'The dull and mundane Big Sam era'.

The same era we were a constant comfortable top-half team?

It wouldn't matter to me what league we were in - so long as I wouldn't have to sit through that rubbish ever again. I think that is one of the reasons people like me gave Kean a chance because he attempted better football. Lets not forget, attendances dropped under Big Sam too and although I kept coming I absolutely hated coming to watch Rovers under Big Sam. I never got that feeling of relief after a win, I just had an overall dread of waiting until having to attend the next match watching Nelson smack twelve side footed volleys into the air whilst under no pressure whatsoever - because that was the Big man's masterplan. Creativity amounted to giving Pederson a towel to dry the football. No matter how he likes to butter it up, Allardyce's football is long ball, hit and hope utter rubbish. So yes, it's absolutely fair to say that we would survive easily but also humans can survive many a year living off water and Jacob's cream crackers, but I wouldn't want or choose to do that either.

One thing I must point out though, we finished top half (just) once under Big Sam. Give me the Rovers I loved under Hughes any day.

Attendances were an average of 25000 for Sam's reign. They held up to the day he went. This season we will struggle to get an average of 21000. So, that's a load of tripe for a start.

If you didn't like it, fair enough, but don't try and make out that we have been watching anything in any way superior these last 9 months.

This is competitive sport, if you don't enjoy your club winning and competitng, then I don't think supporting a professional football club is for you.

And as a guy that came on here and took the pi$$ royally of good Rovers fans doing their bit before the Arsenal game, but now sees fit to join the protests one home match later, your credibility is shot.

What a shocking post.

His one full season we finished 10th, what else could he do?

Oh dear, here comes the obsession again

Read before you rant and base your arguement on facts young man, here are some of mine:

Fact 1. Attendances did start to drop under Big Sam and season ticket sales went down. Many fans were alienated by his pisspoor style of play -feel free to do the proper research.

Fact 2. I did take the ###### out of the dog, the timing, the racist and called the fat bald drunken fans hypocrites for chanting about a fat bald guy. Protests should be made after games in my opinion, not just copied off what Everton did a week previous to our own pitifully attended march.

Fact 3. Where have I mentioned anything "superior"? More adventurous, more bearable, more thoughtful, less negative and repetitive - absolutely.

Fact 4. I always maintaned that I would give Kean (or any manager) 7 games and until October - if you can prove otherwise you are a miraculous human being.

Fact 5. You are no more righteous than I and your opinion means no more than mine - although you blatantly but naively believe otherwise.

We lost a few hundred under Sam, we also lost a few hundred most years under Hughes. We lost 3000 this summer- odd as you think the 'many fans' would be falling over themselves to renew so they could be a part of the bright new era of 'playing football the right way'

Kean's era has been 'more bearable'? When? As we went on our worst run for 30 years? Or our 1 win from 7 this season?

I don't feel superior to any fan, your pathetic comments about those protesting shows that you do.

Your 7 game argument is a load of nonsense, as said before, why not 6, why not 8? And why does 5 months of managment before August get airbrushed?

My opinion means nothing, yours means nothing. Only results matter, and you have backed the wrong horse. I am enjoying your rapid reversing though

Listen here mate. You made a gross misjudgement with your views on Kean and you were responsible for a lot of mocking and offensive posts directed at those who had more insight than you.

Fair enough------you've seen the light at last. A simple apology will do.

Matty, you argue things that haven't been said and you rant about things that only your brain processes have been implied, whereas if you took the time to read what you fly feet first into you would probably understand my point of view on you.

I haven't implied that everything is rosy under Kean - ever.

I havent ever said the era has been more bearable - the football has.

I haven't suggested that attendances haven't decreased under Kean - I said that they started to decline under Big Sam.

I could go over every rant you have ever fired my way and I can see that you read a few words in a rage and start typing. Tonight alone you put your own spin on things and adapt my words to your rants. Chill out and read what I say instead of automatically disagreeing without reading how things are meant to be read.

We now have a manager who is very much a PR man (Pro Rovers) and rather than telling the world that we are naff focusses on the positives. He bloods the young players he is familiar with from the training pitches, gets rid of the dead wood and hangers on and appears to have a good eye for a young player from the continent. Hoilett has become a star (don't forget it was Big Sam and JW that only gave him a 2 year deal - lack of belief perhaps?) The standard of football has massively improved and so long as you aren't wracked with fear and insecurity you don't hang on the words of Mark "I'll get a prediction right one day" Lawrenson or believe the bullshit Alan Nixon feeds you then you don't live in fear and can see that there are far worse teams than our own

After taking the mickey the other week about the timing of the protest, the dog, the drink driver posters etc...... I actually joined the sit in protest yesterday :o . I thought that Kean deserved a chance and I could see potential in the Everton and Arsenal games but in a swift about turn I honestly think that the players aren't actually giving their all for him or the team now. I think the guy is probably a fantastic coach and regardless of all of the criticism on here he probably isn't a bad guy but there is something missing and whatever "it" is, isn't going to suddenly crop up. I stand by saying that he hasn't had much luck due to injuries and some decisions etc but I look at him now and he increasingly looks like a rabbit in the headlights. For the first time in a while I lacked any desire to come to Ewood on Saturday (the first time since the dull and mundane Big Sam era) so that simply means for me, Kean, it's time to go.

so in the space of 13 days you have changed from the manager who is nothing but positive and gives us a much improved standard of football to the players not playing for him, the positive man is a rabbit in the headlights and the much improved standard of football you claim is now causing you a lack of desire to come to ewood?

the way you ridiculed the protesters and gave your rant about 'brainwashed people' loses all credibility when you can change your mind and begin to agree with those people in the space of 13 days. Glad you have finally woken up and smelled the coffee, shame you ridiculed those who had woken up before you

Did you see that fella who was mouthing off outside the ground Abbey?

Was laughable how they were urging you to get behind the team and then continued to stand there, arms folded, offering no support at all.

Haha, am I supposed to feel patronised? You have made a fool of yourself good and proper these last few weeks, you probably need to take some of your own advice and think before you vent.

No, honestly not patronising in the slightst - again, you have taken something entirely the wrong way!

Now this next bit is patronising but also it is a genuine question:

Are you young and not totally matured (like 15/16) or just very dense? I ask this because I can go back through any number of your responses to me (pretty much everything I say) and pretty much everything I say gets misinterpreted by just you or rehashed into a different arguement that fits what you then go on to rant about.

I can only make assumptions but I get the feeling I am totally fighting a losing battle with you to be fair because through every response you give you make me feel that you must just be the type of person that cannot take other people's perspectives or opinions on board, or to be brutally honest I don't believe you actually read words in a full sentence. You seem to only understand be either black or white, for and against etc. and just pick out certain individual words and start ranting away.

I'll make my stance totally clear now in a way that you may understand:

If you don't read what I say in full from now on and if you just keep ranting about things I haven't implied or said, I won't take the time and effort to respond to you as you are basically wasting my time.

Oh dear Pedro, posts like that really don't help your cause.

Still, you have seen the light, so patronise away if it makes you feel better about your volte face.

...and the evidence against you and your apparent infatuation just mounts up and up ;) . I don't wish to patronise you long-term, I just wish you would from now on read what I actually write and respond to it in the way it was actually written - and not just in the context in which you often edit it right down just to suit your rantings.

That's a bit rich considering the time you spent knocking those "who had more insight than you"

Actually, many believe the mind does not read full words, only the first and last letters, it makes the rest up. Because of that, when typing something offical you should always have it proof read.

Now enough of the petty arguements, keep it about the protest and not about who is right or wrong!

You could have saved yourself all that typing by just saying you backed the wrong horse, and then apologising for taking the mick out of people with the foresight to see trouble ahead ;)

The 'KEAN OUT' stencils are all ready! I just need some cheap fabric and paint and I'll be able to make as many 'KEAN OUT' banners as I possibly can.

IMAG0128.jpg

All I will need then, is people to take them into all parts of the ground, I can cover the Darwen End I just need some people in the Blackburn End, Riverside and Jack Walker Stand to hold them up for me. 1% he's havin' a laugh!
