chris
see if the fans sing for the team Kean will say most the fans were sining for us, I think the message needs to be clear its at Kean, no positive songs for the last 15 (if losing) just Kean out and really loud. I dislike Kean a lot less because of the interviews, I learnt a lot about him, I just think he is deluded and this is neccessary. He is the football version of Onkar Judge. I dislike Kean a lot less because of the interviews, I learnt a lot about him, I just think he is deluded and this is neccessary. He is the football version of Onkar Judge. I don't know who Onkar Judge is but I'm sure he'd be a useless football manager! I think Kean patronises us fans. I'd respect him a lot more if instead of doing things like blaming the 3rd goal on Saturday, he came out and was honest and straightforward: "There may have been a foul in the buildup to the third goal, but we were outplayed today. Defensively we should've been better, but perhaps that's because I set the team up to be too open. I can see where we can improve and I have absolute confidence in my players to come through. We will work on the errors over the week and be ready to fight hard against a strong Man City side next Saturday." Fair enough, not many managers would be that honest! But some are, and wouldn't it be refreshing? He doesn't have to slate the players or undermine himself, but occasionally admitting that we weren't the better team and that there were mistakes in tactics or the way we played is not the end of the world. It would show everyone that he knows where things are going wrong and how to put it right! Instead he always insists that we were in the game (even though we often don't look competitive enough) for long periods and that the results will come. Well Steve, you've had 27 matches now and I can't see where they're coming from..... Imo, the negative chants towards Kean will also have a bad effect on the team. We are doing badly at the moment, morale is bound to be low, the players will be affected whatever. Surely the greater good in all of this is just to get Kean removed asap, then we can start heading down the right path. That is, of course, unless Venky's make another bad appointment! (let's not even go there at this stage!) COYB
chris
This Onkar Judge, he is very similar to Kean in that he refuses to belive he is not good at what he does. PEOPLE LIKE THIS REALLY EXIST. I think Kean is just as deluded after some of his comments. Obviously Onkar didn't get the job but Kean did, who's fault is that. @matthewstanger
Wow. That video is incredible! Although, can't help but thinking we should give this guy 5 games at Ewood instead of Kean? haha

Although, can't help but thinking we should give this guy 5 games at Ewood instead of Kean? haha maybe but I don't hate Onkar Judge I pitty him, I pitty Kean a bit now. I really want him to hang himself with results. maybe you turn the back idea is good, but what if only 400 do it, you think thats enough? will some fans understand it, will the press understand it? Where as its easy to sing anti kean songs and 1000 fans sing can quickly get very loud. I wonder how much it would grow?

I can't believe how his results haven't been bad enough for Venky's to sack him already. I think we need a block of at least 200 doing it, that would be enough for a large photo in a newspaper. It's hard to know how many will know about it. Imagine most of the BB end did it, it would look amazing! I'd get it blown up, framed and hang it on my bedroom wall as the day Rovers fans stood united for the good of the team and club. Steve Kean is the wall - backs to the wall! Anyway, how about a banner or two saying "Show your backs to Kean", if we do it 5 mins after half time (as I've suggested in Neal's new thread as then the players won't be thinking about it during the half time talk) all fans should've seen the banner(s) by that stage and when the ones who've read about it on here do it, the rest will follow. I think the glaring contrast with how City do it as a celebration and we're doing it to make a protest will have the papers lapping it up like cats for cream. chris
yeah banners would be great I saw one on TV at forrest saying "sack the board" I think thats what it said. Got on TV though. Wonder if they would get removed.
@matthewstanger
yeah banners would be great I saw one on TV at forrest saying "sack the board" I think thats what it said. Got on TV though. Wonder if they would get removed. It only takes a second for them to be snapped or filmed though. And once that image has been taken and shared in papers, on tv, talked about on radio, splashed all over the internet, it doesn't matter if they remove them because the damage is done! I once had a mischievous idea that you could get a group of fans to head to Turf Moor and sing "Sack the board" just to see if other fans would join in and create a bit of turmoil! Would be funny if a group of Rovers fans created some Burnley unrest.

Ricky
Who's up for arranging a protest in protest of the last protest about glens protest which didn't seem to do the trick. I'm all for a good protest!! Seriously, the opportunity has gone. The press covered the last ons and the numbers were nowhere near those suggested to the press. I dont know whether that's down to the weather, pure apathy of the situation or because brfcs members are the only ones who want kean out. Managers have lost their jobs before the days of the Internet. If things are bad people will make their feelings known, nothing has to be arranged with military precission. perthblue02
Might be a bit too cold at Ewood but definitely a way to grab the media interest, got my attention anyway My link

Steve Kean's Hypnotoad
Great Idea, few conditions: females only too, dress sizes up to 12, topless optional In that case there'll be less than there was at the last protest!
Guest Rovers4Good
I'm with Ricky on this one. The chance has now gone with regards to the protest but some good old fashioned booing with 5 mins to go always goes down well and we are doing this on a regular basis then i'm sure the message will get through.
