Tooogs Posted September 23, 2011 Posted September 23, 2011 I personally think James Knowles is the better player but good luck to them both!
Backroom Tom Posted September 23, 2011 Backroom Posted September 23, 2011 I personally think James Knowles is the better player but good luck to them both! Never seen Cotton but Knowles was the worst player on the pitch the one time I saw him at Morecambe. Must have just been a bad day

LeftWinger Posted September 23, 2011 Posted September 23, 2011 The England youth international has even been likened to Steven Gerrard I'm just hoping it's not Kean who's drawn this comparison - Formica/Batistuta, Anderson/Smalling, Ribeiro/Irwin etc.

G Somerset Rover Posted September 23, 2011 Posted September 23, 2011 I'm just hoping it's not Kean who's drawn this comparison - Formica/Batistuta, Anderson/Smalling, Ribeiro/Irwin etc. Dont forget Goodwillie and Rooney. Can't wait until they all click! We'll have a world class team.
John Posted September 23, 2011 Posted September 23, 2011 With the experience of Riberio the new Denny Irwin, hope the rest of league is ready.
Ben-2000 Posted September 23, 2011 Posted September 23, 2011 Good to see more youngsters coming through the Academy
JamieUK Posted September 23, 2011 Posted September 23, 2011 He was involved on Tuesday night against Orient - although he wasnt named as a sub he was out there pre-game & took part in the kick about at half time. Not sure if he was on standby to be in the match squad or there for the experience - either way, good decision.
Andy Posted September 24, 2011 Posted September 24, 2011 I would like to get excited about this lad, but I've only heard bad things about his attitude from people at Brockhall. If it's true, it will need addressing or he'll never reach whatever his potential is.
Backroom Tom Posted September 24, 2011 Backroom Posted September 24, 2011 Just like Jon walters .... Oh wait.... Bit irellevent though, no matter if he was Messi we did the right thing.
