MarkBRFC71 Posted October 5, 2011 Posted October 5, 2011 If I was to buy one of these in the US (I'm off there on hol soon) would I be able to use it to it's full in the UK?

Biddy Posted October 5, 2011 Posted October 5, 2011 Why would you want to? It's got the dreaded Android on it. Why not just buy an ipad as it does the same thing (and that's in all seriousness). On topic from what I've read on other threads, it will work quite happily but no one knows for sure yet whether the Amazon Marketplace will be locked to the US Amazon.com. This could cause issues. People who have previously bought US kindles haven't had a problem switching to the UK store. However this could be a completely different kettle of fish. Apart from the price, I'm not sure why anyone would want one tbh. I'll stop stalking you now (maybe but its fun!)

I'll stop stalking you now (maybe but its fun!) I've already got an iPad! I wanted a cheaper alternative to store maps/routes on when I go walking, and also for storing and editing photos when I'm on a photography trip in the middle of nowhere. Oh, and to stop the missus hogging the iPad when I want it ....
