47er
Except some fans wouldn't give it a rest, Matty. As if calling Kean out on a daily basis would earn them a medal. Reasonable fans opted for patience, knowing it would make no difference how they felt. 27 games, 13 defeats, and a protest later, they've been proven right. Some people who opted for patience have been quite unreasonable about it Topman. And others have been completely thick and are just waking up to reality. den
So, i'm wrong for at least trying to give the man chance? I'd say that's the mark of a decent fan. Neither you nor I gave him his chance Neal, Venky's did. The rest of us gave our opinions on how it would work out. For the record, me and a host of other fans never thought it would work. 47er
Where does it end? We lose tomorrow, but he stays. Do we then want to lose at QPR? Before we know it we are marrooned at the bottom and it becomes an impossible task for any incoming manager, nevermind Kean. You don't need to worry about it Matty, it'll take care of itself. His record over 27 games is consistency itself-----the odd blip with a good result or two, then back to the usual losing sequence. That won't change. It'll continue as long as he does. I said it would reach a tipping point before long, its up to the fans now to tip him. "Stand up if you want Kean out" should do it.
Neal
You're wrong for thinking there was a realistic chance of thinking this was going to end in anything other than abject failure. Doesn't make you a better or a worse fan, just means you lack a bit of foresight. Woah woah! If you can't support your team with a degree of optimism then what's the point of bothering at all? Yes I could see that it had the potential to end in one massive failure but as a supporter, that shouldn't stop you from getting behind the club to try and change the outcome. I didn't say it makes me a better or worse fan did I? Neither you nor I gave him his chance Neal, Venky's did. The rest of us gave our opinions on how it would work out. For the record, me and a host of other fans never thought it would work. Neither did I but sometimes you have to try and make the best of what you have... See explanation above. Anyway, surely this isn't a time to say "I told you so" but to come together to get this cretin out.
den
Anyway, surely this isn't a time to say "I told you so" Why not? It comes as a good reminder to those who "told us so" - but were wrong [again]. [p.s. what's happened to the original smilie that was just that - a smilie, not a laughie.]? AggyBlue
This long term wanting yourteam to lose bull that people are talking is crazy! How anyone can want the team you proffess to love to lose? If you Want your team to lose then your a loser end of!!! You can't support a team and want to lose? Sometimes you have to take a step backwards to move forwards, as a fighter you should know that. There's no 'ifs' or 'buts', City will wallop us. We should take the opportunity when we go two down to sing it loud and proud, 'KEAN OUT'

booth
Fair enough. I wasn't one of those though... Just so you know. There were a few on here mocking the ones who had reservations about the way things were going. "The sky is falling in." That was the usual heckle, along with a series of smileys :D Funny isn't it. I wonder if they are still smiling So you can't blame some people for saying "I told you so" really. Not you personally Neal, but hopefully you know what I mean. Mercer
Tomorrows protest had better be good. This could be our last chance to get Kean binned for a while especially if Clement is appointed. If we get beat, I hope it's an anhilation and embarrassment and thousands let Kean have it.
AlanK
I hope City thrash us in the hope it shoves Kean out of the door. Thats how desperate I am. It would be 1 step backwards for what I hope would be several steps forward. Or we could just keep Kean and keep going backwards. This man is playing "football manager" with our club and has got me hoping my team lose! These are dire dire dire days.
AllRoverAsia
Rovers fans plan sit in Blackburn Rovers boss Steve Kean has responded to fans plans to stage a sit in protest at Ewood Park ahead of the match against Manchester City on Sunday. A section of Rovers supporters are planning to stage the protest for 20 minutes after Saturday's final whistle. Kean said: "I'd have hoped after the Arsenal game that sort of thing might have fizzled out, but if it's come around again, we'll just have to deal with it". The manager also addressed the club's decision to remove John Jensen as assistant coach as a "board decision" and hoped that the wheels had been set in motion to appoint a replacement. Emge
City are stronger than they have ever been in the history of football. We have the crappiest "manager" ever in our history. I think this is a pretty certain victory for City and I hope this is the last game with Kean in charge. Dont think it'll happen, because the owners love him for some strange reason, but My god it would give us all something to cheer about after a heavy defeat against City
SIMON GARNERS 194
Kean - on Man City Game & Jensen Arrogant beyond belief..the man talks as if he has nothing to do with the current problems at our club. With a shrug of the shoulders he refuses to acknowledge these protests are aimed at him and his awful record, total self-absolution. Mattyblue
I agreed with the march, however this sit in is a poor idea for me. As you can see, Kean has already batted it away, there will only be a few hundred at the most doing it, absolute doddle for Kean to belittle it. Loud chanting, simple as that, surely? Yes - in the good old days he would have been found in his favourite Pub and taken outside for a discussion on football matters I agreed with the march, however this sit in is a poor idea for me. Yes agree - I hope Kean gets a lot of verbal. Unfortunately I can't be there but will watch the game live here in Bkk.
