chris Im not making it up. Took it straight from the manager who since he wanted to be judged at uend of the window so far has 4 points in 2 games against a top four champ league team whos bench would walk into our team and fulham away. In that respect we our looking good. IT WAS ONLY 4 DAYS INTO THE SEASON!! WHAT KIND IF OAF WOULD DECIDE THAT IT WAS A GOOD TIME TO BLOODY MARCH!!!

The march was neither "stupid" nor a "failure". If anything, it caused management and the owners to wake up and reach out to the supporters, which they have been very lax about in the past.

As to numbers, I can believe Glen (who has been uniformly forthright) and Sky or I can believe hesfromburn. You lose, hesfromburn.

And what is Kean's position on the drop in attendance?

Good work, Glen, etc. You did the right thing. You saw a problem and you acted. This would be a better world if more followed your example.

King Kenny has lost 2 games on the bounce with Liverpool, I wonder if the fans will protest against him now?

Bolton have lost 2 on the bounce too. Coyle out? When's the protest????

Waste of money printing out flyers, money would have been better off spent in the club shop or going to charity. Waste of police time and my money.

You are a shrewd, shrewd poster, BnWR. Good spot.

I think a lot of fans thought that the protest was about his entire record.

You were part of the team that organised that stupid march and you were one of many idiots that took part in the march.

Kean has had his first full pre-season, his own signings and has now had time to implement his style of football on the team. That was all clearly evident against Arsenal and glimpses was shown in the first half vs Fulham.

He needs time, if the results were poor for the first 10-15 games then yes, by all means have a protest to get him out. To have it 4 games into the season just goes to show how foolish some fans are. Even Ince was given more time in his first season.

I'd agree he needed more time if had come from another club. This was a man who worked with the players every day. As a coach, if he did not know them. Why was he working with them? Last season's near relegation is inexcusable and I cannot fathom out why idiots are defending it.

Hesfromburn cut-out the constant sniping and trying to antagonise Glen Please.

What he helped do had more potential for a positive outcome than a negative one and it's clear as day he has put a lot of effort an emotion into this.

Disagree with it if you will but the constant trolling will get you nowhere.

A nice 300 at the march I could see on Saturday...

Epic success that showed everyone that the polls on this website represent the majority of all the Blackburn fans!

Well done for finally proving a lot people right and that you are in fact a very small minority. :tu::)

So, going into the Arsenal game only a few hundred wanted Kean to leave? Or, is a march ALWAYS going to only attract a few people?

By your logic, if it was a pro Kean march, 99% of the crowd would have been marching down Bolton Road at 11am.

Furthermore, just been reading more comments on the forum and can't believe the amount of insults being hurled at Glen Mullan. Petty and out of order IMO.

I'd echo these sentiments.

For what it's worth, I supported what Glen was attempting. He was on a hiding to nothing, as apathy usually wins out. He had the courage of his convictions and carried out what he intended, so good on him.

For the record: I was all for giving Kean a "full cycle", that is two transfer windows. I've got to admit some buttock clenching moments at the end of last season, but we got there.

The summer transfer season, in some respects, looked good for us, if a little late in finalising a few incomings. However, the atrocious start to the season(and it was)made me question whether Kean was the person to guide the Rovers.

For me, the win v Arsenal has bought him a couple, maybe three or four games. If things don't change consistently, then something has to give, and that has to be Kean.

Not by my logic at all, only a select few want to shake the foundations of the club by splitting up the group and starting all over again 4 games into the season.

That minority obviously are the only ones that are passionate enough about kean and their views to get him out. So by most of peoples logic on here over the past few months, you can quite easily see that these 'passionate' fans are not the majority.

And as people have posted against me on this subject with no basis I too will claim this as FACT!

It was the fans March, freedom of speech and all that. I never organised flyers or content upon them

Freedom of speech is one thing, but hurling insults at the way the manager looks, with the odd racist remark thrown in for good measure did you personally a disservice glenn.

I’ve gone on record several times saying how well you’ve done to create the media attention, but SOME of the marchers let you down.

The result on saturday was fantastic and a bit fortunate at the same time, three points nomatter what the circumstances is the most

important thing. Kean is not out of the woods yet, if he continues to get results we will back him.

Glen did a good job of getting our worries and frustrations noticed especially in front of the owners. At least they bothered to turn up

and even showed some passion at times.

There is a long way to go this season to ensure we stay in the EPL, many twists and turns, we need to get behind the team all the time.

I still think that there are question marks against Keans abilities/lack of experience, time will tell.

Meanwhile heres hoping we go on a long unbeaten run! I wont hold my breath though.

Guest Rovers4Good

The guys on the march did the club proud and i think the point has been made, we want Kean out and no matter what the result on saturday it just gives the man an extra month but let's see what happens after that.

Kean slant was that 99% in the ground got behind the team but i have to say it was more like 100%. Most aren't behind Kean but the fans who were great on the day are 100% behind the team and that's what matters. :)

Well done guys.

Before the march on Saturday I was quite vocal with my opinion(s) on the matter. I was pro march in respect of the reasoning behind it, after all the stats don't lie. That being said, I was against the march taking place as I feared it could attract mindless idiots. As I took my video on Saturday it was clear the march was good natured in large parts and the said people can feel proud of themselves.

What I find appalling is that people from both sides of the fence feeling the need to resort to abusing people from the opposite side. I have felt full force of this over this past week. This only reinforces my stand, that I feel the march was the wrong thing to do at the wrong time.

As events transpired on Saturday, Rovers were fully supported by everyone concerned. And we managed to win. Why can't we all just move on and rejoice in that? People will often have a different opinion to your own. Some people need to learn that, from those who were for and against the protest march. Everybody has the freedom of speech and expression of opinion. I listened to all the arguments for the march and respected each and every one of them.

Let's just draw a line under this whole episode and start uniting as one, no matter our opinion on Steve Kean or the march.

Glen has taken a lot of unfair stick from the sheep on this site. The march was neither pathetic nor unsuccessful. It got the problem onto national television and into the public eye. Kean also appeared on TV and showed the public what a smug weasel he is. How stupidly ridiculous to think he fooled anyone by saying that because only 2% of the crowd went on the march 98% were behind him.

I was not on the march. I had just got back from holiday and the weather got the better of me but I certainly do not support the weasel. There are thousands like me who want Kean out but are not prepared to march in the rain to make the point. How many of you Kean lovers would be prepared to march in the rain to show your support?

The bottom line is that Kean has managed the Rovers through the worst set of results in living memory. Never mind only 5 matches this season. He very nearly took us down from a good start under Sam last season.

He has been a total disaster and is smug enough to think that the majority of the fans support him. No it is the team we support, not you, you idiot.

Well done Glen. You have my total support if you want to organise something else in the future and this time I will be there in person.

I fully agree that Glen has received unfair stick for his organisation of the march. That goes without question. I have fully commended Glen's efforts. All the while sticking to my guns regarding it. I don't condone giving people abuse, especially if they are simply expressing an opinion. Sadly the same can't be said for the small minority of marchers.

As said before, we should just move on from this past week and unite as one.
