Put the banner up a few minutes before the end, Kean has to seen it, if losing the crowd will be too angry for anyone to remove the banner at that point.

Quoted because it needs emphasising.

Just hope the crowd stop the stewards from removing any banners.

And how would they do that?

Stewards have a job to do they get a lot of unfair flack IMO

I was at the meeting and it was good to see everyones differing views but at the end I felt like we were all united in what we ultimately want for the club. Glen and Simon did a great job and will do everything they can to help get our club back on track.

Tom and Tris did very well and answered all the questions they could, I think some people didnt understand they were relaying info from Pune, it wasnt particularly their opinions just what they were told.....

Im not too sure who the Mystery guest was but Im suspecting it was a "big wig" from one of Rovers main sponsors!

On a seperate note I heard a worrying whisper after the meeting re: the SEM/Kentaro involvement, and that the Premier League are investigating their Involvement at the club....this was mentioned by a local ex-Premiership Ref who was present at the meeting..his name escapes me at the moment!

Did I chat with you Mack? It's funny I presumed there would be people off the forums there but you have no idea in real life.

Edit; ignore that, worked out who you are now mate

At one stage I thought people were going to start shouting at us as if we were the Venkys ha

I was with Walshy..... ;)

People have frustrations towards Venkys, and last night wanted to vent their frustration and because you were relaying what the Venkys said they couldnt grasp that you didnt necessarily agree what they were saying.

There were quite a few people who left less sober than when they walked in....

Lol, Those pints seemed to be going down well, and your observation of who was in the room, most impressive :-)

This has been flagged as a huge risk for a long time.

There has been a lot of speculation about the legitimacy of Rovers' business dealings under Venky's and I understand that at least two senior members of the 'old' management team 'left' because of such concerns.

If as bad as some people speculate, we might not need to worry about Kean relegating us as the authorities will do it!!!

Yeah I worked it out soon after posting, typical of Walshy to give me a hard time the bugger, that's what old schoolmates are for eh!

I fully understand all frustrations, were you with the guy in the blue t shirt? He seemed a little angry after a couple but came over after and said it wasn't personal or anything.

We spotted the guest as well, or more to the point somebody mentioned him to us, I didn't notice Andy Cryer there though myself.

Alot of progress has been made this week in talks myself and Simon have had with the club and a glimmer of light is appearing at the end of the tunnel.

I think fans are rock bottom at the moment and it is good to hear that there may be light even if it is only a glimmer !

Can you elaborate on this though ? Is this in relation to Kean possibly being removed or are you talking about communication in general with the club ?

In addition another guest was present who I did not ask to speak, and those who don't know him will be unaware he was in the building, but it is a MASSIVE plus to the supporters of Blackburn Rovers that he not only attended but offered his 100% support.

Fantastic Glen. Who was it though ? Was it Eddie Wolstenholme ?

If the person doesn't want to be named fair enough but it would be good to know who it is !

cheers.

No we certainly werent with that guy....hahaha

There was only 3 of us from Clitheroe, Cryer was there at the start dont know when he left though. That was typical Walshy he just CAN get emotional, It wasnt directed at yourselves more to the fact that instead of the Venkys sorting things over here, they still persist Pune is the place to be.....needs to change, a does the manager.

Glen....who was the "big wig"? where was he sat? Could be massive having him/them on side!

Unless this special guest was Bill Gates and he was there to confess he was a massive Rovers fan then I don't see the big deal with keeping his identity hidden.

It just gets people over excited followed by the inevitable let down at the reveal. I think that has been the story of being a Rovers fan for the last 12 months. As well as pressing the refresh button until it is worn through hoping that the news of Kean's dismissal has finally been broken.
