imy9 Posted October 1, 2011 Posted October 1, 2011 I would hope to see a 4-5-1 Nzonzi, Pet and MGP in the middle and Hoilett and Goodwillie out wide and Yak up front. Cant argue with the personnel but its the formation and tracking back that concerns me. 4-1 City.

Stuart Posted October 1, 2011 Posted October 1, 2011 Bloody hell! The speakers are loud at Ewood today. Trying to drown out the crowd? It's ear-splitting!
Hekla Posted October 1, 2011 Posted October 1, 2011 Can only see a 4-5-1 in that, can't see Kean being that positive. Goodwillie and Hoilett on the wings, with the three in midfield.
BRFC1995 Posted October 1, 2011 Posted October 1, 2011 we have a number of slow players mixed wth some that have turning circles comparable to the titanic......5-0 city, not a prayer we will score cty have gone with finishers with pace. anyone fancy a game of higher or lower............city to have 70% posession any advance, rovers to have 2 attempts on target i predict
Emge Posted October 1, 2011 Posted October 1, 2011 Lets hope that, if ( ) we do lose today, that 'll be without any red cards, pentalties or injuries. Kean will then give the owners the impression that we were excellent and unlucky. KEAN OUT!!!!!
chris Posted October 1, 2011 Posted October 1, 2011 I'm havong a keen eye on Petrovic, he has to step up we don;t have 89 months for him to settle and he's worse then Andrews at the moment, so hopefully he shows something, anything today.
AllRoverAsia Posted October 1, 2011 Posted October 1, 2011 Man City: Hart, Kompany, Lescott, Zabaleta, Kolarov, Siva, Toure, Milner, Johnson, Balotelli, Aguero. Subs: Pantilimon, Clichy, Savic, Nasri, De Jong, Barry, Dzeko. Bloody hell...................... Lets hope that, if ( ) we do lose today, that 'll be without any red cards, pentalties or injuries. Kean will then give the owners the impression that we were excellent and unlucky. KEAN OUT!!!!! Yes spot on
AllRoverAsia Posted October 1, 2011 Posted October 1, 2011 Man City have dropped some great players Yes - what a bench. The ones coming in aren't too shabby either
Backroom trueblue Posted October 1, 2011 Backroom Posted October 1, 2011 Man City have dropped some great players We are still going to get ripped a new one this afternoon
Dan Posted October 1, 2011 Posted October 1, 2011 Bloody hell! The speakers are loud at Ewood today. Trying to drown out the crowd? It's ear-splitting! They are probably going to do what they did with Ince and play music really loud on the final whistle to drown out the boo's! "booing? What booing?!"
dillo_dillo Posted October 1, 2011 Posted October 1, 2011 Starting Twitter ... I use #rovers and #brfcs today!
philipl Posted October 1, 2011 Posted October 1, 2011 Looks like Bruce is trying to beat Kean to the sack- Sunderland 0 WBA 2 after two minutes.
Miker Posted October 1, 2011 Posted October 1, 2011 Hoilett and Samba are a class above anything we have and would easily slot into any team in this league.
imy9 Posted October 1, 2011 Posted October 1, 2011 Defending very well as a team today, full backs have been getting support today. Aguero looks like he may be coming off!
PAFELL Posted October 1, 2011 Posted October 1, 2011 Looks like Bruce is trying to beat Kean to the sack- Sunderland 0 WBA 2 after two minutes. At least sunderlands owners will act. Rovers owners don't. 22 in that match now.
Andy3809 Posted October 1, 2011 Posted October 1, 2011 We actually look well set up so far. Going to concede a lot of possession but still in with a chance so far.
Lathund Posted October 1, 2011 Posted October 1, 2011 Defending very well as a team today, full backs have been getting support today. Aguero looks like he may be coming off! Looking pretty solid at the back indeed. Sadly that's because we play 9 men behind the ball when City have posssession, which takes it's toll on our attacking ability. Though perhaps that's necessary, their attacking players are scary. Says something when Aguero needs to come off, only to be replaced by someone with the quality of Nasri.
Miker Posted October 1, 2011 Posted October 1, 2011 Team defending well, keeping Man City at bay for now. I can see a 0-0 if we can keep this up.
Backroom DE. Posted October 1, 2011 Backroom Posted October 1, 2011 MGP back to misplacing passes and causing us problems - oh how I've missed him.
Miker Posted October 1, 2011 Posted October 1, 2011 One thing I've noticed is Hoilett is doing a better job of tracking back and defending today, Givet not as exposed as a result.
philipl Posted October 1, 2011 Posted October 1, 2011 Just been given the invitation to shoot 5 chiken (sic) on my screen. Willingly!
OsloRover Posted October 1, 2011 Posted October 1, 2011 Look a lot more organised and up for it today. Was jensen that much of a disruptive influence?
DanielMB Posted October 1, 2011 Posted October 1, 2011 2 days of training doesnt make that much of a difference, but today its obvious that Steve Kean doesnt want a victory. He just want 1 point
philipl Posted October 1, 2011 Posted October 1, 2011 MGP throw for a goal kick. City sharpen it up and Balotelli so close.
