The real bad news is people there were simply not enough people in the BBE who had the b===s to stand up and be counted as a protester so we are not just fighting that person, there are still far to many who have'nt decided enough is enough. Well done to all who stood and made their feelings known shame on those who think like we do but cant be arsed to stand up and chant

No good abusing them if you want them onside, the tide turned today, it is only a matter of time now, the sooner the better obviously

I thought for an hour we were pretty decent. Our shape was good. We got back to defend in numbers, we made it difficlt for them. Hoilett caused some problems on the break.

Then two good City goals killed us, we rallied a bit and then the heads went down after the third.

That said Kean should still go for two reasons:-

1) The organisation was a lot better today. But then you have to ask why were we not similarly well organised in winnable games such as Wolves at home and Newcastle and Fulham away.

2) Alot of our problems stem from just not having the right playing staff. We need better quality in the middle and at full back. We have players who have cost us money (a lot of it when you factor in the agents fees) sitting on the bench - Formica, Rochina and Vukcevic. If the money had been channelled correctly then we could have had a much more solid squad.

Both of these problems lie squarely at Kean's feet - and that is from an objective point of view why Kean has to go.

city were always in control. They just waited for the moment to get their act together. A defeat looked on the cards from about 5 minutes after kick off. They barely broke sweat. The majority turned today just like the Wigan away game for Ince. It felt the same for me and as for those bum lickers on radio Rovers they should be ashamed. Nearly smashed the dashboard in. Well done to the caller approx 5:25 who gave them a hard time and rightly so. Together we will prevail. Its only a matter of time.

have to say as although Kean is ultimately responsible for the teams position and there far has to go asap, It was the players that Bottled it big style today, they should be embarrassed with themselves, as soon as the 1st goal went in they just gave up, pathetic all of them, we need a respected manager in to kick these gutless wonders into shape.

over paid spoilt losers.

As a DE ST holder l choose to go and watch sportsmen putting their bodies on the line for their club and coach (St.Helens v Wigan) and after watching match choice on sky l'm glad l did. You can play a containment game for so long, if you go a goal down having a plan b would be a good option. I wasn't a fan of plan a, Goodwillie on the wing? WTF? Even the commentators noticed this.

Just spoke to the father in law - 50 years a Rovers fan, questioning the fact he got a season ticket this year. I qoute "If we get relegated cos they are too blind to see they put an idiot in charge then they won't see another penny of my money".

So it's off they all go to India to contract some sort of stomach illness and play in a pointless mid-season friendly for the sake of promoting a brand of chicken. I really am at the end of my tether.

that's a good point hardly, we shouldn't let the focus on Kean distract from the efforts of the players today. Not good enough. I can handle a loss when the team has given 100%.

ancient, you nob, i am a season ticket holder in the blackburn end and i, unlike may others, was at the protest before the arsenal game, so dont say i dont have the balls and there were many in the blackburn end who were calling for him beleive me, as for the game, my take is man city were in first gear in the first half and second half when they decided to play, they ripped us apart, all i can say is KEAN OUT!

ancient is bang on, there were plenty protesting, but also plenty shouting it down.

Don't take things so personally.

I was prepared to cut Kean some slack after the Arsenal win but the performance today and against Newcastle suggest he is never going to have a positive effect on the team.

The owners need to be very careful. It's all well and good backing Kean and saying he's the right man for the job, but they also have to look at what he's doing to their investment.

They wanted to make Rovers a global brand and take us to new heights? How the hell is that going to happen when we're in the Championship?

If they want to avoid p!ssing their investment up the wall, they have to act now!

I'd let him take the team to India and then give him the bullet as soon as the plane lands back on British soil.

The next two weeks gives us plenty of time to secure his replacement.

Me too, fella.

Six hours in the car today to watch a 4-0 thumping.

WTF?

Hats off to anyone who had that sort of car journey just to watch that. Then for Kean to spout his usual tat must be like a twist of the knife. :angry2:

A Newcastle fan said this week how awful our full backs are. The worst in the PL. A friend came to the Arsenal game and said the same. We also have a striker who scores five goals a season.

Managers get sacked for playing bad players and nothing else because good players get you up the table and bad players take you down it.. I have said this for months.

Had we had two decent full backs and perhaps a hungry Kalinic or AN Other Kean would have a. Picked up more points b. Not suffered a crises of confidence.

Selgado is responsible for at least 6 goals conceded. Roberts has scored how many in 20 successive games?

Givet is an overpriced centre half at £4m and a shocker of a left back.

Of the top of my head we have spent money in the last 3 seasons. It's just been wasted. £6m Kalinic, £3.5m Formica £3.5m Petrovic £2m Chimbonda £2.5m Goodwille £5m Robinson £8m Dann Vekevic? £4m Grella and high loan wages for Jones and Sant Cruz.

Even the first half was dire. We went in 0-0 but hanging on and hardly troubling them up-front at all. It reminded me of one of the lesser performances under Allardyce. Then came the second half!

What happened to the brighter football we were promised?

"Judge me after the transfer window" and all that! What happened Formica and Rochina taking the Premier League by storm? All we've had since Venkys and Kean took over is empty promises.

And we are going down--------never to return in my lifetime I suspect.

Whilst Plan A worked today, there was no Plan B when City scored.

However it comes to something when you are starting with the philosophy of hanging on for a 0-0 before kick off.

Desperate man, delusional view of himself, now caught in the headlights of reality. Clown.

Things that stood out for me today:

- City played poorly and yet still absolutely murdered us.

- Kean came to the touchline once in 90 mins - got abuse and wasnt seen again.

- On a hot day we only made 1 substitution, and that was while losing - taking off a centre-forward (playing right-wing) and putting on a midfielder. Seemed Kean was happier trying to limit damage, than to change the game positively.

- East Fife 4 - Forfar 3

- Game in Scotland called off due to waterlogged pitch.
