Dear Venkeys,

You have managed to achieve what two wars, numerous girlfriends, and a wife and children have been unable to do in 33 years, and you have managed to do it in a little over a year.

Congratulations.

If I see you in hell I promise I will make it memorable.

Coldest possible regards,

Me.

P.S. (Please don't use that word again) you.

I sent it yesterday anyway, adding a little bit on the end. Balls to whether I offend any of those tools or not.

You will get a standard letter back pp'd by someone (I could not make out the scribble) saying "sorry that you are disappointed with performances on the pitch".

Monkeys!

  • 2 weeks later...

I did get a personal reply from Mr. Hunt a few weeks ago, and he did offer to ring me up for a discussion. I declined I felt he'd have more important things to do than talk to someone who is crap at talking on the phone and getting their point across. So fair play to him.

I'd still love to see the back of the Raos, Kean and Anderson though, and if the takeover talk is true, the new lot would win friends by binning the latter two on their first day. So Venky's, sell up to someone of repute and shove off.

Paul Hunt reminds me of the Banker on 'Deal Or No Deal', i.e. He talks to people on the phone but is never seen.

The message to Venky's is we will let bygones be bygones if you accept the Qatar offer.

The consequences for absolutely everyone associated with Blackburn Rovers are literally too horric to contemplate if you don't.

Very eloquently put.

As long as JA is well away from our club I would bear no resentment to Venkys. I have a gut feeling they meant well from day one but have been ill advised to the point they can no longer redeem themselves

Sadly, it is my impression that this is true. I don't get a slimeball vibe off of either Venkatesh or Balaji at all. Though in Balaji's case I very much get a party animal vibe.

My impression is that Jerome Anderson and Kean have a lot to answer for.
