May I ask, Monday comes, we have beaten by Spurs, protests unheeded, Kean still in charge.

What happens next ?

Then we go again next time round, and again, and again, and again (sure you get my drift) until he is gone.

No manager has ever survived at any club once he has lost the fans and that point has already been reached - we will get our own way, its just the critical question of how long and will the season be salvageable.

Great news about the banners. I cant wait to hang my 12m long banner on the bit inbetween top and bottom tier in Blackburn End up until kick off. MAXIMUM EXPOSURE

Can't wait to see it Ralf!

To be honest, it would be great to bring it down to just behind the Blackburn End nets a few minutes before full time. Then everyone get out of their seats and stand in that area as well, chanting Kean Out!

Why wait until full time? Have a 'Kean Out Conga'with anyone in favour joining the line.

Let's all get Steve Kean out, let's all get Steve Kean out, na na na na, na na na na..........

In usual circumstances yes, these are strange days.

Can't think of many clubs having such a unique viewpoint of such a manager as Rovers have done. Given a vote of confidence you usually see the manager gone 2 weeks tops.

This guy has had 10 months!!

More to all thus than meets the eye.

Beginning to think what is the point in the board ?

Is anyone actually listening to us ?

With all boardroom battles their usually is many sides, is any one on ours ? Has anyone had word of any support on the Rovers board to our cause ?

With each protest, the pressure is cranked-up on Venky's / Kean until eventually, his position becomes untenable as history has shown (a manager loses the fans and it's 'goodnight').

To me, it's also key to make life uncomfortable for Kean during the game. Any venture into the technical area should be roundly booed and as for chants, simply sing your hearts out against him.

This guy ain't goin, we don't have all the pieces of the jigsaw.

There is a bigger reason here.

The Board are SILENT. Who is on our side ?

Who within the club wants him out ?

To get rid of him we need inside support....

Unlike Kean, we need plan B and C...

could we do a poll on what we want the banner to say? Some good suggestions in there.

Taxi For Kean

P45 For Kean

Plymouth For Kean

Burnley For Kean

Rangers For Kean

Somalia For Kean

Alan Nixon For Kean

The Sack In The Morning For Kean

Even Your Wife Doesn't Love You Kean

This guy ain't goin, we don't have all the pieces of the jigsaw.

He is. The fans always decide.

As Simon has already pointed out the March has been brought forward to 13.45 On sunday. The club have been fantastic with their co-operation and we are very thankful of that.

The reason the March has brought forward is on Health and Safety grounds, and also to ensure all that take part can protest with no obstruction.

The club have also kindly agreed to allow the sit in protest to last a maximum of 45 minutes after the match.

The sit in protest will be held in the Blackburn End, and anyone who is not seated in that area, are asked to exit the ground as normal and then re-enter the ground through the Blackburn End Exit doors which will be open with no obstruction.

Both the organisors and club felt this was better than pockets around the ground on both Health & Safety grounds and also on impact the message will have.

Banners will be allowed in the ground providing they are not offensive, but these are to be used at Full-time, and not suring the game, as most importantly we want 3 points and we all feel banners during the game will have an effect on the players.

Along with the Police the organisors will have 10 stewards to help with the March to get everyone to the ground as one group safely and in good spirit

Claytons left boot.

Think we are an insignificant hinderance to the Venkys/SEM and the Board.

With every sacking it must come from the board. I will ask again, who on the board supports us ?

The protest have had a much bigger impact than we could possibly have imagined, and if Sundays comes off without a hiccup and with significant numbers, you may be pleasantly surprised

I understand this sentiment, as we all feel we have been banging our heads against the wall, tomorrows fans meeting is important, and over the last 48 hours there does appear to be a light at the end of the tunnel, which shows the fans do matter, we just need to be strong now stick together and rubber stamp the message come sunday

Count me in Glen.

It's been like watching a train crash for months.

Sure if we all work together we will finally move the club forward.

Just out of curiosity, what would happen if somebody was to display a banner before the final whistle (like the 'Kean out' banner against city)? Also, what is deemed to a banner rather than a poster and what would an A4 'Kean out' sign be deemed?

  • Backroom

Fair play to everyone trying to get their feeling across in any way possible, I feel results on the pitch and the ability to draw the right replacement are going to be the deciding factors but maybe seeing first hand the amount of the bad feeling towards the manager will tip the balance further though.

Fowl play's avatar would make send a fantastic message IMO and hits home at both venkys, Kean and our current predicament.

Kean lies

Venky's lie

The table doesn't.

Kean out!

If someone was to show a banner during the game providing it was not offensive and did not spoil someones view of the game then nothing would happen.

However the important thing for 90 minutes is to try and win the match, and with a march and a sit in already in place, banners during the game could have an adverse effect on the players is the clubs concern.

The club have been fantastic, and have bent over backwards to ensure the supporters can have a peaceful protest, so its not the club being awkward, it was just a genuine request from them, who are big supporters like us, which I don't feel is unreasonable

I would sincerely hope that any banner produced DURING the game would have the effect of the stewards asking for them to be removed. Banners displayed whilst the game is in progress would certainly not help the players quest in obtaining three points.

The Blackburn End only 'sit in' won't work if a large number of fans elsewhere in the ground want to protest... eg what if the BBE gets overcrowded with people moving?

My thoughts are the Darwen End mainly tbh, as some fans held an unplanned protest after one of the games last season and I expect that to be the case again on Sunday as part of this organised one, but with those wanting to take part remaining where they are after the game.
