I never said I was going to represent anybody but myself ... but I suppose in a way I did represent the 15,500, or so, non-tremblers.

Far too much influence on that trip from people who speak for 5% of the fans. Your arrogance is utterly astounding. You have no wider perspective, in fact you have tunnel vision.

Carry on roaring the team into the Championship.

Ewood Spark, you should probably stop posting and just let this be. You're coming across as arrogant, rude and churlish. You're essentially reinforcing the perception of the Fans Forum members being elitist snobs who have been bought out by Venky's. The other FF members have generally posted with grace despite receiving quite a lot of unnecessary abuse - it'd be a shame for you to undo their admirable efforts.

Only one of the nine is "arrogant, rude and churlish"?

I think the fans forum needs a few more members with these traits before it can claim to represent this message board

Well one of 1 of 9 is slightly less than 1 of 15,500, but hey ho I never was one for math.

So much for presumptions eh.

:rover: how long before the puny nine revert to hindu, and start just eating venkies chicken.they swallow barry whites bull,a few players moan about the fans protesting, probably the ones who would not be here if keano got sacked, and they say protesting is wrong.END OF THE DAY,THE FANS WILL WIN :brfcsmilie:

The support at the Arsenal game was superb ... probably helped by the fact that the 'tremblers' were feeling a little ... er ... under the weather ... let's say .. after their foot stamping escapades in the Monsoon! As I said previously .... if you want to help get rid of SK then protest to your heart content at the Spurs game ... If they lose that game I reckon he is a gonner ( my opinion of course). If you do chose this course of action though, as somebody has written in the LT tonight ... you might as well sit in the Darwen End with the opposition.

Who the hell do you think YOU are to be telling Rovers fans how and why they should behave? Who the hell do you think YOU are to suggesting what makes a Rovers fan and what makes them traitors?

You should be ashamed of yourself. We can't all be bought off with airfares to Pune you know.

Disgraceful.

Well said: this Mr Spark chap should be ashamed of himself, the greedy self centred wally, it is people like him that make the FF a non representative farce.

Resign you ***!

In between all this bickering I would like to pose a question to the Pune 9. I don't think this has been raised directly to any of you.

Each who has posted on here has spoken of their surprise at Balaji's knowledge and passion for the club. It has also been said he said words to the effect "I will not let the club go down."

This isn't to trip any of you up, it's a straight forward question which I guess you must have considered since you returned:

Do you believe what you have heard is genuine or was it an attempt to appease you?

Wow ES, just wow.

You actually believe those unhappy with Kean are a minority of 'tremblers'? That 15500 are happy to clap along as Kean dismantles 20 years of success?

You are entitled to happy clap us all the way down to non league, however, I have an 'old fashoined' viewpoint that means I look out for the club's best interests at all times, not some over promoted bufoons.

And your dismissive attitude is outrageous, I pray that your attitude wasn't the overriding one amongst the 9 over there, otherwise we really are fecked.

ES, you are undoing all of the work Tom and Glenn have done to put right the negative perceptions from fans about the trip.

I can understand your frustration, to a point, and I can understand your blind faith in Rovers (as was) but I can't understand you blind faith in Venkys.

I refuse to believe you've been bought by some international corporate hospitality.

I won't say too much anymore on this trip, because to some of those that went, its become a sensitive issue and they are getting rather defensive. I will repeat what I said, and if the V's didn't pay for this trip, then none would paid out of their own pocket to go and speak to them. In fact, Balaji knew that if fans came over and paid for it themselves, then they could have a go at him and hit with all the questions we want to hear. Our fans got bought, and they fell for it, and now returning with a load of crap and the vision of the owners. We have heard of their vision from the start, and each time they ###### up. Say what you want about me, but I will not change my view on this trip, because the issue at hand is that Kean is still in charge. Everybody can see the frustration of the fans towards the manager, so the owners should see that as well. Our fans travelled to India to tell them the fans are unhappy? Before it was said why don't Kean use Skype or video calling instead of flying to India all the time. Why did the Pune9 not just say, let's just have a conference call Balaji? Bloody hell, its a disgrace that it has come to this, and how these Indians are taking us for fools.

First things first .... The whole point of the Fans Forum is that it is a 'broad church' trying to represent the wide spectrum of views and issues held by the support.

You can rest assured that the concerns raised on this board were aired in Pune .... (I myself brought up the thorny issue of the departures of JW and TF).

The issue that seems to have stirred up 'a hornets nest' over the last couple of pages concerns the nature of protest and it's affect on the atmosphere and ergo team performance on a match day. I want the team to win every match ... and will do all in my limited powers as a fan to help achieve that goal. I believe that if the fans start negative chants early in a game then we might as well gift the opposition a goal.

If and when SK goes it will be his failure to win matches that gets him the bullet ... and here is the conundrum .... do the fans want him gone above winning matches? And it is this last point which I seem to be at odds with the inhabitants of this virtual world ... but not with real people I meet in the real world.

I'm getting a little bit tired of you lecturing people about money and motivation. I think it's time we got something out in the open. I know of at least one , and possibly two other, occasions when you have effectively conned board members out of money by playing on their good nature. The amounts don't appear to be huge but it is the principle that counts not the amount. As I am one of the people who was conned I know exactly what happened. As we are all pretty decent people who try to help one and other when needed nothing has been said about this, other than warning people to watch out for your behaviour.

However I'm rather sick of "the holier than thou attitude" you direct at members of the Pune 9, several of whom are my personal friends. My suggestion to you Iceman is you shut up and don't speak on this subject again

Say what you want about me, but I will not change my view on this trip, because the issue at hand is that Kean is still in charge. Not that you ever think you can take people for fools? As I said above, it's time for you to keep quiet.Or perhaps that should read South African?

Also spark stop being so arrogant! When will you be bringing the BIGOT word into not liking venkys ? You normally do. When have there been any getting on players backs during a game apart from when were 0-4 down? You don't and never will represent me ! So stop thinking your above normal fan status and start being a real fan in thd real world! VENKYS OUT

Its not simply the nature and consequences of protest that's stirred up a hornet's nest------its you with your holier than thou, know all superiority which is completely at odds with your statements.

If you automatically give full support to whomever Rovers employ, what's the point of you going to Pune? A tailor's dummy would have done as well.

Worse, you sneer at those people who have more insight than you and have the balls to do something about it------like Glen who's worth a hundred of you. Its not a virtual world on here-----it consists of genuine Rovers supporters. You are part of a tiny minority

and can't work out why and so you write 95% of the fans off as living in a virtual world while good old you lives in the real one. You should heed what several people have advised and shut up for a while before you become even more of a laughing stock. You're giving the Pune 9 a bad name.

As for Kean, real people in the real world have made their minds up weeks if not months ago on the basis of evidence not some dumb, misguided loyalty you don't come across outside of Downton Abbey. You really think there's a chance of him winning matches on any regular basis?

What planet are you on?
