Bluefudge Posted October 17, 2011 Posted October 17, 2011 Yes, winning is something that is way in the past. At all cost!! Haven't we been here before. Think even Kean could manage Rangers in their division.

roverandout Posted October 17, 2011 Posted October 17, 2011 i would take walter smith in a heartbeat...as manager!!
rebelmswar Posted October 17, 2011 Posted October 17, 2011 Who cares just get kean out . That was on the antisam fraternities lips too, we did ever-so-well with the outcome of that last fantastic move.
m1st Posted October 17, 2011 Posted October 17, 2011 If he does get it, I hope he introduces himself to Kean and our illustrious owners with a Glaswegian kiss. I would pay to see that and pay a lot to do it. And I would gladly pay for the hire of any public Hall in which this traditional greeting took place!
rebelmswar Posted October 17, 2011 Posted October 17, 2011 At all cost!! Haven't we been here before. Think even Kean could manage Rangers in their division. You think far more of that creature than I do then.
ABBEY Posted October 17, 2011 Posted October 17, 2011 That was on the antisam fraternities lips too, we did ever-so-well with the outcome of that last fantastic move. I will bite ... Name one anti sam who wanted kean , just one.
Bluefudge Posted October 17, 2011 Posted October 17, 2011 You think far more of that creature than I do then. No, just think it's a poor poor league. I understand that Smith would steady the ship, but where just goin back 3 years to when Sam came in.
Majiball Posted October 17, 2011 Posted October 17, 2011 I will bite ... Name one anti sam who wanted kean , just one. The right-honourable and justly appointed ruler of the chicken people. Mrs D.
rovgers Posted October 17, 2011 Posted October 17, 2011 At all cost!! Haven't we been here before. Think even Kean could manage Rangers in their division. I seriously hope you're not trying to compare Smith to Kean (or ince)! I think you are taking the pish if you think Kean could manage Rangers.

m1st Posted October 17, 2011 Posted October 17, 2011 No, just think it's a poor poor league. I understand that Smith would steady the ship, but where just goin back 3 years to when Sam came in. But, if he keeps us in the Premier League, . . . ?

And what would be wrong with that? When we were a side with a purpose, a structure, a side that won football matched and made Ewood a fortress. About time this 'hoofball' ###### got put to bed after the utter bilge masquerading as Premier League football we've witnessed this last year.

Just to stop you there I never wanted Sam sacked, know the guy personally and know just how his teams played. Had we given him the cash Kean has had we would be sitting nicely in the top half. And as for Managing Rangers. Christ with their squad, the quality of their league I could finish in the top 3!!!

Can't say fairer than that! (I'll leave my rant up for others)
rebelmswar Posted October 17, 2011 Posted October 17, 2011 Fan not Kean or muggets That would be hard because no bugger had heard of him besides himself and the people who owned the arses that were being kissed. My point was that we need to have an idea of what we are going to for before any more of these appointment. People didn't care who would be appointed just as long as Sam was sacked, and we got something befitting of that lack of foresight.
John Posted October 17, 2011 Posted October 17, 2011 Think we need to merge some threads - there is already one on DOF and post Kean...
Bluefudge Posted October 17, 2011 Posted October 17, 2011 Can't say fairer than that! (I'll leave my rant up for others) We are all just very frustrated, we all want the same outcome. We all want the best for OUR Rovers.
m1st Posted October 17, 2011 Posted October 17, 2011 I seriously hope you're not trying to compare Smith to Kean (or ince)! I think you are taking the pish if you think Kean could manage Rangers. Given that his footballing development was with the team in the eastern half of the city . . . ,
daverich Posted October 17, 2011 Posted October 17, 2011 Walter Smith for Director of football strong rumours he is on his way ,Steve Kean has mention his name to the owners what is going on the owners are just listening to him. Walter Smith days as manager are over i don't want him here because Steve Kean is here and its turning out that rovers are becoming a Cockey Mafia like Newcastle are,if Walter Smith is on his way. This was the talk I managed to dig out today over the weekend this matter was spoken about. Are you roversinsider by any chance???
OJRovers Posted October 17, 2011 Posted October 17, 2011 Kean needs to leave the club - simple as that. Moving him to another role won't get rid of the problem. Walter Smith would be an improvement on Kean as manager, but wouldn't be my first choice.
roverandout Posted October 17, 2011 Posted October 17, 2011 i would take walter matthau over kean and hes been dead over 10 years.
Hughesy Posted October 17, 2011 Posted October 17, 2011 T4E - you seem a big fan of his....what makes you think he would be good for us? I just want Kean out first, forget any appointments until he is binned!
roverandout Posted October 17, 2011 Posted October 17, 2011 i suppose smith could advice kean on how to avoid relegation because thats all he ever did when he was at everton.
koi Posted October 17, 2011 Posted October 17, 2011 Don't forget under Smith in the early '90s Rangers were the biggest spending club in Britain and I can't remember Everton finishing in the top half at all under him. Kean needs to go but Smith isn't the answer.
