[Archived] Hand signed petition

Recommended Posts

Evening all. I've only been a member here for a couple of weeks but from what I've seen many views here mirror my own. I'm a very worried fan, even so far as to almost cutting my season ticket up (after 25 years of having one) but sense took over and I can't turn my back on my club.

Down to business though. I feel a hand signed petition could work wonders with enough signatures. Let's face it, many Rovers fans don't use these forums (I'd never heard of this one until very recently). This meeting coming up would be a perfect time to create a generic copy and hand them out to all that attend. Sadly I work away a lot and won't be there. If Glen or whoever is hosting the meeting could print a good few off, hand them out and I'm sure they could be passed around work places etc. All that needs to be done then is post them to a central point before the spurs game and we could have more ammunition than ever. Anyways, its just an idea. Whatever works to get our club back on track

I've posted a few times in various threads that a hand signed petition could be the most effective way.

Imagine how effective it could have been if the Pune 9 had presented such a petition in person to Balaji. Oh well...

The thing with the protests, whatever form they take, is that only a small number of people will partake, giving Venky's/Kean the chance to dismiss the numbers. A well organised hand-signed petition could collect thousands and thousands of signatures.
