Once again well done to Glen especially and all involved but today highlights the problem with protesting pre match.

Having won it's now pretty easy for Kean to dismiss it amd the owners will possibly agree but whilst the result is fantastic it doesn't change all that much.

The Drink Drive fliers were a massive mistake.

These changed the message of the protest from disatisafaction of the results and management to something far more personal. 4 of us were going to take part until I saw those and we weren't the only ones.

It will be interesting to see the view of the papers tomorrow...the BBC has already had a pop.

Well guys Thank you everyone who turned up, the Police hampered things a little by trying to speed the March up from set off until the end, but the Chief Police co-ordinator of March who oversee's this type of thing all the time said

"There was about 700 who marched, Well behaved and good spirited"

I echoe this, I met some wonderful supporters today who walked hand with toghetherness, It was not CHAVS as one Venkys plant has posted, but was filled with people from all backgrounds, races, nationalities and ages.

Some supporters eve flew over from Norway to be at the March, That shows dedication in wanting our club to be the best it could possibly be.

There was lots of BRFCS members in attendance and it was nice to put a face to their user name, and these where certainly not idiots or uneducated individuals, these were genuine fans with concerns.

People from all industries I met whilst I Marched, including Teachers, Solicitors, Individuals who own their own companies, Directors of companies and I even spoke to a doctor.

In and around the ground individuals who are employee's of Rovers also applauded the motion to march.

The March was ended at the Blues bar, where we had a minutes silence for Jack Walker as an appology for the previous protest which was shameful, however it was the non Marchers at the ground at the time in the back ground who showed their colours by totally disrespecing the silence with shouting and talking throughout.

The Fans who wanted to put actions behind Steve Kean's removal voted with their feet, whilst the one's who stayed away will not have another chance.

The game itself was entertaining both teams could not defend but Rovers looked good going forward, It was a big big three points, but one game does not make up for the previos 9/10 months.

Keans comment of 99% of fans supporting team during game was a dig at the Protest March, As he was trying to say that those who marched did not give their vocal support for the team, which is one step to far IMO, I sang my heart out for 94 minutes and backed our team, as did everyone who was sat around me, I never heard anything bad pointed at anyone on the pitch. That in my estimation is Kean alienating the fans who dare to speak!!!!!

I put an open invite out to Steve Kean today at 4pm through Talksport to agree to meet with fans who protested(He was in studio), to share their concerns but he has not responded. This once again shows a lack of respect for the club's supporters, and only fuels my opinion he should be romoved.

Once again Thank you everyone who today did something to try and make a difference, and despite the rain turned up regardless

I was never in favour of this but each to their own. I must say though, I hope the turn out puts some perspective in the minds of some supporters when they questioned why the media was saying "a small section of Blackburn supporters" are protesting against Kean because although many on the internet are consistently anti-kean - many more can see that he hasn't had much luck and it is simply too early to sack him. Like it or not Rovers have 4 points from the last two games so their is no way on Earth he is getting sacked this month. Against Everton we were massively unlucky not to take all of the points too so as I keep saying, things aren't anywhere near as bad as people make out. In fairness he hasn't won enough games since he has been in charge but last season is history and I don't fear relegation in the slightest and expect us to finish between 8th - 12th this year. I also predicted 22 points by New Year and I stand by it....so 18 to go.

It was great that the supporters were together during the match and really got behind the team, that's what we needed more than a protesting dog!

Anybody who has criticized the current manager / regime and who lives locally and did not attend (without a damned good reason) then shame on you.

knob head.

maybe most people just think that if venkys do replace Kean it will be because of they think its the right decision not because a few hundred people where chanting "theres only one jack walker", how was chanting that relevant to having Kean replaced and how the f was that supposed to help things(unless your aim is to antagonize the owners).

My mother has recently been diagnosed with cancer and is currently undergoing chemo, if I could have attended I would have.

Glen, good to hear the march went peacefully. I saw Kean's comments as well, clearly doesn't give a fig about the fans but then the owners say he is 100% safe so why should he?

Singing for Jack Walker was nothing to do with the protest.

Criticizing people for chanting for Uncle Jack makes you sound a bit simple.

Not every song had to be anti Kean

I wasn't able to get there today but was with you in spirit. The slimy donut has to go and the protests must go on. The question is 'What is the next step'. There must be one but I don't know what it is. Are there any ideas?

Not sure how I feel about Kean having a sly pop in his interview, on one hand it's unneeded and unwise but on the other hand should he have to be nice to people rallying for him to be sacked?

For one night I think he may be allowed to feel a little smug.

A protesting dog? Very poor turn of phrase. And pretty insulting to a group of people who stood up to be counted for something the believe in.

Hope you never need any support for any cause you need to fight for, Pedro.

Well done to Glen for organising the march. At the very least, the owners know that the fans will not simply roll over, no matter what.

There were so good signs on the pitch today, notably Lowe (at full back), Simon, and Yakubu. It will be interesting if we maintain that kind if performance. For once, Kean can actually say it was s good performance.

Interesting indeed, BPF, he had indeed bought himself more time today - always seems to get something even the owners are in attendance.

Definitely given people something to think about, and we have regained 3 points that we previously dropped.

One game does not solve our problems and I refuse to join those fickle types whose opinion of Kean swing on each result.

People standing up for what they believe in should not be mocked though...

Don's see what else can be done Al, with this result I can't see Venky's sacking him before Christmas.

We just have to hope we aren't too far adrift with our difficult run in, otherwise a managerial change in January might be too late.

If I was Steve Kean I'd be feeling very smug right now.

The protest was a stupid idea and I hope the idiots that took part are feeling a bit silly after a mini rally against your manager.

You wanted him out after 4 games in charge, and I don't want to look at his stats last season.

These are his signings, these are his training methods and tactics after 1 full pre-season. He needs time, and today proved that.

He got the tactics spot on in the second half and his post match interview shows that he does know what he is doing.

Rochina, Hoillet, Formica, Yakubu and Dann were all very good today. Did Big Sam have anything to do with these players? NO!

Get behind him and the team and let's climb that table.

common sense should have told you it was poor timing, and considering it was an ANTI-KEAN MARCH then yes all chants should have been aimed at kean  .

Yeah I totally agree especially after he apologised publicly for doing it and trying to wriggle out of it by insinuating that Rovers supporters spiked his drink and originally lying to police, oh wait he didn't, a fine example to all young Blackburn rovers supporters , drive down the motorway at 90 mph , over the drink drive limit whilst talking on your mobile phone.

I've been as critical as anyone about what he did and how he tried to get out of it but that's a separate issue and was nothing to do with the protest, it was a very petty and pathetic dig that looks very bad for the march.

Idiots? (Please don't use that word again) off.

Why do you not want to hear about last season's stats? Because they speak volumes. It's a ridiculous that people are saying: "They aren't his players" and you know why? Because he was their coach. Kean already knew the players. We beat a poor Arsenal side and all of a sudden Kean is a good manager? Just because he does well in one game does not mean that he is a good manager. His record speaks for itself and if you chose to ignore that you're the idiot.

I actually thInk that the protest today provided some much needed motivation to the players. The atmosphere in the ground, even at 0-0, was the best I've seen this season.

The usual apathy and we might simply have rolled over. The only player whose head looked like dripping (in the first half) was Givet - and he was soon put in his place by Robbo.

Ironic really that the protest may have had the opposite effect to that was intended.

At the end of the day though, everyone involved wants results and success for Rovers do on that score it was a good day all round.

No, you base everything on this season. This was his first full pre-season in charge, he has had a chance to make his own signings and implement his style of football.

We had a sticky start to the season, but it did not merit a protest.

I think he was referring to the tv coverage showing about 5 fans, one of them was walking a dog to boost the attendance

Only an idiot would protest 4 games into the season asking the manager to be sacked.

Last season was not his team, he did not have the final say on Sam's signings and I doubt he had very much input in the players that came in during Sam's reign.
