not thought of that before, is a fair idea and one I would go along with, however, i just think Newcastle is an ideal opportunity for people just not to go. I mean doubling the price of the ticket was ridiculous in the first place and I dont think getting through to the next round is going to do us any favours. (as Birmingham found out first hand last year.)

Aren't reduced prices in cup games only possible if the away club agrees? Otherwise they revert to a standard base price, which we don't officially have. So not 100% this is one to pin on Venkys.

I attended the after match protest until about 17.30 and felt damned good for doing so. Numbers were better than previously but, after seeing Kamy's you tube videos, could certainly be a lot better. In fact, why didn't the bulk of the Blackburn End stop back? We seem such a sodding passive lot at times. Whilst I feel the majority of Rovers fans want Kean out, it is still a relatively small percentage that will get off their backsides and protest in this manner to try and achieve the goal. That will give Venky's heart. It's growing but needs to grow a lot more. As others have said, despicable of the club to turn up the volume to drown out some of the chanting. Well done to Glen & Co. Here's to the next protest.

wasnt pinning it on venkys dont really have an axe to grind with them other than that they need to sack kean. just seems unreasonable for a price to double when attendances at the first 2 cup games were very low (i was at both) and performances have been poor and the everyday mans budgets are very tight.

1. If you A) support Kean or B ) Don't think anti-Kean opinions should be voiced then either drown out the boos and chants with pro-Kean songs or if can't quite bring yourself to vocally back the criminal then keep your thoughts to yourself and go home. Also don't tell people not to attend, there will be enough not attending anyway next season with Kean in charge.

DO NOT Tell any fellow followers who have seen more games you you have had hot dinners and given support to the club when they REALLY needed it any stick. You have your say and let others have theirs. Some of us will not stand for it again. This seems to be an attitude picked up by some not all fans who started coming in the early Walker/Radio Rovers era.

Talking about RR, they are a disgrace and an embarassment to any fan who isn't a vegetable. Their days have gone and they should close now.

The protests were organised and everyone behaved inpeccably. Well done to all concerned and all those who took part.

Support for the team during the game was good and there was no banners or Kean outs until the final whistle.

As for the game the general performance was OK but we were completely toothless and looked vulnerable at times. We are good enough to stay in this poor league make no mistake. Keans selection of Roberts was completely unfathomable and brought just about the only dissent during the game.

Interesting that during the sit in that 3 players chose to walk accross the pitch and applaud the protesters. Not sure if that was significant or not but I think it was.

As for Kean turning things around there is no evidence to show this can happen so you are relying on blind faith rather than judgement.

Kean out, of course.

Who were the three players?

Just hold on one minute please... I sit in area NO4 where this incident happened. To those who clapped like spoilt Children when the stewards came I say shame on you,to act like that with your fellow supporters was a disgrace. These lads and men were being passionate about the club they love....I feel ashamed to have witnessed what I did today at Ewood. You must feel so proud Venky's to have turned fan against fellow fan :angry2:

That makes for very sad reading.

Like I said in another thread, I sit directly in front of these guys, and this one kicks off with everyone every match, even leaving the Everton match after 20 mins because of Pedersen. He is passionate, but also a very angry man. As for the fans chanting cheerio and waving goodbye to him, when they where not even involved, muppets.

Givet alone, then I think Petrovic and Vukcevic.

They didn't have numbers on their suits so not sure.

When Sammy Lee left Bolton by mutual consent

God how I wish this would happen to us.

"Bolton have taken just five points from their first nine Premier League games, with only goal difference keeping them off the bottom of the table."

Very similar to our situation. Wasnt there also protest against him from the Bolton-fans? Anyone remember how that all went about? Was it 1% like us?

It was the three you have named and Goodwillie came out a few minutes before them.

Interesting that 3 out of those 4 are Kean signings. Perhaps they feel betrayed by the lies he probably told them in order for them to join this disaster of a club?

Saw Glen Mullan at the pre match protest but he's been very quiet recently.

Apologies if I've missed something but I hope that he's not been 'got at'.

Forgot to mention earlier, great display of banners - including one from Norway - well done to all concerned. Keep the momentum going and let's have many more there at the next home league game.

I do not mean 'bought off' in the sense of a trip to Pune.

Glen's put his b@lls on the block and has taken a lot of stick. He's been phenomenal. When you are out there, leading from the front, it's quite easy for the club to put all types of pressure on. I've seen it happen before.

Some of us have been round the block a few times.

You tend to jump in a bit naively at times.

But when the club drowns out it's own supporters because the club does not like what it is hearing is deplorable.

I hope the fans forum will be asking who authorised this action
