Freedom of speech is one thing, but hurling insults at the way the manager looks, with the odd racist remark thrown in for good measure did you personally a disservice glenn.

I’ve gone on record several times saying how well you’ve done to create the media attention, but SOME of the marchers let you down.

Come on Gav, you are not naive to know that this was going to happen.

What else was Glen supposed to do - go around each individual and give them a sweet not to?

It happens at any protest or anti demo in any walk of life, but moreso at Football and as we all know its not needed a protest for Rover fans to do Rovers a disservice (or any other fans to their clubs).

What it has achieved is that it has brought the dissatisfaction of minority/majority whichever side of the fence you sit to the attention of the Powers ( ) at Ewood and given it and the players a kick up the rearguard.

Ironically, as has already been mentioned, it could have the opposite affect to what the intention was with regard to Kean being ousted by not only galvanising the fans but also the entire regime which in my book can only benefit everybody connected to Rovers.

However, one swallow does not a summer make and I nor others I have spoken to are blinded by the 'one game' win.

Glad that's cleared up for all concerened.

Was he any more humble re the protest or was it not really talked about?

He smirked about the turnout arrogantly, which don't do his cause any favours, but was quite disnmissive of it,

He reiterated when he feels the time is right he will meet with fans unhappy but only 1 or 2, as not all who attended protest March

lt this morning says "around 200" so its still embaressing and was cringeworthy Keano is right it was 1 percent. EVERY fan I know was against the march and pro to giving keane time as it was only 4 games In.

I can understand glen getting defensive but it was clear poor turnout to an awful idea. The fact marchers are trying to credit themselves with the win and not Kean says it all...

SK Has cleared the confusion up RE Kamy in the Presser which will be aired later, He said that he agreed to do a podcast to answer some questions about fans worries, and that it was done for an unofficial site. He said that it was not part of the protest, but he had answered fans concerns

Cleared up - Caught Out

I think it should have been after the match if anytime, I understand Glens a nice bloke and wanted to look out for safety, but "if" we beat Arsenal the protest could have been cancelled, it was too much a high, if we were a joke, totally useless and lost I'm sure the turn out would have gone close to 2,000 maybe 3,000.

I doubt if the protest was after the game anyone would have got hurt.

By Saturday morning there are a feeling we might beat Arsenal, the impact of the protest would have been massive had Arsenal won.

Fate has it, Blackburn won and it was an amazing.

I've praised glenn for organising the march, but he was let down by some, thats all I'm saying.

The personal stuff detracts for the cause Capt, the drink driving flyers are a particular own goal for me, but again thats not glenns fault, he deserves nothing but credit for organising the march.

The question is, will they march again before the City game? or is that it?

GAV; I am fully in agreement with you :-)

However many people marched on Saturday [i was standing outside the club shop when they arrived and thought there were around 500 - 600], Kean needs to be reminded, again and again until he understands, that just because 1%, or whatever percentage of an average gate it was who marched, that DOESN'T mean that 99% of Rovers' fans are happy with him.

Sorry Gav, I understand and concur wiith your comments and sentiments on this.

As mentioned, with any sort of demo/protest you always get those that overstep the mark and there is only so much you can do to try and prevent it ( without turning it into a riot).

The organisers are always going to be the ones that get shot down regardless, I just feel the Glennn has been magnificent in his proactive approach in this respect and the way he has dealt in response to unwarranted criticism (and what would appear in some cases downright antagonism) without pettiness or vitriol deserves respect considering what some of the anti's have thrown in his direction.

I just did. 27 posts in 2+ years. You've probably given more minuses out than that in the last day.

You're not trying to trick me into saying---"I do have half a brain, I really do!" are you?

How about a view from you? You love Kean obviously---why?

You detest the march and its organisers-any reason? etc etc.

Of course you have every right to post on here--why don't you use it then?

I agree Capt. I find it appalling the level of abuse from both sides of the argument. I have been quite vocal about my discontent about the march. But it's happened now and we all need to move on together and quit the abuse levelled in all directions.

Sorry, is my rate of posting for the time I've been a member here not up to your liking? I do apologise.

I've not once said I love Kean or anything of the sort.

I detest the march because IMO it's a moronic thing to do when were 4 games into the season, it will just upset the players and backroom team once again. New tactics, new faces etc IMO won't help at this stage.

Is this a good enough post for you? I didn’t believe I had to meet ‘47er’s criteria for posting’ to be a member of this fan site.

some people would say the march galvanised the players. (source Garth Crooks)

Maybe it did, the aim wasn't to galvanise the players though.

It was meant to get our current manager out 4 games into the season, which I don't agree with.

Great to hear from you! I'm therefore able to point out that the protest wasn't about the first four games of the season but the whole period of tenure---the appalling results, the spin, the lies and now the arrogant dismissal of Rovers fans he has a duty to reach out to.

You seem to be saying "he's only had 4 games".

galvanised the players 200 people! haha. People clutching at straws for the march to have ment something or a impact but it just didnt. All of you but glen and usman in particular should HANG THEIR HEADS IN SHAME for disgracing this club. Nothing but jeers from other fans who saw the 10 fans on match of the day and the people on 606

What a joke. 1 - there was way more than 200, 2 - the way the club and sk have engaged with the press and fans over the past week shows that it DID have an impact. 3 - Disgracing the club?!? the disgrace is the way the keyboard warriors come on here attacking people who care about the club and want results to improve. #easytargets

Jeez get a grip man, stop trying to make this personal.

I said people want him sacked 4 games into the season, 'This season' I know your not happy with his full tenure, but 'IMO once again' I dont agree with the protest because of the timing this season.

Steve kean #easytarget

This site has turned into nothing more than a pathetic witch hunt gor a section of fans and that was all the march was.

The low turnout, the personal insult chants the majority of the posters made proves that it was nothing more.

I genuinly felt angry about these people doing this with the timing etc it just didnt carry any substance and if there is genuine time and need to march it will be harder to be taken seriously and organise.

All thanks to a few knee jerkers.

I think the organisers and the peddlers of the march need to hold their hands up and admit they were wrong and stop now trying to claim larger numbers turned up and taking credit for the win. Its embarassing that the man they are so against deserves so much credit for the last 2 results SINCE HE ASKED TO BE JUDGED WITH THE TEAM HE HAS CREATED
