Pugg Posted October 1, 2011 Posted October 1, 2011 Has anyone actually made a banner yet? There was talk of it against sheff Wednesday... Edit: just read back a few pages...looks like abbey made one? What I hate is the arguments amongst the fans in the stands. There is a guy next to me in the bbe who calls for kean's head and the guy in front defends him. It always leads to a heated discussion. I would like to urge people who disagree with the 'Kean out' chanting to just let those of us doing it to get it off our chest. If you disagree try and start your own 'Steve kean's blue and White army'

BPF Posted October 1, 2011 Posted October 1, 2011 Good luck today. The whole ground should be chanting for the ar*e to get the hell out of this club.
Darwen Rover Posted October 1, 2011 Posted October 1, 2011 Should have a massive banner saying.... P26 W6 ENOUGH SAID (not sure that's exact numbers)
broadsword Posted October 1, 2011 Posted October 1, 2011 and underneath: "Steve Kean, you are the weakest link. Goodbye."
Yorkrover Posted October 1, 2011 Posted October 1, 2011 Hope the protest is a peaceful protest, well done to people taking a stand and making their views known.....COYB!!!
damo100 Posted October 1, 2011 Posted October 1, 2011 How many Rovers fans around the world will be jumping for joy if Kean goes!!! All you 'give him more time people' please explain yourselves!! Joke!!
Mr Maureen Posted October 1, 2011 Posted October 1, 2011 Hope the protest is a peaceful protest, well done to people taking a stand and making their views known.....COYB!!! An earlier poster suggested chanting this Mary Poppins number............."Steve Kean, please resign today...because the club that I love, is only going one way"............ to the tune of Blue Moon. Is that peaceful enough for you. Persistent loud and disruptive is the only way.
PAFELL Posted October 1, 2011 Posted October 1, 2011 tommorows the day when we have to finally make our voices heard otherwise we will be stuck with them, anyone going, myself included, musnt sit on their hands, make sure they know we want HIM out. There is a compromise for those not wanting to chant Kean out during the match. First and foremost we want the team to win - though if doing so keeps kean in the job, then that is up for debate. I suggest chanting prior to kick off, again at half time and again after the match during the sit in. Even if rovers win today, fans should still protest against Kean. Suggestion to all on here. We have heard that venkys read this site. Kean has told them it is only 1% who are against him. Yet we know that the vote on here is about 400 plus to 27 to sack him. I suggest as part of the protest, those who want Kean sacked, change your signiture to 'SACK KEAN NOW'. Therefore when venkys read this site they will see instantly that it is more than 1% on here that want Kean sacked. BRFC.co.uk has to remain neutral for obvious reasons - even if they do have their own opinion on a subject. But posters have that freedom to make a stance. I accept it maybe a silly thing to do. But we are in desperate times and we need to do anything possible to get the message over that we want Kean sacked.

I thought it was rather apt as we are playing man city and was meant to have a little dig at him being unsackable ie saying he'd have to resign whilst also commenting on how the club as a whole is heading in one way. Don't worry though I didn't for one second think it would be sung. Just because i don't want to be disruptive and call Steve Kean a w**ker and bald doesn't make it a bad thing. I certainly wouldn't join in with the Steve kean's a w**ker chant. Ps you can sing more than one song in a match you know . I like the idea of 'we want you sacked in the morning' but I'd also like a song that has the word 'resign' in it because that is what he SHOULD do, even though we all know he won't. Maybe i need a spoon full of sugar...

Stuart Posted October 1, 2011 Posted October 1, 2011 A banner was unfurled on the concourse in front of the Riverside following the final whistle. "KEAN OUT" Simple and to the point. SIMON GARNERS 194 Posted October 1, 2011 Posted October 1, 2011 Radio Rovers have to be careful what they say but by God,its embarrassing to listen to these people try and defend the indefensible!
chris Posted October 1, 2011 Posted October 1, 2011 Heres a clip, quite loud sounds like a lot of people spread
BPF Posted October 1, 2011 Posted October 1, 2011 Radio rovers report 100 people stayed behind !! As it came from Radio Rovers I'm surprised that they didn't say 15 stayed behind and were outnumbered by the 100 fans holding a 'We Love you Stevie Banner'.
