As chris said, no you won't. We'll take the abuse and keep coming back, hoping that this time they'll have learned the lesson, that they mean what they've said, that they've changed and really, truly, respect us and value our opinions.

They have lied, and I have taken it. They have taken apart something that I cherish more than any of my possessions, and I have allowed it. More than that, they have taken my money whilst they do it. They have removed a superb backroom staff and I hoped everything would turn out for the better. They have appointed an utter moron who is so stupid that he can not learn from his mistakes, and I continued to support them. Time after time I have been slapped in the face and I have done nothing.

Today, with what they have done, it ends.

Not one penny will I spend, not a thing will I buy.

If you shoot a man and pull on his clothes, you do not become the man. Blackburn Rovers is no longer what they are. It is what they were.

Heartbroken, but a huge weight has been lifted from it. I have years of memories to pull from, programs, shirts, photos. That illegitimateized monstrosity is not my family, it is the rotten remains of something I no longer recognize.

I feel I have been mourning for months and have finally moved on to acceptance.

I think the music trick is absolutely disgraceful and shows the utter contempt the people at Ewood feel towards the fans.

The club is at war with its own fans. Only one outcome for that. More than 3000 fans a game lost and more to come.

Because in my eyes it was their way of saying "ahhh shut up" and I found that quite funny.

And it didn't kick in when the Jack Walker chant was being sung....

For the first time in my life, today, I was ashamed of Blackburn Rovers Football Club.

Never be ashamed of our 136 year-old club. Be ashamed of our owners and "manager", sure. Not the club though.

It seems like it is time to turn all protests against Kean towards the Raos. They are destroying our club and ruling by dividing fan against fan.

However, NEVER be ashamed of Blackburn Rovers Football Club, formed in 1875.

In fact, very shortly, on Saturday, November 5th (less than 2 weeks off), you and all of us should celebrate the exact day, 136 years ago, that Blackburn Rovers Football Club was founded at the St Leger Hotel in King William Street. It has given us far too much for far too long to ever be ashamed.

F*** the temporary owners and manager.

Blackburn Rovers Football Club - formed 5th November 1875. The Pride of Blackburn AND Lancashire

Arte et Labore.

A good post FLB and the reason why there is so much anger, I just wish I had the resources to fly over to Pune and start dismantling the Temple they built brick by brick and then p**sing on the rubble, because that's what they are doing to the club I have supported all my life.

I think this is one of the Raos major disconnects. They haven't grasped that fans support their clubs (in this case, the Rovers) as fiercely as any religion. There is no negotiation or reasoning with the fans. You are either in or out, a believer or a heretic. Kean is out, and Venkys is dancing on the edge of the precipice.

Where's the inquisition when one needs them?

I was going to reply to a new thread about Venkys, but it was closed and deleted (rightly so I would say), so I'll write it here instead:

Venkys passed the Premier League-test because they LIED! Thats pretty obvious. They assured us that they were supportive of the current management and would respect that and our family traditions.

So far we have not seen any sign of that, only lies and quite frankly they dont seem to care. They bought us to expand their global PR and they have achieved that. And they are happy with it. "Small things" like bad results and lack of management doesnt bother them. In India and some other parts of the world, I would asume that they are known as the Owners of that Premier League club up in England, wow thats impressive - and all that.

Thanks mate I posted it but was locked, I think because their is already a thread about the venkys my mistake for not looking.

I agree with you the FA should look in to Venkys and save the club.

i feel my ' i support the venkys' is drifting further and further away, if they offer him this new contract, then they have lost me forever, up to them, support one deluded fool by offering something he never deserves in a million years or lose the support of the vast majority of fans forever, up to them now. They either respect the views of thousands or the view of one manipulative liar!!!

I've changed my vote from "No l don't support the Venkys" to "Yes I support the Venkys". I've also changed my name from Simon to Brenda, l've changed my car from a Porsche 911 Turbo to a Citroen C5 (estate), l've exchanged both my children for a lucky dip in the lottery and if the gods are smiling tomorrow, some geeza off Ewood caravan park will accept my 3 bedroom detached for his Bluebird Elite-430 Static.

Still, l could have choosen to employ Steve Kean as manager so l'm not as mad as l first thought.

Finally decided which side of the fence I fall, and it's a no vote for me.

Too much _trying_ to placate the manager and not anywhere like enough to do the same for the fans from the owners.

If the rumours are true about the Ewood-based team and the owners _still_ won't budge, then there's something inherently rotten about this current setup - JA still lurking around lends credence to that thought to me.

Very sad state of affairs that could still, I feel, be improved massively with some sensible PR and business strategy

Venkys Big Red Fire Truck rolls on...

Paul Egerton Vernon, Chairman of the Jack Walker Settlement Trustees said:

We are very pleased to be passing on the Rovers to the Rao family. We have been impressed with their enthusiasm for the Club and their plans and ideas for future investment to develop it further as well as their wish and commitment to preserve the legacy of Jack Walker. We are particularly pleased that the Club will continue in family ownership and that the existing management team at the Rovers led by John Williams will continue unchanged. We would like to express our gratitude and admiration for the great job John and his team have done for the Club whilst it has been part of the Trust.

Anuradha J Desai, the Chairperson of Venky’s, said:

“We are delighted, proud and humbled to be associated with Blackburn Rovers, a team with whom we share many values and ambitions. Going forward we plan to focus on leveraging the global influence in establishing Blackburn Rovers as a truly global brand. We will absolutely respect the Jack Walker legacy and will be actively supporting the organisation to ensure that Blackburn Rovers remains one of the best run Clubs within the Premier League. We are particularly pleased that the deal has the full support of the Walker Trust, the Chairman and the management team who will of course remain in place with our full support.

“Blackburn Rovers is an historic institution that has won the Premier League and we want the fans to embrace us so that we are able to do our best in the interests of the Club.”

The first and biggest lie, and I am still surprised that the majority of Rovers fans accepted without a squeak.

This alone proves how utterly untrustworthy they are. Just a complete lie from start to finish. "the management team who will of course remain in place with our full support" until a few weeks later when Allardyce was dumped
