Backroom Tom Posted October 23, 2011 Backroom Posted October 23, 2011 I do not mean 'bought off' in the sense of a trip to Pune. Glen's put his b@lls on the block and has taken a lot of stick. He's been phenomenal. When you are out there, leading from the front, it's quite easy for the club to put all types of pressure on. I've seen it happen before. Some of us have been round the block a few times. You tend to jump in a bit naively at times. Bless Anyway, on the subject of a different idiot, is this the real Diouf? @officialdioufy El-hadji diouf if kean isnt fired by wednesday i will buy the whole blackburn end and full flag that will cover the whole thing saying ''kean out' #keanout
chris Posted October 23, 2011 Posted October 23, 2011 What song did they use to try and drown you out? they played this and to be fair nobody can protest over this song:
SIMON GARNERS 194 Posted October 23, 2011 Posted October 23, 2011 Here's a little song I'd like to dedicate to Kean from ALL Rovers fans........
roverandout Posted October 23, 2011 Posted October 23, 2011 i spoke to glen after the sit-in, seemed to think this protest will be the tipping point for kean.
mjs Posted October 23, 2011 Posted October 23, 2011 Listening to radio rovers on the way home tonight, coupled with the music trying to drown out the sit in protest, made me want to be sick. There is either a big case of burying heads in sand or a massive cover up going on. The fans of brfc deserve better. The protests must go on to drive out the disease that is rife throughout our club. If Jerome Anderson is no longer involved at our club then why was he there today? I am sure it wasnt in the hope of seeing our Myles play. KEAN OUT, VENKYS OUT
mjs Posted October 23, 2011 Posted October 23, 2011 Did Radio Rovers allow any callers on? In the half hour that I listened there wasn't one. Only messrs Jackson and Yardley gushing over stats and how unfortunate we were today. Yardley's interview with Kean was so weak and sickly it was untrue. KEAN OUT, VENKYS OUT
only2garners Posted October 23, 2011 Posted October 23, 2011 Just hold on one minute please... I sit in area NO4 where this incident happened. To those who clapped like spoilt Children when the stewards came I say shame on you,to act like that with your fellow supporters was a disgrace. These lads and men were being passionate about the club they love....I feel ashamed to have witnessed what I did today at Ewood. You must feel so proud Venky's to have turned fan against fellow fan I'm sorry but I was under the impression that we had all agreed that we get behind the team during the game. It seemed to me that the vast majority of fans did just that but a small group rolled out their Kean Out flag after we went 2-1 down. Immediately everyone around them tried to get them to take it down and get behind the team. There then ensued a war of words between a few fans which resulted in one fan being led away - if he came back afterwards fair enough - I didn't see that. If we had been three or four down I could have understood it but we were playing well and still very much in the game at the time. At the end of the game plenty of those who had argued with the lads with the banners were singing Kean Out but during the game they wanted to get behind the team. Aren't they the real fans?
Glenn Posted October 23, 2011 Posted October 23, 2011 I hope the fans forum will be asking who authorised this action I'll happily bring that up
Rovers_786 Posted October 23, 2011 Posted October 23, 2011 'm not sure if anybody has mentioned this yet but an incident during the early stages of the post match protest has once again alienated our club from many genuine supporters. We stayed behind for several minutes in the Upper Blackburn before going into the Lower Blackburn End. Whilst we were there fans sang anti Kean songs and somebody from the club turned the PA system to play as loud as possible to drown out the protestors songs. Genuinely despicable from the club and an action which is sure to have pushed some fans over the edge and possibly will lead to some of them not coming back under the current regime. Is this what our club has come to? Venkys and Kean deserve each other but somebody from inside the club decided to turn up the volume. Truly shameful and I hope that they can sleep at night. The owners were not at the game.

OH SO ITS OK TO LOSE BY ONE ???? ITS A FRIGGIN LOSAS BUT AT 4 DOWN ITS BAD ???? A LOSS IS A LOSS IS A LOSS!!! VENKYS OUT
walk down bolton road Posted October 23, 2011 Posted October 23, 2011 Here's a little song I'd like to dedicate to Kean from ALL Rovers fans........ Excellent song love to put the Turnbull ACs on keans arse chasing him across blackburn.
den Posted October 23, 2011 Posted October 23, 2011 Great respect to Glen and everyone who organised and took part in the latest protests. You guys are at the very least showing the passion that so many fans feel, but for some reason can't demonstrate themselves. I have to say though, these organised protests before and after the game are playing somewhat into the hands of the club. Pre-match the authorities demand them to be so early that they are done with before the majority of fans have arrived at Ewood. Kean can talk those down with relative ease. - and after the game, well I stayed behind and it was like watching fans protesting to an empty shell. It was so sad to see. The fans showing concern and no-one at Ewood interested. While I don't write these protests off, because they do put pressure on the owners and manager, the protests that will hit home the hardest will be the spontaneous protests during the game. These can't be organised, they'll either happen, or they wont. If and when they do though, and assuming it's done in large numbers, there's no way they will be ignored. They would make Keans job impossible.
Amo Posted October 23, 2011 Posted October 23, 2011 They would make Keans job impossible. Kean's already made his job impossible.
hesfromburn Posted October 23, 2011 Posted October 23, 2011 Den I know where your coming from but im sure people at ewood do know. The sit in has been reported in news outlets. Also on tv So they are being heard and the longer this situation carrys on the louder and larger they will get
rebelmswar Posted October 23, 2011 Posted October 23, 2011 Kean's already made his job impossible. It is impossible for him to do the impossible because he can not possibly be a manager.
Bluefudge Posted October 23, 2011 Posted October 23, 2011 All music played through the PA system comes from Radio Rovers !!!! You must be proud Agent Jackson, Venkys are happy with your work....
Mercer Posted October 23, 2011 Posted October 23, 2011 All music played through the PA system comes from Radio Rovers !!!! You must be proud Agent Jackson, Venkys are happy with your work.... Think Brownie should bar him from The Royal Oak!
Bluefudge Posted October 23, 2011 Posted October 23, 2011 Think Brownie should bar him from The Royal Oak! His nose is nearly as brown as Kean's
Rovers_786 Posted October 23, 2011 Posted October 23, 2011 At the end of the clip Glenn9Mullan talks, I am sure its him.
47er Posted October 23, 2011 Posted October 23, 2011 When we started chanting in the sit in we were loud, very loud then the pa was blasted out to drown our shouts out. Pathetic if u ask me. And my banners went down a treat. Got told off a mate in London talk sport mentioned my P45 banner. Haha quality. Kean out MOTD cameras focussed on it and on Ralfino's!
Bluefudge Posted October 23, 2011 Posted October 23, 2011 The 1% tshirts went down well. People asking where we got them from. Have to make 100' for the next protest!!
