super_arran Posted September 29, 2011 Posted September 29, 2011 So you don't consider him a Rovers fan because he is willing to sacrifice for the long term benefit of the club, where as your just being simple and live in the moment. Makes him more of a true fan then you in my opinion. And how does he, you or anybody know that we won't improve? "are you blind?? Blah blah" I prefer to live in the moment, not be a fortune teller. Why would I want my team to lose? I want my team to win, god forbid we get some results and look like we're improving. Conclusion: I don't have a personal hatred for Kean. Some seem to. I support the team. End. If people want the team to lose; don't come to Ewood.

Mattyblue Posted September 29, 2011 Posted September 29, 2011 The thing is all these 'greater good' arguments are meaningless, unless some ITK told me 'we lose, he's out', then why hope for ANOTHER defeat that makes survival even more difficult?

I will always want what is in the long term benefit of the club, Man City is one game to you, to us it's our history, our survival our future at stake. But to you it's just another game. I respect it if you want to win but to insult someone because you don't understand how much they really care to go to the exteme of losing, thats your flaw.

Today's events only confirm that he's bad news and the sooner he goes the better.
Rover_Shaun Posted September 29, 2011 Posted September 29, 2011 Today's news has ensured a hot reception for mr Kean on Sat. He's now surely alienated himself to even the most moderate fan Seeing as th vast majority of Rovers fans are not brfcs users, and threfore unaware of the 'rumoured' reason jensen was potted, I doubt it

Sadly I'll be driving a train on Sat afternoon so wont be there but i hope he is given hell

Agreed. Here's what's likely to happen: We get destroyed anything from 4 to 7 or 8 nil, various people on here claim through various ITK sources that Kean's on the verge of being sacked. A couple of tabloids run stories on managers being shortlisted. Bookies stop taking bets on Kean being the next manager to go. Then nothing happens. Kean says he has the full backing of the owners. A quote appears in the papers from the owners saying they're fully behind Kean. And the nightmare continues.
chris Posted September 29, 2011 Posted September 29, 2011 As far as I see it to win we must play amazing and every player give their all. If that happens it's pretty hard to complain at Kean???? Now if was are useless and losing 2-3 nil then maybe its best we are spanked, fans go mad and HOPEFULLY KEan get the push because this can;t go on. But if Blackburn beat Man City thats outstanding. I doubt it will happen though.

Balls, winning games is "the long term benefit" of Rovers. And I'll be praying that Saturday will be one. "Managers are judged on results" It's clear to see people want us to lose just so we sack Kean. So if we win, what then? Wait til the next game to hope we lose? And then if we win or draw that? Is it the next game?? If we win, great. If we lose, not so great. If we draw, it'll be a good result. Hows this? Personally for the "long term benefits" of Rovers. I'd like us to win and go on a little run and I'll be there on Saturday hoping for that. Not sat with a sulky face because we might be doing alright. "It's just a Fluke! A champions league hangover! They don't have Tevez. Kean paid them the bald get! I hate him (based on Internet rumours)"

A very bitter pill to swallow especially against City but an effective pill.

If we play badly which I am expecting then it must be best we are bad enough for Kean to be under so much pressure he is pushed. But I did get to a point with both Ince and Harford where I knew that they needed to lose, get sacked in order for Blackburn get out of trouble. Some people are already there. I assume from your post you believe Kean is a man that can achieve a good run but 95% of fans don't and most want him replaced ASAP. If you turn out to be right then well done, I can't see it happeneing.
broadsword Posted September 29, 2011 Posted September 29, 2011 I just wonder how bad things have to get before he gets binned. Bottom of the league with 10 points at Christmas? Would that see him jettisoned? Or would he be allowed to carry on?
Wing Wizard Windy Miller Posted September 29, 2011 Posted September 29, 2011 I just wonder how bad things have to get before he gets binned. Once the whole crowd turn on him. Fifteen thousand singing Kean out will be heard loud and clear in Pune. The media will pick up on it and as his record is indefensible, Venkys hand will be forced...Unless Kean can use some kind of mass jedi mind trick

roverandout Posted September 29, 2011 Posted September 29, 2011 i just have to say, i cant bring myself to want rovers to win on saturday, if they score, it will be a muted celebration as it was against arsenal, i just feel sick to the stomach at the thought of rovers getting a positive result, not because i dont love the club or that im not fully behind the players, its because of HIM, to see the smug grin on that vile man's face would make me want to throw up, i detest every bone in his body and i want to see him humiliated and ripped into.

After winning he gets very serious in interviews even a little glassy eyed.

Unfortunately, this is the way many supporters feel. I think Kean is alienating huge swathes of supporters. Regretfully, I have now decided that after Saturday's match, my handful of tickets will remain in the drawer, unused, whilst this clown remains our manager. IMO, he is killing our club.
Will Posted September 29, 2011 Posted September 29, 2011 Some people on this site are a disgrace. Wanting the team you say you love to lose?? Pathetic.
roverandout Posted September 29, 2011 Posted September 29, 2011 last chance saloon according to daily mail, this our chance to end this on saturday, we dont another number 2 being brought in, this will only enhance kean's chances of staying on, so we have to make ourselves heard, let them know what we think of him otherwise we will have to endure more turmoil if he is still in charge.
martonrover Posted September 29, 2011 Posted September 29, 2011 Some people on this site are a disgrace. Wanting the team you say you love to lose?? Pathetic. I know it seems alien to some but sometimes it really is necessary to lose in order to force change and move forwards. If Kean was to be sacked regardless of Saturday's result then not one person on here would want us to lose. However, if the unexpected happens and say we get a draw he'll probably linger on for a bit longer. Sounds like a loss on Saturday might just do it

roverandout Posted September 29, 2011 Posted September 29, 2011 the only sniffing on saturday is roberts sniffing kean's butt.
broadsword Posted September 29, 2011 Posted September 29, 2011 the only sniffing on saturday is roberts sniffing kean's butt. Yet another aspect of this whole farrago that makes me ill. So much crawling and wheedling and general BS going on.
