Backroom DE. Posted October 14, 2011 Backroom Posted October 14, 2011 Steve Kean: “I don’t know if you will ever answer the uncertainty. There will be people who want uncertainty, who will seek a bit of confusion - for whatever reason. But all we can do as a club is move forward, we have a fantastic new member of staff in, we have the backing of the owners and all we can do is move the club forward.“If a certain section want to criticise then we hope that fades away but if it doesn’t we will just work through it. The owners are rock solid behind what we are trying to do. “If you don’t win games there is obviously going to be criticisms but when I had my meeting with the owners they said ‘this is how we are going to go. We are not going to change, we are not going to shift’.” “We all want an improvement and we want that to be soon. Obviously we know we need to climb the table as quickly as possible but it needs to be from a solid base. “No I didn’t sense a shift in their feelings. We were in a difficult position last season and they asked me then do you think things will improve and why will they improve? I told them we will get our results and want to use the young players. No doubt we will come through this as well. “There was no different edge from the normal meetings we have. It is easy for people to try and fabricate something that is not there. I take the point one of the family said results have to improve and I would echo that. “The owners were disappointed at the criticism the fans gave us. They found it difficult to understand how in tough times the fans don’t get behind the club, and don’t get behind the manager and the players. “I said ‘sometimes it will happen when a certain section are not happy for whatever reason’. You could say the same about any club, even the big clubs. You could see a type of demonstration at Manchester United, there was a heavy populated demonstration against the owners, and hopefully we can go the same way as Manchester United have gone and that fades away.” I just have no words for this.
rebelmswar Posted October 14, 2011 Posted October 14, 2011 Steve Kean: I just have no words for this. I have two -deluded fool.
Mattyblue Posted October 14, 2011 Posted October 14, 2011 'It is easy for people to try and fabricate something that is not there' you're not wrong there Steve, you wrote the book on it!
Fowl Play Posted October 14, 2011 Posted October 14, 2011 The only thing that is going to fade away kean is you as our manager. We're not going anywhere - YOU are. 'WE WILL PREVAIL'
den Posted October 14, 2011 Posted October 14, 2011 I just have no words for this. I have just one. Inflamatory. Rather than trying to bring everyone together as any other manager would, he continues in his quest to belittle his objectors. he's a complete ......
Amo Posted October 14, 2011 Posted October 14, 2011 The sad thing is, it's probably true what he says about the owners. We've had a few murmurs that his head is on the block, yet once again, the actions speak louder than words. If they really knew what they were doing, they would have booted him already. Instead, he's been allowed to bring in new staff.
RibbleValleyRover Posted October 14, 2011 Posted October 14, 2011 A sensible manager would take the criticism from the fans on board and do his talking on the pitch. Instead we have a manager with a "I don't give a ###### what the fans think, the owners love me so screw them" attitude. I really don't give a toss what you think Steve, I wish you would shut up and get the hell out of our club. He makes my blood boil.

Yep, read between the lines and he's basically saying to anyone who wants him out "I don't care what you think, I think you're a minority of troublemakers. The owners like me and wont sack me". Nasty piece of work.
John Posted October 14, 2011 Posted October 14, 2011 Big grin from sleazy Stevie today, great to see him happy again. That said, think we will do well tomorrow - mainly because QPR looked awful in their last game.
Billy Castell Posted October 14, 2011 Posted October 14, 2011 It is almost like he and Venkys are advocating violent direct action like throwing stuff at him during matches. Aaaaaargghh! I am really trying hard not to say we should beat them all up etc. and go completely nasty.
Athlete Posted October 14, 2011 Posted October 14, 2011 we are championship bound simple as.................TOTALLY GUTTED AFTER ANOTHER VENKYS MASTERSTROKE..TONIGHTS INTERVIEW ON bbc MADE MY BLOOD BOIL vENKYS/KEAN OUT
cn174 Posted October 14, 2011 Posted October 14, 2011 :angry2: I just cannot listen to him, he makes me cringe.
Bluefudge Posted October 14, 2011 Posted October 14, 2011 Likewise, just can't watch this odious horror of a man. Never ever have I hated and I do not use the word lightly HATED a man so much in all my 42 years on this earth. How have we come to this!! Who on earth does he think he is, to say we will just simply fade and put up with his, yes his record as Blackburn Rovers manager is simply unacceptable.
AllRoverAsia Posted October 14, 2011 Posted October 14, 2011 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o5ZgRwOSLrY In that interview Kean says that he's very happy that ''Rovers were able to prise him (Clement) away from a club like Chelsea''. I thought that Villas-Boas got rid of Clement back in June of this year. Am I wrong or is Kean lying again and changing history to suit his ends.

AllRoverAsia Posted October 14, 2011 Posted October 14, 2011 Aaaargh - Steve Kean http://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/football/blackburn_rovers/news/9307847.Kean_believes_Clement_apointment_shows_Venky_s_support/ Kean is deliberately and publicly taking the p1ss out of a large and growing number of Rovers fans because he knows that for some reason that I cannot get my head around he considers himself unsackable. If not already there he is well on the way to being Rovers most hated manager ever. I just want him gone, out of Rovers and out of my life.
Hi Mack Posted October 14, 2011 Posted October 14, 2011 Im gutted I cant go to QPR tomorrow, whoever is make Keans life Hell. Dont get me wrong support the team till the death, but I can NOT stand that slime ball!
BigAlan Posted October 14, 2011 Posted October 14, 2011 Kean is playing a very dangerous game here. Deluded is not the word I would use. He is very calculating and seems to want to play the Machiavellian role. This is certainly his last job in football. Who else will trust this slug?
redroses Posted October 14, 2011 Posted October 14, 2011 comparing the protest to that of man united? Insanity. The guy needs locking away.

I'm about half way through the Brian Clough book ''Cloughie - Walking On Water'' - Chapter 11 Coaches Get Found Out: To quote '' Some coaches think they can make the step up to manager without a problem...by and large these are men who tend to drown in their own self-delusion'' Pity Venky's didn't read it.

Clough, the man was born too early. God knows what he would say at the state of the game now!!
