I'm sorry but Glen's TV appearances and his 606 appearance have almost turned me against the Kean Out brigade.

Unimpressive to say the least.

To backtrack and start saying the protest was about "lack of communication by Venkys" flies in the face of the pledge that it was a single issue demo, simply aimed at getting rid of the manager.

The fact is that a couple of hundred doubtless well-intentioned berks made complete tits of themselves.

To do it before a match was stupidity. After a defeat, fair enough, but you were always likely to have egg on your faces.

No wonder Jason Roberts and his mate have such an easy ride with the degree of inarticulacy and lack of ability to engage in a meaningful debate among our self-appointed spokespeople.

Listened to a little of it on 606. Roberts and his mate shifted the goal posts - "What about when we stayed up last season when 4 teams could have gone down. Why don't we get any credit for that?!"

I was just waiting for the caller (Glenn or Tom, can't recall which) to say "Well, Jase, with where we stood before Christmas we shouldn't have been down there come the end of the season! Your best mate nearly took us down."

It appears that if nothing else todays march is flushing out the odd few misguided souls who religiously vote pro kean on the polls. Can somebody jot em down?

Yes you can note me down and my pro kean votes. Now is not the right time to change manager, i see some people noted good performances from Yakubu, Dann and simon. All exciting prospects brought in by kean. Im not saying Kean is awesome as there have been some selctions in previous games that i questioned but him and his signings need to be given time to bed down and show us what they are capable of.

What you actually have, is a large number of fans that are judging his reign and saying 'no, Kean is not the man for us', others that are in the 'give him more time' camp and a large amount in the middle that make their decisions game by game. If Arsenal had have won 3-0 today, those fans would have got vocal against Kean, we won, they go home happy and think no more of it.

There are times Theno when you show a sign of Mcarthysim with comments like that.

I have no problems with people marching today, not my choice though and I suspect that what everyone is, is a Rovers fan. I am not a blind follower of Kean but I see no reason to be equally blinkered in hoping for his destruction if it means damaging the team.

Whatever people may say he appears to have the support of the players, when I have been enthusiastic to see a back of the manager they have had poor results combined with a clear split with the players. A good result today doesn't convince me yet of the former not being true, the stats don't lie, but he definitely hasn't lost the team yet.

Of course, I may be just one of the 'few' misguided souls by your definition. However I actually couldn't give a 'bleep' what you think, so jot my name down too.

Thats a bit unfair? I answered questions which were put to me, and I maintained in all interviews it was based on results since he became Manager, I could have easily put personal opinion into it but chose not to.

Self appointed??? Don't understand this comment, I was asked by a number of fans to organise something, I have always maintained this was the fans March and others will confirm that I have pleaded for others to help and do these interviews and appearances, because I have

1. Not organised a leader lead March (It was always a team of fans march)

2. Been to sleep since Last saturday due to being on a course all week and taking exams on this course.

I have done far too many interivews with press here and abroard and with help from others on here managed to get some others to do some too.

I'm just a fan like everyone else nothing more, nothing less, I did not like the experience of having to talk to the media, or having to juggle my personal life, including my wife and children to organise so much in such a short space of time.

There was objectives which needed implementing in this March to keep everyone involved happy, press releases to be written and sent out.

I asked for everyone to be one voice, today it was really scary having to give instruction before the march started to try my best to make sure it was done peaceful. It was also difficult at the end to do so. I felt quite embarassed, as I don't work in media and don't work in a public speech environment. This was something completely out of my comfort zone which I'm sure others who I spoke to about getting help would confirm to you.

I have also had to suffer many personal attacks and intrusion into my personal life, by trying to do something which fan's asked me to.

No-one had to listen and no-one had to come, but for you to just take a mindless swipe, after the work which has gone into this from everyone to ensure it went off incident free and everyone was kept nice and safe is quite insulting

Why do people have to resort to personal insults like tits and idiots?!

Just because their opinion differs from yours doesn't mean that you are right, everybody is entitled to their own opinion and why this can't be expressed without the insults is beyond me.

A fantastic result today, but one win doesn't make everything rosey again, we need to go on a run with a few wins, with home games against city, spuds and chelski nxt that ain't gonna b easy.

Personally, I'm still very much for replacing kean with an experienced manager, but with more results like today I would be persuaded otherwise, but we need more victories.

You definitely deserve a pat on the back for keeping it incident free Glen and whilst I don't agree with it I thoroughly respect your work. As you say we didn't need to come and most of the fans didn't.

You are fully entitled to your views, no law against that. I don't think it embarrassed either the club or you but it certainly didn't influence me either way.

Glen, you do not need to explain yourself. Not to me anyway.

It takes a lot of determination, time, effort and balls to do what you've done this week. It's some achievement to hold a rally and have it go off without incident - or being hijacked by some other agenda.

Well done, it's a life-learning experience which you will look back on with some pride once it's all sunk it.

You may not have changed the world, you may not have done enough (the rally in isolation) to have Kean removed but you have stood up for yourself and other like-minded individuals, when everyone else was happy just to fantasise about it - you made it happen.

Don't let it go to your head, and equally don't be down-hearted, but have a beer this evening and look back on today with some pride.

And get some sleep!

Really ? He was the one embarassing himself on twitter last night as well. Also the one with the drink drive posters.

I believe he was actually nothing to do with organising things, but should anything like that happen again, then the organisers need to be careful who they have representing them.

Yeh don't know who he is, but he ranted and raved about drink driving, to which the presenter just cut him off and send that it was nothing to do with his management skills.

The important thing is that the club now know what some of the fans feel. Whether people agree with the march or not, at least the message was loud and clear.

Well done for organising a peaceful protest.

Yeah great job, they know if the board will not demand results then the fans will.

Maybe if Kean had not been smiling/smug and laughing in the press the previous week and bottom of the league, then this would not have had to happen.

After the game Kean's true colours came out he looked like a man stressed and glassy eyed.

I thought his shot at the protest was petty. He can't relate to the fans, but the players worked so hard for him, they could have buried him today.

FFS - whether you agree with the protest or not, Glen and his organisers have shown more initiative and decisiveness in a week than the, IMO, bungling, incompetent Raos have shown in 9 months.

I am certain that in the fullness of time when the warts and all emerge, Kean will be seen for the despicable bloke that I believe he is.

For all those knocking Glen & co, just WTF have you done since our club started to slide abysmally ?

As I said in another thread earlier, gates for our 3 PL home matches so far this season are a massive 6,000+ (9%) down on last season. Tie that in with sponsorship difficulties, available corporate facilities, appalling results and a weak management structure and you realise just how bad things are despite today's welcome result.
