rog of the rovers Posted October 26, 2011 Posted October 26, 2011 Ewood Spark, I agree with the sentiment of the message, it was certainly a less 'spiky' atmosphere. That said I can completely understand why the protest are taking place.

ABBEY Posted October 26, 2011 Posted October 26, 2011 What a pleasure to be at Ewood tonight. Of course it's always good to send the Geordies home crying (shades of Graham Fenton tonight I thought) ... but the real joy was to be sat amongst the REAL Rovers SUPPORTERS ... People like 'our kid' who had driven 150miles after work to be there. No sign of 'whinging cry-baby dummy spitting ex-fans', or half-wits who boo because they feel affronted to get beat off an all conquering City ... and of course with the tremblers boycotting it just left the REAL SUPPORTERS. Long may it continue. Worst post of day!!! Just because you are a venky love machine doesn't mean anything ! I'd minus this a million Just see the bigger picture that's all i ask of rovers fans rather than being this elated at one result. It's like being ecstatic at petrol going down 5p when really it is 50p too expensive aready. Our club is bottom of the league not because of bad luck but because we deserve to be there. Guess what the club I love won!!!!!!!
sijoco Posted October 26, 2011 Posted October 26, 2011 ok let me get this straight we lose and its the managers fault, then we become the first team to beat newcastle this season and still members come on here slating, cant we just enjoy the result and look to the weekend with a bit of **** hope” While were bottom of the league with a manager who knows about as much about defending as Ince's mate Winterburn? You can stuff your cup l would rather 3 points than a cup run. Hang on tho we haven't been to the new Wembley. PRIORITIES PEOPLE !!!!!
roverandout Posted October 26, 2011 Posted October 26, 2011 people have to sit on either side of the fence not on it, you either hate venkys/kean and want something done about it, ie lose for the greater good or you want to stick by them and have rovers win, i want rovers to do well as much as anyone, i see the making of a very talented side, just wish we had a manager who could gel this team together, i have been to every home game so far this season, cup and league, so noone can call me a part-timer or a boycotter and yes i was at the two protests and i shall be at the next one, my faith in kean has gone for good and shall never return.
ABBEY Posted October 26, 2011 Posted October 26, 2011 Trust me AB's l'm as upset as you but surely you can see the odd result in 5 is keeping him in a job. Is there a time you'd put the team result to one side for the better good? If you had the choice - Rovers lose and Venkys & Kean fcked off would you accept the loss? I love rovers more and hate kean and venkys!!How many games would you want us to lose? The dippers WONT sack the lune!' we need to start getting the odd win because that what keeps Us in touch!

Is there a time you'd put the team result to one side for the better good? If you had the choice - Rovers lose and Venkys & Kean fcked off would you accept the loss? Before the games, at the moment, I feel like I could cope with a loss, just to end the agony, to bring Kean's tenure to a close. I don't want losses though, because I know we need the points and it terrifies me that we will be stuck on 5 points for the foreseeable. But watching/listening to the games, I just can't want anything but a win. It is innately present. I could never be happy with a loss. It doesn't seem to be bringing is sacking anyway so I want the team to have a good go.

It's funny that. You seem to think its black and white. Can you not be concerned about where the club is going but still be happy when you win 4-3 after extra time?

Though this was the Newcastle game thread?? Can't the mods do something about the Kean/Venkys/protesting topics over lapping in to EVERY thread?

pick32 Posted October 26, 2011 Posted October 26, 2011 Good win, Kean still has to go even a stopped watch is right twice a day. The draw will be Liverpool v Arsenal Man U v Crystal Palace Blackburn v Chelsea Cardiff v City
roverandout Posted October 26, 2011 Posted October 26, 2011 bucky, abbey, yes i want rovers to win but this just clouds over the damage kean has already done, this win will probably give him 5 more games, i hate to see rovers lose but i hate steve kean even more!!!
Exiled_Rover Posted October 26, 2011 Posted October 26, 2011 Why the hell was the Rovers pen reported as controversial?! Absolute stonewall and the keeper should have been off. As for the Ba dive, he should have been booked for that. Not to mention theirs wasn't a pen.
booth Posted October 26, 2011 Posted October 26, 2011 Why can't these people who wanted Rovers to lose be happy for Rovers to win, but not happy that it keeps Kean in a job. That's the way I feel. I can see what Abbey means. They won't sack him so we may as well pick up points. I think if Abbey is right, we're going down regardless though. If Kean did turn it around now he's superhuman.

Nate Posted October 26, 2011 Posted October 26, 2011 "He didn't want to come off at half-time with a hamstring. He said to give it ten minutes, I kept asking him if he was ok and he just blanked me." Because you're a tit.
Steve Moss Posted October 26, 2011 Posted October 26, 2011 Good win, Kean still has to go even a stopped watch is right twice a day. The draw will be Liverpool v Arsenal Man U v Crystal Palace Blackburn v Chelsea Cardiff v City I'd rather have Palace or Cardiff. We've more than a reasonable chance to get past them.
hesfromburn Posted October 26, 2011 Posted October 26, 2011 I couldnt see why they got that penalty at the match cant see what hanley did wrong on highlights. Dont know why we didnt close them down - but at least kean recognised this and went mental about it. Petrovic as slow as his positional brain seems to be his passing was decent all game

bannedwidth Posted October 26, 2011 Posted October 26, 2011 I was at that Newcastle game when fenton scored those late goals. I was sat close to the darwen end in the JW stand near the goerdies and it was f ING brilliant seeing their faces after we beat them. ZERO pleasure beating them this time though, I want us to lose because he has to go and I don't give a #### what you think.

Backroom Tom Posted October 26, 2011 Backroom Posted October 26, 2011 BBC coverage was shocking, less than 4 minutes all in all. Tombro, I still wanted to watch the goals

Steve Moss Posted October 26, 2011 Posted October 26, 2011 Can see chelse away With our normal luck, yes. But Kean has obviously sold his soul, so he'll get a winnable game, just to keep the axe from falling one more month.
