mozsupportsrovers
To the people who think it's made up story This is gods honest truth, why would I come on here too make up a story about Steve kean? I do have better things to do. It all happened about 6 o'clock, and I couldn't post till a bit later when I got on wifi. If you don't believe then that's fair enough, doesn't bother me in the slightest. Me and my friend know exactly what happened and I've tried to report it the best I can. I just wanted fellow rovers fans to know exactly what our manager is really like Cheers Chris

mozsupportsrovers
@jinsty He had plenty of time, samba and Salgado came out a minute or two after him to sign autographs, which took about 4minutes because of the big crowd, about 40 Newcastle fans and 2 rovers fans(from what I could tell) The fact Jensen then had time to get off the coach and answer our questions highlights this. Same with samba. As I previously said, from our view Steve did not get on the coach, I may be wrong.
Andy
What would you gain by making it up?! It wouldn't make sense, don't take any notice of those on a blatent wind-up. From what we know about Kean, this doesn't surprise me at all - he is arrogant and has been quoted as saying that he doesn't care what the fans think about him. Sounds like a man on the brink to me - he knows his time is coming to an end and can't even be bothered to put his 'nice person' face on.
King Kenny's Magic
Mozzsupportsrovers sounds like some ###### taker. You sound like a prick. Why would he make that up? It's not like Kean isn't already massively unpopular is it?
ReganBRFC
Wish I had gone with you now Mozza instead of staying in that pub, mind you I would have done nothing but give him grief! Told you you should have videod it to shut up the fools saying it didn't happen.
onlyonejackwalker
roversmum...."In all truth, the man is probably as fed up as we are with his underperforming team". In response to your comment please note that most of us are only fed up with our underperforming manager. Most knowledgeable fans understand that is is impossible for the players to perform at their best without a decent manager and management structure in place, when confusion, discord and uncertainty remains king. You cannot plame players trying to follow the incomprehensible decision making of a clown and then be suprised when they fail. The team will stop dramatically underperforming when this manager is removed. It really is that simple but some prefer to try and divert the focus off the manager and excuse the blatantly obvious. You have to wonder what games these people have been watching, if any at all. There is nothing clever about missing the bleeding obvious. There is nothing clever about losing most weeks either. For those with short memories please note that we have already lost to Wolves, Villa, Everton and Newcastle this season alone out of only 6 matches played. It remains laughable. I appreciate the Kean supporters do not like reminding of these facts, or any Rovers football related fact under Kean, hey they know them all already thank-you, but in reality there is little else to discuss. (It is an easy cop out to fall back on the 'I am the more patient, rounded and objective fan' to justify alternative views. Maybe they like people to think they have more balance, but in reality people just think they know less).
roversmum
Funny that. I don't recall any manager never having an underperforming team. However, you are absolutely right with your facts, oojw, and it cannot continue. I do believe what Moz says, and I agree it shouldn't have happened in that way, but I can see both sides of the argument. It's not an excuse for it, just the way I see it. It could be that Steve was pretty near the end of his tether and could easily have said things he should not have(not for the first time) and realised that and so held back. Just imagine Warnock or any number of managers in such a situation after a rather humiliating loss, they would have to lock him up for safety! I still think Moz should drop SK a line expressing how disappointed he was.
Neal
I personally know Moz is it happens and I know him well enough to say that he wouldn't make something like this up. If you don't believe then simply move on to another thread. After the Manchester United game last season, Kean talked to my best friend for half an hour outside where the Bburn end meets the JW stand. He seems to be all talk when things go well for him e.g. Point against united and 3 against Arsenal and loves to take the opportunity to be smug. Well done Chris for showing this imposter up for who he truly is. If you do get some feedback from him or the club asking to finally converse with you then... Personally, I'd politely decline and ask for the talking to be done on the pitch.

Neal
He must come out of his shell after a few glasses of wine then eh? Well, funily enough my mate say's he was "surprisingly open" about things (booze?) and that he was talking so much that he was sort of foaming at the side of his mouth, which he said was rather disgusting... Although not as disgusting as what is (or isn't in this case) coming out of that mouth of his these days. I don't like to get personal but his attitude towards fans like myself who protested and Chris brings these feelings out of you. Especially when you know that the club he works for matters more to you than it does himself, like I say he's an impostor, a nobody with no sentimental ties to our club. Saying this makes you wonder why anyone with BRFC at heart would honestly say that he DESERVES more time! Some people need to have a long hard look at themselves. Kean really does need to be careful because with his attitude he may well end up in the wrong place at the wrong time, with the wrong people someday... If you know what I mean. rover1995
Kean is a repulsive human being. I wouldn't normally get personal about players/managers but i don't think i've ever hated anyone connected to Rovers as much as him. He's a Vermin and he's ruining our club. beerwins
He does'nt care at all about fans because he has the owners backing with 100% confidence and that causes his overall arrogance, of course I have no evidence of this apart from what has been said but I see things like this. If you have 100% backing from your bosses and you have them hanging on every word do you need to operate at full throttle? Does your attitude transfer to your employees (players) if you behave in this manner? Do you make excuses about the teams shortcomings or be honest? If you feel you have no-one to fear or answer to your job becomes amazingly easy and that laidback attitude was exactly what we have been seeing with the lack of discipline and the half hearted football on show. Samba was the first one to come out and say that our football has not been good enough so why is it our own manager thinks we have been fantastic? Samba is being honest as we all know but Kean remains the positive figure, the same positivity that the owners really believed, top four, top half , cup win, exiting football, every time it's positive words but less grand as in we all need convincing that good things will come. As a Rovers fan I have always been so proud that we remain in the Prem by fighting hard and grinding out results and I am very happy to call ourselves a midtable team with a good spirit but this season does'nt feel the same. Our owners have been led up the garden path big time and until they are realistic I worry.
Rovers Gals
Jensens response was mainly, "I am not the manager, sorry you feel this way" I questioned sambas leadership since the arsenal talk, he said "I'm trying my best and we are all dissapointed" These were too be expected and we thanked them for at least talking to us. Kean on the other hand was extremely rude and we were left dissapointed. We didn't expect any in depth responses from him but a short talk with us would have surviced. I asked 5 times if we could have 2 minutes of his time, away from the crowd of Newcastle fans. He refused. Worst of all was when my friend said "Steve we are true fans, we are not the protestors, we have spent a lot of money today" His response "oh well" I hate to say this as I was willing to give him a bit more time. Not now. I'm not bullshitting or rumour spreading but just think you all deserve to know what a horrible man we have in charge. Thankyou This has saddened me of hearing of keans lethargy post Newcastle , he could have said sorry lads I'm not to comment or too upset to comment if either was the case .I'm feeling more concerned every match I go and see of late , of information regarding rovers I'm told and hear .are only the fans interested in our club ? It seems so sometimes
booth
Yep, if he'd have said "I'm as gutted as you guys and I'd rather not talk about it" that would have been understandable, and the polite way of conducting himself. If they had a visible camera or audio recorder would he have been as curt?

I think it's time the owners and manager start showing this football club and fans a little respect - there has been no acknowledgement from anyone that results on the pitch have been horrific. It is about time the bulls**t stopped and they start running us like a proper football club again.

PAFELL
Hi, just thought I'd post this as I have been left very dissapointed by this tonight Me and a friend met Steve kean tonight as he exited St James park. We both asked him for a minute of his time to ask a few questions. He refused. His dismay of us both was disgusting. We asked were certain players were and why certain things were happening. Again he blanked us. We questioned him more, not being nasty at all. He still refused. Yet at the same time answering every question by the newcatle fans. Eventually he walked away leaving us disappointed. Then all of a sudden John Jensen jumped off the coach and seemed very embarred for what had happened. He answered our questions away from the crowd and came across politely and with dignity. Chris samba then also came over to us and spoke about the happenings at the club, again we thanked him for his time. Steve kean portrayed tonight the man who is gagged by the club and who is not interested in communicating with the fans. Truly dissapointed Then Jensen leaves today. Is this a coincidence. Price for speaking to fans, crossing kean who did not. Conspiracy theory ?????

I don't believe this is true thanks to Glen Mullan and Oztheman, Kean is scare sh1tless of the fans thanks to their efforts. He underestimated the fan power, which will grow come saturday if we lose. thats why what they did was very important, even the pro-Kean's will learn this in the long term.
