roverandout Posted October 7, 2011 Posted October 7, 2011 hear, hear glen, completely agree, venkys are the devil's creation and kean is one of their minions.

thebigguy Posted October 7, 2011 Posted October 7, 2011 Dont worry all we are all going to be in Europe but worst thing is i think they got champion league mixed up with championship because that's where we are heading at the moment. And if kean is involved we are down to league one minimum. I have had the same thoughts about kean since January and totally feel ashamed to have a gut feeling that all this was going to happen and it did. I seriously hope rovers pick up and get points as i will back anyone if they can make this happen. Glen don't forget when sam was saked they said it was because the fans wanted it. Dont we feel some bullshit happening right there
sentient Posted October 8, 2011 Posted October 8, 2011 la la la la la 30+ year season tickets abandonded because of these imbecilies!
BigDom Posted October 8, 2011 Posted October 8, 2011 Voted "not sure" but was a very difficult choice to make between that and the negative vote...only torn because while I despise the current situation with Kean, Kentaro and the finances, they did spend money in the last window...and while the players were not of the quality we want, in reality Rovers are not the biggest draw right now so I will pass judgement on the signings once they have played a few games HOWEVER, I feel my judgement will change very very quickly if Kean is not removed by the end of the month by a credible manager and none of this Director of Football bulls**t

That's very different to the owners actually spending money.
BuckyRover Posted October 8, 2011 Posted October 8, 2011 No, some of the Phil Jones money was spent. That's very different to the owners actually spending money. I thought the Phil Jones money went to Barclays?
tony gale's mic Posted October 8, 2011 Posted October 8, 2011 I thought the Phil Jones money went to Barclays? Well a lot of it clearly disappeared, otherwise why did we have £22m of transfers out and only about £14m of transfers in? If we'd had all the money to reinvest then we would have been able to afford someone other than Yakubu for our new striker.
Jammy Posted October 8, 2011 Posted October 8, 2011 Voted not sure, but after yesterdays "Brilliant Manager" quotes, changed it to don't support.
John Posted October 8, 2011 Posted October 8, 2011 I know things can get lost in translation but don't you think the brilliant manager line is an insult? How can you say he is a brilliant manager at this moment in time? I showed those quotes to a friend yesterday and they refused to believe they were real.
gumboots Posted October 8, 2011 Posted October 8, 2011 I know things can get lost in translation but don't you think the brilliant manager line is an insult? How can you say he is a brilliant manager at this moment in time? I showed those quotes to a friend yesterday and they refused to believe they were real. Unfortunately they are. This is the real world for rovers fans. It's just a pity nobody else cares or we might have a chance of getting rid of Kean at least as the media could really go to town on this. I wanted these owners to do well; I wanted Kean to do well; I haven't always been anti as I felt that any success the owners or Kean had would also be success for the club. However, the whole affair has gone too far for anyone with an ounce of common sense to ever believe that the club will survive the reign of the Venky's unless they do something about the manager now. We are heading down and quite possibly out and listening to them is like it must have been when Nero fiddled as Rome burnt. Their comments show them to be as out of touch with the real world as Marie Antoinette was with her infamous "Let them eat cake!" and we all know where that ended up.
den Posted October 8, 2011 Posted October 8, 2011 I'm expecting that they'll demolish the Jack Walker statue if the protests continue - just to show us, they can do whatever they want.
LDRover Posted October 8, 2011 Posted October 8, 2011 Voted no. Can't really be anything else while they continually support the 'brilliant' bald buffoon.
winstonsmith Posted October 8, 2011 Posted October 8, 2011 I voted NO because I believe that Venkys, through arrogance and stupidity, may just be destroying the team I have loved all my life. Rovers were my first love and my favourite chant was always 'I'm Rovers till I die'. It now looks like that should be changed to 'I'm Rovers till death do us part' as there is now a real fear that, because of Venkys ownership, Rovers could die before I do. Still, a nice stand up comedy routine from Bazza describing Kean as a 'brilliant' manager. Its the way you tell 'em! Reminded me of a Paul Whitehouse sketch, 'Ain't Venkys brilliant!'
BigDom Posted October 8, 2011 Posted October 8, 2011 Having just seen the rumour about Hoilett not signing new contract then I would like to change my vote to "don't support"
rhodie Posted October 8, 2011 Posted October 8, 2011 Started out when I came on this thread voting maybe, then went and had a look on the Hoillet thread and found out the news there.Venkys have no place owning a football team ,all it is to them is a plaything and when they either get bored or realise its too much hassle the club will be discarded like a used fag end .I`ve thought from the beginning of their ownership they were genuine people that had the clubs interests at heart and have always been prepared to give them the benefit of the doubt but now realise that was one of those really stupid decisions that we all make in life. The reason I say the club is a toy to them is because they seem not to be bothered about where we are going or the consequences of their decisions especially regarding the manager. They will not get rid of him because they like him ,not because of his management skills (hahaha) but because he has become a close friend and even dare I say a part of the family.Because they have no idea whatsoever of how to run a club and yet insist on doing so, they have had to pick somebody to lead them through the minefield that is premier league unfortunately Anderson and then when that didn`t work out Kean were chosen. He tells them what he chooses they should know or think and that is the new gospel as far as they are concerned.Rovers are now royally screwed, nothing is going to change, we are going to get relegated, hopefully, only once in the next few seasons and to cap it all that t..t is still going to be in charge. The worse part is that I am an optomist....Never more have I hoped to be wrong.
tonyoz Posted October 8, 2011 Posted October 8, 2011 I'm expecting that they'll demolish the Jack Walker statue if the protests continue - just to show us, they can do whatever they want. A wee bit over the top don't you think?
Billy Castell Posted October 8, 2011 Posted October 8, 2011 They are effing stupid bags of crap who should sell up as soon as possible. Every time you think the morons have learnt something they come out with a moronic comment about the current run of form, the manager or whatever. Or they go to some shifty agent and bankroll their new £3m mansion in exchange for an average player. If they are secret Burnley fans wanting to ruin us they are doing a good job.
den Posted October 8, 2011 Posted October 8, 2011 A wee bit over the top don't you think? Tony, you've been quiet recently. Yes mate, it was a joke. I don't really think they will demolish the JW statue.
Guest Rovers4Good Posted October 8, 2011 Posted October 8, 2011 You need football people running football clubs and these are clearly not football people. When anybody buys a football club they have a press conference to say why they bought it and what the future holds but none of that has come from Venks. Also, what summed up their lack of knowledge on football was when they came out and said Steve Kean was a brilliant manager R.I.P Blackburn Rovers with them in charge.
tonyoz Posted October 8, 2011 Posted October 8, 2011 Tony, you've been quiet recently. Yes mate, it was a joke. I don't really think they will demolish the JW statue. Yes.........I get depressed every time I come on here these days. I really dislike the personal insults when I know that if we all met up in the pub we would have far more in common than would seem possible after reading this stuff.
T4E Posted October 8, 2011 Posted October 8, 2011 Changed from Yes to No purely on the basis of the "brilliant manager" quote. That may seem a bit knee-jerk and I'd like to think that's not my usual style, but that's just a sign of how utterly idiotic that comment was.
SIMON GARNERS 194 Posted October 8, 2011 Posted October 8, 2011 I want to give these people more time but what can you do when they seem oblivious and in total denial of our problems?
Athlete Posted October 8, 2011 Posted October 8, 2011 I want to give these people more time but what can you do when they seem oblivious and in total denial of our problems? A few months back I predicted we'd become another pompey ,Leeds , etc ( with the parasites that seem to be rinsing money out the club ) this is looking even more sure fire as it seems venkys ,Anderson ( yes he still seems to be there ) along with their stooge Kean and a certain PR chap have an hidden agenda and it certainly isn't for the good of Rovers . Because lets face facts in any corporate business any manager who doesn't perform gets ousted ( kean isnt performing ) in football its even more cutthroat and results driven and even a 5 year old can see Rovers stats under Kean are a total disgrace..so why is he still in charge ????..oh..Balaji says he's a brilliant manager well MR Balaji how have you been so successfull in business ? Because if you employed the likes of Kean in every sector/department of your business you wouldn't have a business you'd be bankrupt...
FourLaneBlue Posted October 8, 2011 Posted October 8, 2011 How many years will it take us to recover from Venky's once they sod off? Time to protest at every game and do whatever it takes to get these muppets to actually start managing the club adequately.
