den
Notice anything strange about that side, Den? Yeah, I had Bryan. Strange team all round.
rebelmswar
Yeah, I had Bryan. Strange team all round. I may give Kean some kudos if he fielded two goalies, purely for the hilarity of it.
chris
is it actually legal to field two goalies in one net? Yes and if you have two goalies on they can both use their hands haha why didn't anyone else think of this We need more goalies. Is it legal to build a brick wall infront of the goal, anyone know? Majiball
I may give Kean some kudos if he fielded two goalies, purely for the hilarity of it. Trouble is he'd most likely put one in each goal.

sijoco
Decided to go and watch St.Helens v Wigan rather than move from DE to JWS for the game. The day l pay Venky's to keep that muppet in a job is the day l'd choose McDonalds over KFC (trust me that ain't ever happening).
Hughesy
The thing about this game is that its set up for typical rovers, play well and do well against the big team....Kean gets another 2-3 games out of it. We then go to QPR who we should be looking to at least get a draw with and get beat 2-0!
Myles Anderson
Decided to go and watch St.Helens v Wigan rather than move from DE to JWS for the game. Might be a similar score at Ewood. Myles Anderson
Don't Hughes and Tevez have the same agent? http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/article-2043046/Charles-Sale-Millions-hold-youth-football-feud.html Sky Sports football pundit Mark Hughes, who made an astonishing defence of the indefensible with his lack of criticism of Carlos Tevez for refusing to come on as substitute for Manchester City, just so happens to share the same advisor, Kia Joorabchian, as the pariah player. Similarly, Sky’s Soccer Saturday studio expert Charlie Nicholas has been heavily supportive of struggling Blackburn boss Steve Kean. Both are represented by Jerome Anderson’s Sports Entertainment & Media, who also act as consultants to Rovers owners Venky’s. chris
I think Hughes might be defending Tevez ceause he signed him for 32 million or around that and it looks like he signed a bad apple. He wants the world to think he signed a great player who going through a hard time, rather then a player who is disgracing football. Thats my likely conclusion. Backroom DE. Posted September 29, 2011 Backroom Share Posted September 29, 2011 The thing about this game is that its set up for typical rovers, play well and do well against the big team....Kean gets another 2-3 games out of it. We then go to QPR who we should be looking to at least get a draw with and get beat 2-0! We're not going to win every time we play a big team Hughesy. They aren't all as shocking defensively as Arsenal. City will murder us, and QPR will comfortably beat us as well.
youandwhosearmy
Well I'm going and apparently we don't know how to get a point when I go to games... 3-1 city

colin
Oh come on chaps, let's not be so down-cast and miserable and defeatist. Come on Gryffendor, Harry Potter will save us. Dumbledore will work out something. It'll all work out for the good in the end. It always does in the films! Jason Roberts will score an hat-trick. He's due a goal or two or even three. And in the meanwhile for your delectation.
scotty_beam_me_up
Well at last some good news Ola from Strictly Come Dancing predicted a 4-1 Rovers win just when I thought we had no hope http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/football_focus/15108898.stm

vintageadidas
Surely venkys will have high profile friends, business partners and potential new business clients watching this game on tv or at Ewood! If the game ends up a cricket score then hopefully kean will be gone!!

DeadlyDirk
Unlikey nightmare scenario - Rovers beat City.....then what!!?!? Gauranteed it will buy Kean an extra few more games! That's the sort of thing I always expect to happen but this time I just can't see it. We have looked useless for the majority of the season, Arsenal was a one off because they were almost in complete turmoil at the time, we were very lucky with the result and decisions, I can't see a repeat of that happening against Citeh. They are a much much better side than anything we've played this year and we are not even close to having the talent that Bayern Munich have available. Citeh will have had a bit of a wake up call that they still have work to do but I only feel that's going to drive them on. We have no chance of out playing them and keeping the goals out with our shaky depleated defence so I think it'll be a drubbing, what's plan B? To batter them off the park with our team spirit that Kean has installed and our never say die attitude. Not bloody likely.
