How many years will it take us to recover from Venky's once they sod off?

Time to protest at every game and do whatever it takes to get these muppets to actually start managing the club adequately.

Cant wait to see who our shiny new owners are once the "muppets" have "sodded off". Who are they then?

This should be good.

How the hell should I know? The thing about writing about something in the future tense is that it is expected that it will happen in the future. I'm not Marty McbloodyFly.

The way they are so haphazardly running the club by sacking experienced management staff such as Finn and Williams (we'll ignore Allardyce and Macdonald for now as it has been gone over ad infinitum) and largely failing to replace them after coming up to a year in charge hardly bodes well for a long-term, viable future.

Always good to see the board's angriest man again, however. Welcome back.

I can't wait either. Fingers crossed. They're going to be hard pushed to do as crap a job as these clowns. It'll be the complete opposite to taking over as manager at manure when ferguson retires.

I support them and think they have potential to take us forwards and develop the club.

HOWEVER, they need to get to know the club, fans, history, tradition and the town...

As they don't have the money to purchase players (without selling first), how can they move the club any further forward than the outfit we were under the Trust? ie skint but a highly professional football club.

And playing a yearly friendly in front of 7000 fans in Pune and setting up Indian soccer schools doesn't really cut it in the billionaires playground of the Premier League.

Get rid of Kean. Bring in a decent man and suddenly we can move up the table with a decent squad.

The Rao's have great potential with regards to India and future financing. I believe this will come out with the pune9's report.

I like your attitude. I hope I can start to feel like that again.

How? They couldn't even fill a 15,000 seater stadium in their home town. Most of the Rovers shirts that might be seen in future there are likely to be counterfeit and will bring no revenue whatsoever.

Similar claims were made about China, but they openly sell fake kits in the shops. There might be some fans of the biggest teams that contribute a tiny amount to their coffers, but nothing much at all in the bigger scheme of things. Sheffield United really tried to capture the China market...look where they are now.

I have voted to give them more time before I make a judgement. They have made A LOT of mistakes but there is still time to correct things...just. I don't support their comments and their continued support of kean but they can still turn that round. If they don't act soon then my vote will change. I don't think their intentions are devious...well I pray and hope they aren't or we are stuffed.

No offence intended, but I would not like to be on a sinking ship with you in charge

Haha. Why? Because I want them to correct their mistakes and stop the ship sinking? Like I said I don't support their comments and I don't support their backing of Kean, however if they act soon then it isn't too late and therefore I am going to reserve judgement. The reason our ship is sinking, short term is that Steve Kean is manager, that situation is still fixable. Longer term we need more structure in the club, that again is fixable. Please listen venkys.

No offence taken.

Edit: it isn't as clear cut as I support them or not for me. I support some things, don't support others and reserve judgement on things too. On a whole it's reserve judgement.

Sunday people:

''One Indian source revealed that Venkatesh Rao, brother Balaji Rao and sister Anuradha Desai, who co-own the club via Venkys, are determined to back Kean because sacking him would show they made a mistake in dumping Sam Allardyce.''

Good God,it appears they are hell bent on proving they are in the right even when all around is falling apart and everyone else is pointing out their mistakes to them. This really is turning into a very dangerous situation for all involved with BRFC.

I'ts now becoming blatently clear where the real problem lies and the root cause.

just shows that even in rough seas, the captain and her co-captains are determined to try and steer the ship through the turbulence and risk the ship falling apart than abandoning it altogether to get in the lifeboats.

Dangerous stuff that blind faith!
