Time for venky protests?

I think so!

I will be shouting for manager and owners to leave next Saturday and have been doing for some time but nobody in the Riverside has seemed to be that bothered.

The only way we get any respectibility back, be able to move forward and re-estabilsh a connection between the club and the fans is for the club to fall to such a lowly position that the Venky mongs will either give the club away or be stripped of it by the banks.

There is still a fair way to go yet before we get to that position (I think). I predict a relegation this season (not really a bold prediction is it), a poor Championship campaign riddled with financial problems at Ewood, followed aby another relagation the season afetr leaving the club in League One with gates of 5500.

Then we might rid ourselves of them.

Happy days!

I will be so disappointed if there is the slightest trace of supporters in the Blackburn End not being entirely and vociferously behind the Kean Out movement. I don't wish to tell people what to think', or be perceived as though I think it is OK to 'bully those who disagree', but on this occasion, I encourage "thinking" supporters to shout down anyone who remotely suggests Steve Kean is anything other than an unmitigated disaster.

Kean Out

Dear Rao's (Venky's),

Rumour has it your somewhat more level headed and experienced in matters of football these days and your delusional desires for Maradonna, Beckham and Ronaldihino are gone as evidenced by the arrival of Yakubu, Goodwille and Anderson.

So I'll try again and explain this football 'business' to you again. I'll keep it simple for two reasons, one becuase it is simple and two, well lets keep it cordial for now...

Football Business

Appoint an experienced manager with a proven track record, they get you 40+ points and you get paid out from the money pot!

That's it. It really is that simple!

So lets go into the details... you may ask why 40 points? Well this is the benchmark football people use for survival. Its by no means a cert but a very good line in the sand. We acheived 41 points last season you may remark, we have this business cracked.... err perhaps not, your overlooking the contribution of the previous very competent manager (19 points, 14 games). But lets not open up that sore point again.. you acted decisively and the best interests of the supporters (it had nothing to do with you being cluless and sacking Sam so the fox could run loose in the hen house and cream as much as possible in agents fees now was it?)

So where are we now?

Well to the surprise of many of us, still in the Premier League and although in serious trouble with a chance to change things.

We have a manager who has had 27 games, a good spread over which to benchmark his performance. This is another basic principle of football, its a results business, forget everything else. More points = more sucess, again I'll reiterate, it really is that simple!

So back to where we are now.......

BOTTOM OF THE LEAGUE, heading for relegation and in SERIOUS trouble.

Manager Performance / Abilty: 0.93 points per game.

Requirement to achieve 40 points*: 1.17 points per game

(*reminder, this is a well accepted foooball benchmark - Kean will soon start telling you something different. He lies to the police, you really think he tells you the truth?)

So it was a bit subtle, you may have missed it...

Kean's capability = 0.93, we need = 1.17 so when you do the SIMPLE maths with those two numbers and keep the manager constant you get only one result.

RELEGATION!!!!

Just for clarification, you no longer get the (the full amount) of money but you still have to pay the very expensive wages when the team is relegated.

You may want to cut your losses at this point, as Venky's London will be losing millions... this will destroy a 136 year old football club, founding members of the football league. This will not be without consequences, if you think people are angry now, you have no idea.

So what can you do about it....

This is a simple business remember;

Appoint an experienced manager with a proven track record, they get you 40+ points and you get paid out from the money pot!

We all have a big party, you can even bring your chickens. Everybody is happy.

....and if you do nothing?

You really can't be that stupid can you?

The Premier League, Is Upside Down

We're in Europe with The Wednesday

if they sack kean, i will give them the benefit of the doubt and change my vote from no to 'not sure yet'.

That is what I find so annoying.

At the moment i'm not sure if they are asset strippers or just idiots.

If they fired Kean, I would doubt both of the above.

Simple.

I won't go that far. If they sack Kean, however, I will take Rog of the Rovers up on his offer of assistance and buy the new season's home shirt.

Whether Venkys gets my support depends on whom they appoint as manager (Clement = no, while Hughes or MON = yes) and whether they back him and restore desperately needed stability to the club.

Why has your views on the Walter Mitty family changed Glenn? Apart from their freebie?

We are now bottom and going down . What have they done to make us better? When's beckham and CL footy coming? They lie like kean !!!

They are scum and ARE killing our beloved club and talk about uncle jack is a disgrace , they are not fit to even mention his name!

I have been out this afternoon and been chatting to about 20 different rovers fans, some I knew some I didn't and my message to the venky board monitor is that everyone I chatted to hate kean AND the venkys . 100% !!! not 1,2 or 102% but one hundred percent!

Talk to varying people and they are all of the opinion that Kean must go, dont think the word hate is the right word, but the longer this goes on then the damage to Venky's may well become unrepairable in the Blackburn publics eyes.

Now is definitely the time for the Raos to sort it out.

Always makes me laugh when I read on here 'this message board is soooooo negative, get in the real world with the rest of the fans' when the 'real world' is far more anti Venky and rabidly anti Kean than this forum ever has been.

Here's Jon Champion's take on our situation (http://fourfourtwo.com/blogs/jonchampionsleague/archive/2011/10/14/champion-s-league-141011.aspx):

"Unfortunately I don’t think it’ll be a happy ending for Blackburn – their trip to India has merely emphasised their problems rather than sorted them out. I’m not sure how long Steve Kean can continue, because there’s so much unhappiness and antagonism towards him. Couple that with naïve owners and it’s a dangerous combination that could well lead to Rovers' demise."

He also has Norwich and Swansea tipped for the drop, in addition to us.
