Veevs
well according to sky it looks like were going to play a 2-6-2 formation http://www.skysports.com/football/match_preview/0,,11065_3407676,00.html Yeah a brilliant expected lineup from old sky there.. Rovers: Robinson, Hanley, Samba, Nzonzi, Petrovic, Pedersen, Dunn, Hoilett, Formica, Roberts, Yakubu. Dann, Olsson, Nelsen, Salgado, Givet being out frightens the hell out of me.. and no doubt will be the excuse the Keanites and Kean excuses for Sat.. the fact that fitness has been so poor and we have picked up so many injuries of course has nothing to do with the chap in charge at Rovers. A cup of beans
Yeah a brilliant expected lineup from old sky there.. Rovers: Robinson, Hanley, Samba, Nzonzi, Petrovic, Pedersen, Dunn, Hoilett, Formica, Roberts, Yakubu. that made me laugh! maybe we are playing 3 4 1 2 petrovic as sweeper.. and formica behind the yak and roberts! although things look grim, there's no point being defeatest and saying we are beaten before the game starts. (slag off kean if you want) hope every1 gets behind the team and its a crackling deafening atmosphere.. in support of the team. id be ecstatic with a point. Gav
I think we'll lose, but not heavily, teams don't tend to perform at full pelt after European away trips, do they 0-
Plastic Head
Unlikey nightmare scenario - Rovers beat City.....then what!!?!? Gauranteed it will buy Kean an extra few more games! Team will most likely be: Robinson Ribeiro Hanley Samba Lowe Vukcevic Nzonzi Petrovic Rochina Formica Yakubu Now there's unlikely and then theres impossible. 0-
Ricky
We should have the team news later today as one of our posters does generally seem to be on the button with that information.
CarlRH
The seventh goal was a big turning point. We felt there was a foul on Samba in the build up for the fifth goal. We didn't get out of the traps early to stop the first 3 goals in 7 mins but we played well. "Robbo tells the referee that there was a foul on the defender but the ref just says "Tough sh** fatty and your managers sh**" Salgado and Dunn were both injured but had to stay on the pitch as the sub bench had already gone for a burger and extra fries thinking they had no chance of getting into the starting line-up having scored the previous game. "If that decision had gone the other way and we had another 7 strikers up front as good as my best mate Roberts we could have got something from the game." "I think the fans can go home tonight happy we didn't get beat by double figures dispite them hitting the bar 5 times, we look forward to Monday morning back in training for an hour and then pizza and maybe a DVD"
JWUpper
According to the club: Dann and Salgado are touch and go having not trained all week but Givet has. Dunn and Nelsen remain on the sidelines but are close to returning to the squad.

They'll be full of confidence and better for the experience of not being involved though, I'm positive of that. "All in all I'll take the positives from the result, it's another week in the job after all and we're all flying to Pune next week which is great as I love planes. They're my favourite. Better than cars anyway. So we're full of confidence going into the big Pune game, I'm sure the owners, and the players, will be delighted if we get a positive result there and we'll be full of confidence going into the next game after that, whoever it is." Its' important to remember Myles Anderson is a late developer in life, he is still catching up on many levels, he's close to using the potty, so a debut must be close too. 'We feel that Myles Anderson is a player with great potential as a late developer,' Steve Kean
Seggie
"we are also very close to agreeing a new deal with Junior, we have agreed most the terms now we just need to agree to fly his father here to iron out the details. We have agreed that contractually Junior will be able to speak to any club on the condition that they offer me a glass of JD."

BigDom
85 minutes on the clock, 3-0 down "I want to go home, I want to go home, Steve Kean's a w****r, I want to go home" Don't get me wrong, I'm Rovers til I die and of course want a positive result, but the way the defence has been leaking goals of late, I don't see Givet, Salgado, Samba & a.n.other stopping the likes of Silva, Milner, Aguero, etc etc etc when we couldn't defend properly against a team 2 divisions below us !!! Sparky Marky
A draw willonly give him ammunition for theboard meetings, strengthen his position. A heavy defeat should tip things over...

JAL
Just hope Jason Lowe makes more of a positive contribution, if played, and doesn't give the opposition any more assists after his last two games because we cant afford any more errors. neophox
IF Salgado's and Dann fit I think we'll start with this team: Robinson Salgado, Dann, Samba, Givet Rochina, Pedersen, Petrovic, Nzonzi, Hoilett Yakubu If they are not fit: Robinson Robinson Lowe, Samba, Hanley, Givet Rochina, Pedersen, Petrovic, Nzonzi, Hoilett Yakubu Rochina and Hoilett will be like wing forwards on the break. Maybe Vukcevic instead of Rochina, depends on tactics. But I believe Petrovic could be a good centreback instead of centre mid.

Backroom Tom Posted September 30, 2011 Backroom Share Posted September 30, 2011 I think it will be a comfortable 2-0 to city without them Even breaking a sweat killing us off early. I cant ever bring myself to want a defeat as we don't know what it would mean.
