Pune trip

Not going to comment on the rumoured two new directors beyond saying it could be excellent news if it happens the way it should do.

Brum were in such cash trouble on paying wages that they took a deal of Rovers paying 25% cash on a low fixed fee with a very high contingency element (£Xm for picking his nose so many times etc.). That's why it is on the neverest of never never terms- the cash paid to Brum at end August might not even been as much as £1m.

If all the contingencies get triggered, Dann might become our record transfer fee signing.

Something to remember when we are working out where all the transfer money has disappeared to in future windows.

If it's linked to team performance and/or England caps then he could end up costing us next to nothing.

It sounds like good progress was made in the last couple of days, well done to the Pune9 for your persistence. I still think you took a huge risk going, the consequences of which could still affect us all, but given the cards you were dealt it sounds as though you've done your best.

For me the measure of success will be a simple one - if Kean goes before November we can still stay up and the pressure will have been worth it. If not relegation is ours and the trip and the protests were a waste of time. It's up to the Vs now, fingers crossed.

Off-field some signs are encouraging--nice gestures to fans, opening up a dialogue, 2 promising appointments to the Board etc------ but its off-field where 99% of our concerns lie.

These concerns will not be resolved while Kean stays as manager. Its a bit like respraying the car when the engine is knackered.

Agree 100% - however once you replace the engine the respray will be what makes the car look like new!

Kean must go, and then things will look a lot better. Until then like you said, papering over the cracks.

On field is all that matters , I don't give 2 clucks about the team venky publicity band wagon Kean out venkys out.

I'm inclined to agree with you .

Rather than paying for the recent jollys they should direct their money towards Keans severance package...not that the useless tosser should get one.

Guest Rovers4Good

Whoever the fans were that did the Kean Out banner need a massive congratulations. :)

Absolutely priceless and the message is getting through to the owners now. :)

Keep up the good work guys.

"Long-term fan Alan Birkbeck – known as Birdy – has also been promised that Balaji will come and visit him the next time he is in Blackburn to see his one-off collection of memorabilia."

Perhaps he would like to pop round to mine and look at my collection of KEAN OUT and Anti-Venky wares.

He could also gimme some help trimming my Leylandii.

Well since our transfer outgoings were far higher than incomings in that window - that surely begs the question again of where did the money go? If we can know that it went on clearing the overdraft, then IMO fine, but does that meet the terms of the deal agreed with the trust?

I've never been to Ewood, but if the Rao's paid for my trip I would genuinely and honestly turn it down. Never the less, I hope the trip for all those who went were a success. I hope this will move things in the right direction, and hopefully the V's can soon see the light.

Having seen the Facebook pic of the Pune 9's photo with the smiles and coziness with Barry White (get a shave you lazy slob) , I'm now convvinced they sold their souls . You all realise you have posed with the people destroying our club dont you? It's like posing with hitler , it's wrong. By all means go and ask questions but to pose and smile with them grrrrrrrrrrrrr .feels like you've danced on uncle jacks grave IMO.

They are the owners.....Kean should be the target of your abuse.

Who appointed him , where does the buck stop? They have sacked every senior manager? Get a grip hughsey it's down to the venkys!

They came hughsey and promised the earth and delivered nothing Ffs ! Apart from selling players which THEY said we were no longer a selling club! How can you trust an owner who has been to one game in her life ? When she came she didn't have the decency to come out on the pitch , instead she chose to go on camera instead.

Abbey:

Phil Jones was always going to leave. He wanted that step and I can understand him. He is now part of the national team (he never would have been there playing for Rovers). Its the bloody FA's and Capellos fault. All about the big 4 bullshit.

Maybe they are shy owners. I rather want shy owners than Ali Syed bigging himself up every homegame for Racing Santander. He is behaving like he is their god.

IF they sack Kean and appoint a decent manager I think we might see Venky's getting a better reputition and thrust from the people surrounding the Rovers.

Can I just say Abbey, whilst obviously you are entitled to hold that opinion it is nothing at all like having a photo with Hitler.

And Iccers I'm sorry but I don't believe you I think you'd take up their offer in a flash
