Thank you to everyone who attended the meeting tonight, IMO it went really well and a lot of information was gathered regarding fans concerns.

These concerns were not new concerns and are the same concerns which are shared by many on these message boards.

A meeting with the club is currently on the agenda where 6 supporters will initially meet with Paul Hunt where these can be put across in a structured manner.

Alot of progress has been made this week in talks myself and Simon have had with the club and a glimmer of light is appearing at the end of the tunnel.

The BRST also attended the meeting and gave an update to the supporters in attendance where that particular project is upto and it was all positive on that front.

In addition another guest was present who I did not ask to speak, and those who don't know him will be unaware he was in the building, but it is a MASSIVE plus to the supporters of Blackburn Rovers that he not only attended but offered his 100% support.

I would also like to thank the two lads who went to Pune, who after the TV camera's left, made themselves available for some questions from supporters. This was very informative, and despite some difficult questions from some who were in attendance they kept their cool and delivered some real positive answers.

Sky TV and Andy Cryer where also in attendance

I'm sincerely glad all went well tonight Glen. Credit to you and Simon.

I was there and Sky sports news was also there who did a interview with Glen Mullen and Simon Two of the pune 9 took a right grilling from others who was there but they refused to do interviews for SSN.

Tom's already said why we refused to speak to SSN tonight but I'll add a bit more.

They have 10 Premier League games to preview tomorrow, and what they tend to do on Fridays is give half of every hourly loop to PL previews, with a time preference given to the biggest games.

After adverts, that means they only have ~2 1/2 mins to preview each PL game, so an average of 75 seconds for each club. Most of that is footage from the official press conferences featuring the manager.

So although we all saw Sky shoot at least half an hour of footage at Uncle Jacks pub tonight, their editor is going to pick 2 or 3 soundbites from the fans to fit around whatever angle they decide to take on the match preview - and the people who spoke into the camera tonight have no control over that whatsoever.

That's the main reason why I refused to talk to Sky. We've seen the result of soundbite TV journalism (eg Granada reports when we were in India) and it stinks.

I hope that once the press had gone and the meeting opened up a bit, that Tom and I answered the questions people asked as best we could, both in the open meeting and individually afterwards. If not, we're not exactly hiding, so let us know.

I thought both you and Tom where excellent, very open and told it exactly how the pair of you saw it whilst you was in India, It was very imformative and many would of took some knowledge away which they did not already know

Cheers Glen it's good to be able to talk to fans with all different views on things and there was certainly that tonight, one or two were getting their angry heads on but it's all down to passion.

Sparky it's not about being in the know. Nor playing guessing games. This is about doing things right and feeling comfortable when things are put out in the public domain.

As Glen said we have reflect on tonight's meeting. Then let you all know the next steps.

well done Ralf that banner of Kean's tenure in charge is massive that will definitely get the message through I only hope the owners are listening.

This guy Duncan on the supporters trust is it the former chairman of the disabled supporters club Duncan Gardiner?.

Well done Glenn & all who organised the meeting I'm glad it went well and hope the message hits home.

As a side issue on Sky sports 2 tonight they had an interview with rovers in India they spoke with Salgado, Roberts, & coco & Venkatesh well worth a watch & JR has found something he is good at made a gnocci italian dish maybe we could relegate him to the kitchen staff & get someone who can actually score.

Cheers mate. I thought rather than just simply Kean Out banners. I'd rather have his stats on display for all to see. Maybe and hopefully this will force the owners hands along with all the other banners and protesters on sun. Oh and daybreak just said its going to be warm on Sunday!!!!

I will be watching the game live on TV here in Bangkok, floods permitting, and hope to see your banner on TV. Without checking back will in be Riverside or BBE?

Put the banner up a few minutes before the end, Kean has to seen it, if losing the crowd will be too angry for anyone to remove the banner at that point.
