brian_gallagher85 Posted September 29, 2011 Posted September 29, 2011 The worrying thing is that I'd actually take O'Leary over Kean... that's how bad things are!!!! It's that bad right now I'd take bloody Ince! 1 Quote

rebelmswar Posted September 29, 2011 Posted September 29, 2011 It's that bad right now I'd take bloody Ince! The terrifying thing is when I read that I didn't feel anything. 1 Quote
broadsword Posted September 29, 2011 Posted September 29, 2011 What a strange move. But then, it was a strange appointment in the first place. Who identified him as the best available number 2, given that Kean had never worked with him before? I get the feeling we don't have a replacement lined up. I wonder how much Cletus and Jethro and the Dragon Lady had to pay out to get rid of him. Quote
rebelmswar Posted September 29, 2011 Posted September 29, 2011 (edited) Scary isn't it....? I tell you Mr. Gallagher, that I feel so low about all this right now that if I walked by an ant taking a pee it would look like Niagara Falls. Edited September 29, 2011 by rebelmswar 4 Quote

hesfromburn Posted September 29, 2011 Posted September 29, 2011 john jensen has left to team up with laudrup elsewhere. He hasnt been removed so kean will stay firmly in the managers seat 1 1 Quote
broadsword Posted September 29, 2011 Posted September 29, 2011 john jensen has left to team up with laudrup elsewhere. He hasnt been removed so kean will stay firmly in the managers seat Excuse me while I just leap for joy. Our coaching staff looks so meagre. Quote
cesus Posted September 29, 2011 Posted September 29, 2011 Good God, so all decisions are purely down to Kean now. Only speculation but I'm very confident Kean would have happily put Jensen in the firing line to buy himself abit more time. If Kean is to stay (noooooooooo) then we surely need a vastly experienced No2 or director of football. Quote

RibbleValleyRover Posted September 29, 2011 Posted September 29, 2011 Well Kamy on twitter reckons Kean is going nowhere and Jensen is being blamed for results. Quote
Andy Posted September 29, 2011 Posted September 29, 2011 Under normal circumstances I wouldn't touch O'Leary with a barge pole, but as an alternative to Kean, he sounds like a Godsend. 1 1 Quote
A cup of beans Posted September 29, 2011 Posted September 29, 2011 john jensen has left to team up with laudrup elsewhere. He hasnt been removed so kean will stay firmly in the managers seat i wouldnt have minded laudrup at rovers! william's appointed ince instead of him.. cos laudrup would only sign a 2 yr contract. big mistake IMO. john jensen leaves... SO WHAT!. none of our 1st team coaching staff impresses me TBH! Quote
Veevs Posted September 29, 2011 Posted September 29, 2011 Very very strange.. I do find it a tad worrying.. that announcement is so short and to the point that it's daft, if Kean was to be going him and Jensen would of been dumped at the same time surely.. smacks to much like either Kean making excuses and Jensen being his choice of victim or Jensen deciding he simply had enough (fallout with Kean or straight walkout). Would love to hear what Jensen has to say about this, I would imagine he might be a grumpy chap... then again Venkys PAY for silence. 1 1 Quote
SouthAussieRover Posted September 29, 2011 Posted September 29, 2011 Johnny Jensen tosses a coin...heads and he becomes an additional member of the Pune 9... Tails and he's out of there....Johnny is a winner Quote
BRFCfor83 Posted September 29, 2011 Posted September 29, 2011 I think a new manager would want to bring in his own prefered staff, dont you think? +1 Every other manager brings with him back room staff & i can`t see kean fitting into any decent managers plans. Would kean`s ego allow him to be demoted to coach/ass manager. Quote
Wilsbowski Posted September 29, 2011 Posted September 29, 2011 Appaently there is 'more' on Radio Lancashire at 1:30. Although the tweet only says JJ leaves Blackburn so 'more could just be them reading out the statement. Quote
Ozz Posted September 29, 2011 Posted September 29, 2011 Let's hope he was sacked for drink driving eh. Quote
Backroom trueblue Posted September 29, 2011 Backroom Posted September 29, 2011 Well Kamy on twitter reckons Kean is going nowhere and Jensen is being blamed for results. How can jensen be blamed for results??? the buck stops with the manager surely?? Quote
chris Posted September 29, 2011 Posted September 29, 2011 (edited) How can jensen be blamed for results??? the buck stops with the manager surely?? Harford and Kidd were blamed for Kenny and Ferguson's success in the 90's. Kean is to blame, no one else, what Venkys believe is another question. Edited September 29, 2011 by chris Quote
RibbleValleyRover Posted September 29, 2011 Posted September 29, 2011 How can jensen be blamed for results??? the buck stops with the manager surely?? I agree totally. Managers 'live or die' by their results on the pitch and in Kean's case he should have been buried a long time ago. Quote
G Somerset Rover Posted September 29, 2011 Posted September 29, 2011 Blaming Jensen. Kean really is a gutter dog. Were stuck with the bald bullsh#tter. 1 1 Quote
Moderation Lead K-Hod Posted September 29, 2011 Moderation Lead Posted September 29, 2011 Good. Though I'd obviously rather it was Kean.... Quote
chris Posted September 29, 2011 Posted September 29, 2011 (edited) The "Blaming Jensen" story is probably a BS story, if he was sacked it would have been mutual consent. To me its likely Jensen wanted out, he was only on a rolling contract and he was no: 2 to a guy much less successful then him and useless so far. Edited September 29, 2011 by chris 2 Quote
