remember that Newcastle fans protest(21.01 2006) against Souness and few weeks later he was Sack (02.02.2006)

WHY WE CANT DO THE SAME!!!!!

lets hope that marching give start to sack Kean

When counting the turnout, why don't you use the guy who counts the Dingles away following, the march would then be at least 5000 strong?

Although I fully support the march the most important thing for me will be the attitude of the players today.

Will it be a sleeves rolled up, fight to the death effort similar to the back end of last season or the tippy tappy, back-heeling show boating, never mind proper defending we have seen so far this season?

I feel this will define the attitude of the 17,500 Rovers fans inside Ewood Park whose opinion will ultimately be taken more into account than a few hundred well meaning demonstrators.

The first option will be supported - even if things start to go against us.

However, if Arsenal go ahead and we are witnessing option two, then I'm afraid Mr Kean and the owners will need a very strong tin hat indeed!

 Funny how their home crowds never mirror their supposed away crowds aint it? Their fans must be as eager to get out of Burnley as everyone else is.

I can't make it to Blackburn today unfortunately but I hope it all goes well and enough people show up to make it the newsworthy event it deserves to be.

I'm still a little uneasy about the idea of this lot having to replace Kean without a clue, but he's got to go.

After watching the ITV interview yesterday with Venkatesh Rao, I think the march will be completely futile...

I think he has compromising pictures of the entire Rao family (or Jerome Anderson has) and Hell will freeze over before he is removed from his post as Manager of Blackburn Rovers.

You might as well all get yer clobber on and stand under the shower for twenty minutes.
